Tag Match: Kara and Vita vs Kyo and Makie

Vita smiles as her hit lands and for a moment almost forgets why she climbed into the ring, well one of the reasons for climbing in the ring. She glances at Makie still in her corner and gives her a quick wink. First she has to get Kyo in a position where he’ll be a captive audience.

Vita will try to darts away from Kyo before actually running around his right flank and kicking her left leg at the back of Kyo’s feet sweep off his feet.

Makie saw Vita flash her the wink, and cheekily returned it. She knew what was going on, and what Vita was up to...and while, admittedly, she kinda resented that Vita had to kick her brother's ass in order to do it, she nonetheless approved of Vita's plan. Hopefully, Kyo survive the ordeal with only his pride hurt...

Kyo, meanwhile, gave a loud gasp as his feet were knocked out from under him. Crashing onto his front, he gritted his teeth and kick up, hoping to take Vita by surprise or at the very least force her back a little...

Vita beams a smile at Makie when she manages to trip Kyo, as if they were on the same team. She tries to reach down to grab Kyo, setting him up for a submission hold. That was until Kyo’s feet kick upward towards her face. Vita stumbles backwards just barely avoiding his surprise rise. In her scramble she stumbles, leaving her on the back foot unable to doge a moment.

Kyo was quick to leap back to his feet. The last thing he wanted was to be at Vita's mercy at a time like this, especially given how quick the girl was. Without wasting any breath, Kyo would grab for her arm, aiming to whip her across the ring and nail her with a clothesline on the rebound...unless, that was, she decided to dodge at the last minute...

Vita bounces off the ropes speeding towards Kyo. Just before making contact she ducks just beneath Kyo’s arm so close she can feel the air being displaced by his swing. She reaches the far ropes and at that moment figures what she’s going to try next.

As Vita runs back towards Kyo she will try to make it look like she’s going for her own armbar, but instead of striking at Kyo’s chest she will try to aim high to hook around his neck. If she connects she will try to spin around him, wrapping her arm around his neck to lock in something like a rear naked headlock. If she can lock in the hold she will try to turn in such a way that they are facing her team’s corner where Kara is standing.

“I can see why Kara was looking forward to this match,” Vita whispers into his ear. “Or should I say looking forward to seeing you.”

Kyo's arm shot out, ready to collide with Vita and floor her with a brutal clothesline...if only it had hit. Vita's light build and natural agility quickly came into play, however, as the girl managed to spin around behind him. Alarm bells rang in his head, and he tried to spin around to face her far too late-- in an instant, he felt her arm wrap around his throat, and a few seconds later he was wrenched around, his breathing stifled, to face Kara.

That's when Vita whispered something teasing into his ear. For a moment, Kyo went red. "Wha...what are you...talking about..." he stammered, momentarily paralyzed even as Vita locked in the headlock. Vita had just discovered Kyo's kryptonite: being hit upon.

Well that had a more noticeable effect than she expected. It’s actually a little adorable, Vita thinks to herself. No wonder Kara likes this one.

“Come on Kyo, can you tell me you hadn’t noticed? I know most girls wouldn’t look forward to having to tussle with you again but Kara’s kind of weird. She likes a challenge, that and I’m pretty sure she’s masochistic. Little bit anyways,” Vita whispers in Kyo’s ear.

Meanwhile Kara watches the two with a mixture of confusion and the pent up rage of being pushed out of the ring. She’s more than a little surprised that Vita is doing as well as she is. And why Kyo is blushing so much?

Kyo was getting red faced now, and it wasn't just from the rear naked headlock. Vita's suggestions were taking him by complete surprise: he had to admit to himself that Kara was an attractive opponent, that he really liked her competitive yet fair personality, and the way she seemingly went out of her way to give him a tough fight...but the suggestion that Kara liked him? As in, liked him, liked him? And more surprisingly, that she may or may not have gotten a masochistic thrill from being in the ring with him?

It was a highly distracting revelation, to say the least.

"I...I...it's not like that...between us!" Kyo stammered, now grabbing firmly at Vita's arms as he tried to pull them loose. He was getting more and more flustered now. "We're just...opponents....that's all!"

“Wow you’re in more denial than Kara,” Vita says half to herself.

Just as she says that Vita will try and twist in such a way as to throw Kyo away from herself and into the ropes to set him up for a rebound. If that works she will follow behind and catch him with a drop kick to the chest just as he reaches the middle of the ring.

Distracted and hopelessly flustered as Kyo was, he was easy meat for Vita's next move. For a brief moment, he was out of the headlock as Vita suddenly released him. Whatever relief he felt was short-lived, however, as Vita then unceremoniously whipped him towards the ropes. Wide-eyed, he was unable to stop himself as he bounced off towards Vita...and received a brutal drop kick to the chest the that floored him.

From the ropes, Makie watched with growing concern. On the one hand, she thought it was hilarious the way Vita was teasing Kyo...but on the other hand, she still wanted her team to win this bout...
