Alice Gaster vs Josey Wales - Casket Match!

With Alice starting to partake in matches in Japan, it was only a matter of time until AFW asked her to participate against women in the Friction brand...

...and this particular lady and match fully had her attention from the moment she was told of the match.

Even if Josey Wales's win/loss record was rather mixed in the last few months, the woman was a powerhouse with quite a taste for hardcore. From looking at her past matches, the woman actually beat the AFW World Champion Cecilia Northman, losing to her later in a...

"H-Hangman match?!", she said in surprise as she checked the woman's profile in her apartment on her phone.

Reading the rules, it was exactly what it sounded like.

In the last few years of Alice partaking in a lot of matches with insane stipulations, this was the first one in a while to make her mutter out: "Holy shit...".

Even if the blonde cowboy lost that match, signing the contract for this match alone took (figurative) balls to do...

And she was fighting this woman in a coffin match.

Needless to say, Alice went to sleep smiling in anticipation of that match that day.

On the day of the battle, Alice sat in the locker room, patiently awaiting her match, as she rewatched both of Josey's matches against Cecilia while she waited to be called up...

...until, finally, with all the promos and other matches done for the day, it was time for the last match of the evening. Once a crewworker knocked on the door, Alice practically leaped to her feet to grab her Kendo Stick, dressed in her usual attire of a sleeveless grey T-shirt, tights, knee pads and boots, before she confidentally marched towards the Gorilla Position with a massive smile on her face.

Painless by Fozzy blared on the speakers as the Pale Rider Alice Gaster made her way towards the ring once the song's vocals kicked in. Standing on top of the ramp, she pointed her Kendo Stick at all the people in the audience in an attempt to appear menacing before she made her way to the ring...

...which was quite a sight to behold indeed.

2 caskets stood at the opposite side's of the ring, and around it, a perfect assortment of weapons for the 2 ladies to use to beat the crap out of each other...

...or simply make one another bleed.

2x4s, 2x4s with barbed wire, barbed wire board, baseball bat, baseball bat WITH barbed wire, stapler gun, trashcan, lighttubes, other kendo sticks, chairs, tables, ladders even, and more! The sight was a beauty to behold for the Brit, as she rolled into the ring as the chorus of the song kicked in, and Alice triumphantly lifted her Kendo Stick up into the air, before the song slowly faded into nothingness...

Alice left her weapon at ringside, at a request from the referee to allow a "fair" start in a hardcore match, before the girl sat down at her assigned corner against the turnbuckles, to await the arrival of Josey...

The wail of a harmonica carried through the halls of AFW. More and more people were starting to recognize what it meant. The Outlaw had come back from hiatus, and the mournful whine of a forgotten blues tune portended doom for those with the terrible misfortune to hear it. The boots hitting the floor was her percussion. It was a tune for dancing, yet the worker bees she passed along the way were never going to shake their hips. The song was only meant for one, namely a blonde haired woman wearing all black.

Her cape was tattered. She was not sure how it got its holes, but she had to confess that she did not really care. For a woman as defined by her past as she was, she did not really dwell on it. The cowgirl was living for the now, and the next bottle of whiskey, the next hay bale she would need to sling. The next fight. Luckily, she was going to be in quite the little dust up tonight. Management always liked throwing her into these sorts of matches. It must have been because Josey did not particularly mind. Hell, part of her really enjoyed them.

Whatever the reason was, Josey knew that she had a job to do, and she felt more than up to the task. She was never the type to stretch out completely or eat the right diet or even train that hard. All of her muscle and grit had been natural, and it was likely to stay that way until Josey was six feet under. And even then, there would have to be a lot of people keeping a very close eye on her grave to ensure that she stayed down.

Josey's red eyes glowered as she approached the entrance area. She could hear the roar of the crowd begin to fade a little bit, and she knew that soon it would be her turn to go out there. The Outlaw put her hand on her chest, trying to find her heart beat. Despite the turbulence of the past few months, it was still normal. Good. These sorts of matches still did not daunt the indomitable Josey Wales.

Josey's music reverberated around the arena, and Josey entered to little fanfare. She was not quite loved enough to be appluaded, nor was she scorned enough to be booed. Mostly people just watched silently, and Josey could not say she cared either way. She made her way down to the ring silently with a very stern look on her face, bouncing up once she reached it.

Josey was facing her opponent now, her red eyes burning with hatred. With a great flourish, she removed her black cape and her cowboy hat. She brushed her hair to the side, and stood tall.

"Gonna put you in the fuckin' ground," she snarled.

As Josey entered the arena, the reactiong for the tall blonde was mixed. Some boos, some cheers, a bit of silence for the cowgirl's entrance. Alice couldn't help but feel the weight of the fight coming up, from the stern look on the woman's face as she made her way towards the ring, and from what she could best describe as an "aura of darkness" around the woman. Josey's appearance caused a chill to go down the Brit's spine...

...but also a smile to creep onto her face.

As Josey snarled at her, her smile didn't diminish in the slightest:

"You wouldn't be the first to try that...", she would say, as she got up from her seat to stand up: "But you'll learn I don't really stay in the ground for long..."

Alice's fists rose as she got into a stance, nodding at the ref to signal she was ready to start.

Josey smirked. Another little upstart who thought that she was hot shit. Another upstart whom she would have no choice but to put into the fucking ground. Sometimes, it was adorable. But mostly it just made Josey mad, and when Josey was not a happy camper that generally spelled a very bad day for someone else. It just so happened that Alice happened to be the one chosen. Unlucky her. Josey also signaled to the ref girl that she was ready to begin the match, and with that, they were off. The bell rung to the rising cheer of the crowd, as both women passed the point of no return. It was on.

The Outlaw got her dukes up, and advanced on her opponent. This one was going to get messy in a hurry, and Josey was going to do everything in her power to make a grand rumble of this. Her red eyes scanned her opponent, looking for any chink in the armor. In her fists, she could probably turn coal into a diamond. As soon as she got within range, she launched a massive right hook at her opponent's head!

DING DING DING

With the bell ringing, the match was on!

Both Josey and Alice slowly advanced towards each other with their fists.

With the blonde much bigger than the Brit, she definitely had multiple advantages on her side, including the reach of her punches. She had to react fast as she got closer...

Once within range, the Outlaw would launch her fist straight for Alice's head! She tried to react fast, bringing her left arm up to protect her head from the bigger woman's attack!

"GGGGH!"

Despite the punch not reaching her head, however, it still stung on her arm...

But, with Josey so close to her, she had no time to waste!

Rushing closer, Alice would throw her own fist straight at the Outlaw's gut to take the wind out of her sails!

Once Josey had committed, she committed. It was perhaps her biggest virtue, and her biggest flaw. If she had a solid hand in poker, she was going to throw every last penny that she had at it. If she had a job to do, she was not going to rest until the job was done. If she had a punch to throw, she was going to put everything into it and hold absolutely nothing back. Josey did not hit her opponent's head as she intended, but she would happily settle for hitting Alice's arm. After all, the sheer force of the blow was sure to cause a little bit of damage.

Just as she was winding back to hit Alice again, her opponent did something truly remarkable. She fought back. A blow came into her gut, causing Josey to double over, clutch her gut, and stumble back a few steps. Through half closed eyes, she peered at her opponent, wondering who on earth thought it was a good idea to hit her. But there she was, standing as plain as day. That standing part was something that Josey was going to have to rectify in short order.

Josey would come roaring back. The cowgirl launched one punch, then another, then another. She reckoned that Alice was going to throw up some sort of defense. But the Outlaw found that with enough straight punches, she could break through most defenses. With raw force of will, if not strength.

"Phew...alright, you big bimbo, now-------AAAH!"

Alice would successfully get her gut punch in, and while it would drive Josey back a little...the cowgirl would jump the Brit and go all out on her a moment later, launching left and right straight punches right at her face!

Alice would try to defend after Josey's first punch as her face throbbed...but now her arms were on the receiving end of the attack! Her arms stung with pain with each punch Josey delivered, Alice cringing in pain at the force of the punches!

And, after 2 solid punches to her block, Josey's 3rd would actually break through and nail Alice to the right of her nose!

The next punch, landing on her left cheek, would outright floor the Pale Rider, falling face down at Josey's feet!

Josey kept going. The first punch did not break through, and it would have taken a very weak woman indeed. The second one was just as hard, and Josey saw some cracks begin to form in Alice's defenses. Finally, on the third attempt, Josey broke through and hit the woman straight in her face. Perhaps it was Josey's frustration that caused her to put so much into the attempt, but whatever the case was, the effect was undeniable. Immediately, her opponent dropped to the floor.

"Watch who yer callin' a bimbo..." Josey snarled.

To emphasize her point, Josey lifted her foot up and then brought it down in a hellacious stomp. She supposed it was a good idea to aim for the head, but she was sure that center mass was going to have more of an impact. It sent more of a message, if nothing else...

With Alice flattened on the mat by Josey's punch, the Brit attempted to turn on her spine, trying to quickly roll away before the cowgirl caught her...

...but it seemed that was not to be...

"GYAAAAAAAAAH!"

Right as Alice attempted another roll, the blonde's leg came down swiftly and mercilessly onto her stomach, the raven-haired fighter rolling on her side, covering her hurt belly!

Josey was happy to see the damage that she had wrought on her opponent. The second stomp caused her opponent to slow her roll, literally and figuratively. The crowd booed at her heelish move, but she was not concerned with them. After all, they had come to a hardcore match. A hardcore casket match. Things were going to get rough, and Josey was going to do everything in her power to make this as brutal as possible as quickly as possible.

In a spirit of malice, she bent down to try and haul the woman up from the canvas. If she were successful in her endeavor, she would then attempt to throw her opponent clean out of the ring. That ought to get the party started, she reckoned.
