Alaina let out a sigh as she looked at towards the ceiling. "I don't know anymore to be honest.
I just can't out together a complete dominant match, and I can't seem to seal a victory anymore. It is like I'm not who I used to be." Alaina said.

"I go harder at the gym and work like never before but it feels like it is all for nothing."

Nanami looked at Alaina, feeling sorry for her. Getting on her knees next to her, Nanami would look down on her face, smiling gently at her. "Maybe you should take it easy, Alaina-san. You're probably overworking yourself..." she said, trying to sound reassuring and comforting.

"Well, if you got anyone to talk to, I'm all ears," she said, hoping that the Amazon would confide to her.

"Thanks Nanami, I will keep that in mind. I just need to clear my head and figure something out. I just don't know anymore sometimes. The harder I try the worse off I am. I don't get it." Alaina said as she shook her head, standing back up and pacing around the ring with her hands on her hips. How could she take it easy when she had to focus herself on preventing another slump from setting in?

Nanami never thought that she would see Alaina being this distressed. She could only hope that she could help her out getting herself out of her slump. "Umm... maybe you should take a break or something? I mean... working hard is good, but overworking yourself won't bring you any good result," she tried to reason with Alaina, hoping to snap her out of her depression.

Honestly, she didn't know how to actually help the bigger woman, though she had to try regardless.

Alaina sighed and shook her head again. One hand went up, running through her hair. "Maybe I should just step back and take a break. It could be a day, it could be a week or a month. I just can't figure out how to get my focus back. It will come back to me again I hope." Alaina said as cheerfully as she could. She knew she had to clear her head, but the only way she knew how to get better was to work at something, so taking a step back just seemed like the opposite of what she should be doing.

Nanami tried to come up with a better solution for Alaina's problem. Still, she had no idea what to say, considering that she didn't know exactly what was troubling her. "Umm... w-well, I'm so sorry to hear that..." she could only offer an apology for this, thinking that she didn't have what it take to help the Amazon out.

"Still, when did this start? I mean... you being like this," she said, hoping that she could get understanding on what was going on with Alaina.

Alaina sat back and sighed. "I lost a match I was supposed to win. I had total co trip and couldn't put this rookie away. She came back and beat me.
I guess I felt really humbled and embarassed. Was it an off day? Am I not as good as I think I am? I just need to step back and collect myself. I know I can be the best I just have to rediscover it."

Nanami listened to Alaina patiently, trying to come up with a proper response after she's done. "Umm... well, maybe you're just thinking too hard about it, Alaina-san. I mean, winning and losing are normal things in wrestling, right?" She said. "We can't just win everything in our life, you know?"

Sighing, she then said, "As for me, I have more losses than wins during my time as a pro wrestler, including the time when I hadn't joined AFW yet. But I don't give up and think that all those losses can be my motivation to better myself," Then, she sheepishly scratched the back of her head. "Still, I don't think I have improved much..."

Alaina was quiet for a minute, reflecting on what Nanami had just told her. She nodded and closed her eyes, further thinking and reflecting. "I think you may be right about me, but you are wrong about yourself. Nanami you have gotten much better since the last time we fought. You have improved and are a challenge to face inside these ropes, never forget that. Don't sell yourself short Nanami. You are very good and will keep improving if you keep working at it the way you have." Alaina said as a genuine smile crept across her face. The amazon looked over at Nanami, still smiling and meaning every bit of what she had just told the younger woman.

Nanami was happy to hear Alaina's words. To be recognized by such a person, Nanami's day couldn't get any brighter. Beaming at the Amazon, she said, "T-thank you! Y-your words mean a lot to me, Alaina-san! I-I promise I'll work harder and be the best there is!" She wanted to show Alaina that she could get up no matter how many times she fell, and she would become one among the best in the league no matter what.

"So, umm... are you feeling better now, Alaina-san?" Nanami asked. She hoped that the little pep talk she gave to Alaina would improve her mood now.
