The Mysterious Curse

Xerxan wouldn't of went too far from camp which wouldn't be hard for Arasinya to spot him as he begins to stretch seeming to finally adapted to the curse that it wasn't bothering him. He was hoping to sneak in the stretching without Arasinya getting upset with him for pushing himself too. If she doesn't disturb him and pretends to be asleep he would start gathering the fresh fruit from the bushes knowing the oatmeal will taste better with fruit. When it was nearly done he would call to them that food was ready as they got up he would fill three bowls with oatmeal then offer them the fresh fruit to them.

When Arasinya finally saw Xerxan, who was stretching out, her first thought was to go over to him and scold him for pushing himself too hard. But she knew that Xerxan wanted to be strong enough to face his notorious grandmother once the group reaches their destination. So, she would get a few more moments to rest before walking to the opposite side of Xerxan to do some stretching herself. She would evem practice her attacks and defenses if they confront any other enemies on the way.

Hopefully as soon as Xerxan finishes preparing breakfast, the three would get the energy needed for their mission.

Xerxan will notice Arasinya move behind him ready to hear the scolding from her because he was working out instead of resting because the inactivity was driving him crazy. When she surprised him by not scolding him about the stretching he didn't press his luck by doing anything more. After he finished preparing the oatmeal and called to both of them, but if Morwen didn't wake up he would motion for Arasinya that her rival will have to eat a cold breakfast if she didn't wake up soon.

By the time Arasinya was finished, Xerxan would call them for breakfast. Arasinya would quickly head back and wake up her rival and tell her that breakfast is ready. Morwen relictantly got up and put on her boots so she can join the other two for a good bowl of oatmeal. They began to eat and kept themselves warm with their blankets.

A little later, Morwen asked, "So, what's our next plan of attack, Xerxan?"

As he ate he started wondering if it would be safer just to run and hope to out distance his newly discovered family, but is worried that they may have ways to track him down no matter where he ran. When Morwen asks what his plan of attack his he would shrug as he never did anything like they are attempting in his entire life, but he will say " they know where we are I am sure of it except I have no clue how they do."

Morwen looked down at her food as she took another bite. She knew that the enemy won't stop spying on them until they are disposed of. She said with a sigh, "I guess we have no choice then but to keep moving. I still hope we can save those two sisters."

Arasinya finished her current mouthful before saying, "I may have something that can help with that. I know it's not a spell that can compete with the more skillful ones, but I believe it can help us greatly."

He would stop eating for a moment to ask " didn't they would be expecting us which can count out any traps being set to kill us till after we arrive where they live." He would then wonder as he finished up who they will send to meet then being he didn't expect his mothers family to let three unknowns wander through their front door.

The Grandmother says to one of her daughters to wait at the agreed spot then lead them through the secret path to the house for their meeting.

"We better hurry quickly then," said Arasinya finishing up her meal. "We should be able to spot any traps with Morwen's help and we'll find their location in no time." Once all three are done and ready, they can proceed ahead. Arasinya kept a sword and dagger with her for physical defense while Morwen kept hers in her cloak. In case both need to recharge their magic, their blades would definitely help them for the moment.

He would quickly clean up the dishes so he could be ready too so they wouldn't have to wait for him even though he is really nervous to meet other family members he never even heard of till maybe a few days ago. When everything was cleaned up they would head into the underdark where a special gateway was glowing ready for them to use with a ghostly arrow pointing from the direction they came from to the gateway.

"That must be it," said Arasinya keeping her cover alongside her allies. "Once we go through that gateway, it's going to be only forward from here on out. Do we have everything we need?" She wanted to ensure that all are prepared for this for they might not turn back after this.

Morwen would check her things and said, "I feel set, if you are also, Xerxan. Shall we?"
