Wanna Be Stronger

Despite Navi being fairly impressed with Sakura, she felt there was still a massive divide between the 2 of them. Even though, Navi was glad she faced the idol in a spar, as it made for a solid work out for her...

She pushed Sakura into the air, picked up her thighs, and tried to plant her back into the canvas to execute her finisher...

...Only for Sakura to trap her head between her legs momentarily, before bending backwards, flipping the blonde onto her back with a sudden counter!

"AAAGH!", Navi screamed, arching her hurt spine, trying to get on her feet before the raven-haired idol capitalised on her compromised state!

Sakura was not going to go down that easily, even though she was exhausted it was the thought of being proved wrong that would hurt her more than any pain her body would have to endure in a physical match. She had done well to establish herself as a wrestler and soon she was going to be the strongest in the world.

With all these feelings in mind, she attempted a desperate last ditch effort at the hurricanrana and to her surprise, she pulled it off! Quickly flipping her opponent down on her back, Sakura would proceed for a quick schoolgirl pin!

"One.....two....!"

With her opponent's hurricanrana counter successful, Sakura promptly sat on her opponent's chest with a schoolgirl pin, attempting to get a quick pin on Navi!

"One!"

"Two!"

Despite the move coming out of nowhere, no way was Navi done. Despite Sakura's fully weight being on Navi's frame (and as the result - shoulders), the blonde managed to push her arm up into the air, managing to kick out of Sakura's pin attempt!

After slamming her down with her surprise hurricanrana attempt out of nowhere, Hagiwara would quickly stay straddled up the blonde female and pin her down in a quick schoolgirl pinfall. She looked right down on her struggling opponent's face, wishing she would just stay down. Sakura's chest heaved up and down, sweat dripping down from her body as she breathed heavily.

Unfortunately, Navi was able to kick out, bringing her arm up into the air and rolling to one side, making Sakura lose her balance as she toppled off of Navi and fell down onto her own side. It didn't take her too long to shift up to her knees though, placing her hands on her thighs to take a breather before pushing up onto her feet.

"Shit..."

Navi had to admit, she did not expect that.

Considering how long she's been working over Sakura, she thought she had enough, and that the French blonde needed to wrap things up...

From the current situation, as Navi tried to push herself up, and as Sakura took a quick breather, that wasn't the case.

Both women were still ready to continue the fight. She made a mistake underestimating the idol's endurance. It was not going to happen again.

Rushing at Sakura with an outstretched arm, Navi would attempt to floor the raven-haired idol with a clothesline!

That was one of the strong points of the Sakura Hagiwara. She was the type of opponent who was determined as hell to give it her all in a wrestling match be it a spar or a proper in-ring performance. She had taken a lot of punishment in this bout and she was exhausted but if it meant to prove the veterans of AFW wrong, she was willing to go the distance and prove her doubters and the nay-sayers that she was a tough competitors and not a glorified jobber.

After countering Navi's signature move, she would turn the bout around by a hurricanrana which resulted in a nearfall pin. Once the two would slowly got back up on their feet, Navi would rush at Sakura with an outstretched arm attempting a clothesline attempt. Sakura would gasp, thinking on her feet she would quickly side-step her opponent, grabbing her by her out-stretched arm and scissoring Navi's legs with hers, looking to take Navi down on her belly while Hagiwara dropped on her butt next to her. With Sakura still having hold of Navi's arm, she would place it between her legs to trap it before crossing her hands around Navi's face and began to pull backwards as she countered her clothesline and turned it into a crippler cross-face submission.

As Navi rushed at Sakura, suddenly, the raven-haired idol would sidestep her forearm at the very last moment. Right as the French blonde tried to stop her own momentum, Sakura would grab her arm, and snake her legs around Navi's, forcing the French girl to drop stomach first on the canvas.

Right as Navi attempted to push up from the manuever, the idol would would scissor her arm, while coiling her arms around her face, pulling backwards on her headand arm, causing a massive strain on her neck and shoulders with a Crossface!

Growling in pain, Navi would, at first, attempt to simply separate Sakura's arms at her chin...but, surprisingly, no awail. Navi couldn't overpower the raven-haired wrestler pulling on her head as the pain from the hold got worse and worse...

Navi's only option? Claw her way, from the middle of the ring, all the way to the ropes, with her untrapped arm and legs...

Sakura was not going to accept being taken lightly by her opponent, spar or not, this was her opportunity to show to Navi and the rest of the Friction roster that Sakura was not just a jobber that transitioned from Berserk to AFW. Sakura had done her time as jobber in Berserk and from there she trained hard and put in the time to be a decent enough wrestler that was on the way to be a real star, to be the strongest in the world.

The clothesline was countered by the Sweet Diva Idol and she brought down Navi, face first on the ring mat, trapping her in a crippler cross face submission. Sakura pulled her opponent's head back viciously, curling her back in a "C" like position. Sakura gritted her teeth as she did as much as she could to keep her opponent trapped in the submission. Sakura would use her legs to shift and circle around, trying to keep Navi as far away from the ropes as possible. "Do you g-give?" she would ask, heaving and panting heavily from the effort and exertion.

The ropes were just a meter away. Just a bit more and she could escape Sakura's clutches!

But, the idol saw through her plan, and started to spin around in a circle: "No...no!"

And then, to add insult to injury, the girl Navi called jobber just a few minutes ago had to ask the cursed words: "AAAAAH...Damnit...no!"

She couldn't lose like this...could she? But there was no escape...at least not obviously. Unable to keep a clear head, she panicked...but refused to quit. She would not allow herself to surrender to Sakura, after just one lucky hold...

Sakura knew that, despite there being no referee, she would have to let her opponent go should she reach the rope. Sakura wanted to keep her baby face persona whether a match being official or a just a gym spar. Instead of that, she would kick her feet at the mat to twist and turn their position so they faced away from the ropes and back towards the middle of the ropes. 

Sakura huffed and puffed, her body glistening in sweat as she kept pulling Navi's head back in the camel clutch further and further, increasing it each time she would refuse to give up.
