Hardcore Tag Battle!

There it was, there was that old feeling of flesh under her fingers, a windpipe crushing under her grip. It had a been while since she had the opportunity to  do something like this without having a referee to spoil the fun. Kaede made the most lovely noises, too. "What's that?" Styx pressed her thumbs in even harder. "I can't quite make out what you're-"

Styx's taunt was rudely interrupted by an eye rake, making her let go of the hold and take a step back. It didn't hurt much, but it was annoying as fuck, and she had to take a few seconds to get her vision sorted out. When she finally did, she saw Kaede on the outside of the ring, rooting around underneath the apron. Time to bring out the party favors.

Styx grabbed her golf club and slid out of the ring, dropping on the floor a few feet away from Kaede. "Find anything interesting under there?" She took a few cautious steps toward Kaede, dragging the golf club behind her.

While rummaging under the ring, Kaede continued to cough for air as the choke did a number of her as she reached around blindly, trying to find a weapon. Feeling something that could be useful she soon heard Styx coming up behind her as her lips curled into a smile, "Wanna find out?" she responded as she felt that the item she grabbed was of metal origin which fit her needs quite nicely.

Pulling it out it was a metal pipe, small but vicious as she would whip it upwards and tried to get the jump on Styx and bash it into Styx's side. However because of the smaller weapon, her range was greatly outclassed by the golf club but Kaede knew that if she could connect with the hit, it would give her the time she needed to turn things around in her favor.

Apparently, the AFW kept large, metal pipes up the under the ring, for some completely indiscernible reason. Not that she  was complaining, of course. It was quite handy. Styx would have to keep that in mind for the future, something that could come in handy later on. For now, though, it was just a nuisance. A big, painful nuisance.

"Fucker!" She cried out on pure reflex when the pipe hit her side. Nothing completely broken, but definitely a cracked rib or two. Not the sort of damage she wanted to take this early in a match. She fell back and lashed out with the golf club as she retreated. A couple of wild, random, fierce swings, not caring what she hit on Kaede so long as she hit something, just trying to cover her retreat.

The age old question of having such dangerous weapons beneath the ring was brought up again as Kaede managed to drill Styx in the ribs with the solid pipe. Landing a painful blow on her opponent, Kaede got the breath she needed as she continued to cough. Now that she was in situation where she was in control, Kaede stood up as she went to take advantage. However Styx was swing her golf club like a mad woman, preventing such an approach and earned Kaede a hit tot the thigh for her troubles.

"Gah!" Kaede groaned as she stumbled back, grasping her leg with her free hand. The hit wasn't too serious but it was definitely going to bruise soon as a welt was starting to form. "Dammit!" the judo girl hissed as she limped backwards, gripping her metal pipe it was her weapon against the golf swinging maniac. Although, she wasn't planning on pursuing with the wild swings as Kaede opted to roll back into the ring, getting to her feet as she favored her leg, still pulsing with pain a bit before putting more weight on it.

Styx was glad Kaede didn't really pursue her with the metal pipe, because, truth told, she probably would've scored a good hit if she did. She needed a few moment to recover, nursing her aching side and fighting past the pain, and Kaede was gone by the time the haze cleared up, already moving back into the ring.

She rolled in her side, coming from the side, a few feet away and out of their ranges. "Look like you're hurting there. Me, too." Styx held the golf club up. "How about we get rid of the weapons and just do it straight, fist on flesh? You toss yours, I'll toss mine."

Styx held the club up, ready to toss it, while her other hand reached into her pocket and started to slip the brass knuckles around her fingers...

Kaede waited in the ring as she paced back and forward, watching and waiting for Styx to get back into the ring. When Stxy rolled in, Kaede tightened her grip on the metal pipe as she was ready to fight again. However Styx brought up an interesting proposal of discarding their weapons and fighting fist to fist. Giving the idea some thought, going fist to fist with Styx would be fun but in the long run the punishment she would take would be tremendous.

However as the gauntlet was thrown, Kaede accepted as she lifted her pipe and tossed it aside. "Bring it on." she challenged Styx, noticing that Styx had slipped her hand into her pocket, probably another great toy was waiting to be used or something. Or maybe it was just a habit to brush her hand inside her pocket, Kaede wouldn't know until the hand came back out...

Isabella had been content to stand in her little corner of the ring and watch as the greatest unknown in the match, her own partner, took her turn fighting within the squared circle. Fortunately the girl could fight and Isabella breathed out a sigh of relief so loud she was certain everyone else had heard her just then, but if anyone did hear her they didn't show it as their attention was all on one another. Even Odessa appeared focused on her partner as she reached out and tried distracting her with what seemed like a shoulder massage, an odd choice Isabella thought and one that Odessa paid for as the judo woman, who revealed at last her name to be Kaede of all things, graced her with a hard elbow to the fave.

"Ouch! Good one Kaede!" She shouted out hoping her partner was the sort to respond to positive reinforcement, it wasn;t usually her thing but it was worth a shot. River then took the fight to Kaede while the woman was looking elsewhere, landing a hard hit that seemed to do its job judging by the look on Kaede's face.

While thankfully her partner made a quick escape she took a bruise or two with her, but it was outside the ring where Isabella saw the most pain being inflicted as each woman exchanged shots with a metal pipe and a golf club. Kaede she felt had the upper hand but she backed away and soon River followed, the woman making an offer to Kaede to ditch the weapons but no sooner had they tossed them did she see River reaching into her pocket.

"Hey Kaede don't trust that one, looks to me like she has a little surprise for you in her pocket and I doubt its the fun kind." She called out to her partner hoping she would heed her warning and do something with it.

Styx tried not to smirk too hard when she saw Kaedo toss her weapon away, but it took real effort. She'd gotten to choke someone today, and now she'd get to beat the shit out of her, too. How long had it been since she felt that cold steel around her fingers? A year? Two? Too long.

She started to bring them out, when Isabella decided now was a good time to open her mouth and spoil the fun. "Bitch, shut the fuck up. Dealing with you next." So much for the surprise, but she still had an advantage to push, here, and she gleefully went for it. Styx bounded forward and swung out with her knuckle dusters, looking to take Kaede's head clean off her shoulders.

Kaede tossed her weapon as she waited for Styx to do the same as she heard her partner calling out to her. Not willing to break complete focus again as the last time she did that, Styx crushed her into the corner, Kaede slightly turned her head to keep focus on both Styx and her partner, Isabella.

Kaede had little time to respond to her partner as Styx lashed out and then lunged at Kaede as she saw what was Styx's surprise, a knuckle duster. Like that woman needed anything to amplify her punching. With that Kaede would try to duck underneath the vicious hit coming to her face, she would ready an elbow as she targeted the same spot where she hit with the pipe in Styx's side and pushing with her left hand, she would attempt to burrow her right elbow into the targeted area.

True, Styx didn't need brass knuckles to do heavy damage with her punches. But Styx didn't need to do anything but grow old and die, really, and she was putting those off for as long as possible. It was a hardcore match, where was then fun if she didn't do things a ref would never let her get away with? Next time, she was busting out the barbwire bat. Or a barbwire golf club, there was a nifty idea.

This time, though, the brass knuckles would be enough. She thought so, anyway, but she'd almost forgotten about that pesky little 'skill' thing Kaede had to go along with her bitchiness. The blow missed, and before Styx even had a chance to drop back and give another try, she took a blow in her still-tender ribs, flaring up the pipe's pain.

"Shit!" Styx covered her chest and fell back against the ropes, trying to make her body stop screaming about the pain and listen to her direction.
