Alaina was rising as the dropkick hammered her in the chest! Alaina fell back with a groan, landing on her back. She rubbed her chest as she sat up, trying again yo rise to her feet but a little more slowly this time around.

/me smirked, knowing that she was putting her mentor on the ropes, although she was a bit worried she over did it, not wanting to hurt her in a training session like theirs. So with herself getting back up, she stood away, awaiting for her mentor to get back up, "Am I doing well Aliana," she asked her.

"Since I have spent most of my time on the mat so far I would say you are doing very well!" Alaina said as she got up, seeing that Aisha was waiting. Alaina didn't want to make her wait for long, trying to go for something of a surprise by springing at her as quickly as she could! Alaina jumped up and flew horizontally at Aisha, trying to crash into her chest with a running cross body block!

This caught Aisha off guard with a that she was on the mat a little dazed now that she was crushed by the crossbody, bodies having smashed right into each other with a bit of a thump, "How about... now," she tried to say, having had her air knocked rig out of her lungs. Wasn't the best way to counter such a move by letting yourself get hit but she'd have to correct that and be more on guard. She then would try to push them off.

Alaina felt Aisha push off and she worked her way up to her feet. Alaina readied herself as Aisha got up, and held her hands out for a grapple. If that is what Aisha wanted to work on, that isbwhat Alaina would try to do.

Grinning, she stepped in as she tried to lock up with Aisha.

Aisha would push up against Alaina in another grapple, trying to best her new found mentor and prove her worth. Grappling wasn't her forestay but she would do it in stride. Her hands would try to go low catch her off balance, however she would also have to contend with her being far more open to an attack from up top but hoped getting her a bit more off balanced would let her get the drop on the Amazon.

Alaina moved in and got hold of Aisha, however, Aisha went low and caught Alaina off guard! Alaina opted not to fight against it though, falling down onto her back! She tried to wrap up Aisha and pull her down on top of her, wrapping her legs around Aisha's torso and attempting to use her arms to wrap up Aisha's head to catch her in a bodyscissor/headlock all at the same time!

Aisha was doing her best to catch hold of her new found mentor, finding purchase only to be put into a quick and dirty bodyscissors, with her head caught in a headlock which she struggled now to breath. She was far too unaware to stop it. Her body ground up against her, trying to push off, but the scissors hold was dug in, a test to show how she can escape such a strong hold.

Alaina kept up the pressure, trying to inflict pain and keep the hold locked in. However she wanted to hold it not to make Aisha tap, but to make her learn to escape. "All right... be calm and think of how you escape. What options are open to you?" Alaina said as she rocked back and forth, wondering if Aisha picked up on her hint ...

"Well.. I'm in pain..." she says, an audible groan in her voice. She was struggling against it, a test of one of her weakest strengths, to escape such a maneuver through not brute strength but through skill and focus. Of course she didn't pick up on it at first until a few seconds later, rocking back and forth, trying to change position.
