Sin was not pleased, either.

She had been really getting into the moment with Chloe, loving the way she was getting whipped to-and-fro and the grace that it was being done with. It was a rare experience, being on the receiving end like this, seeing it from the other side, and the lizard part of her brain was relishing the chance. Not to mention the anticipation she was getting from the prospect of paying it all back to Chloe with interest.

She was getting into the moment, loving it, her blood was at a boil, and then it all had to come crashing down when the referee got in her way. Again.

Sin lurched forward, sweat dripping on the canvas, then jolted straight up and threw out a guttural shriek, a cry of ecstasy and rage and lust. Her muscles tensed, her bones cracked, every tendon stretched, as if her body itself was protesting this bullshit. Fuck caution, she wanted Chloe and she wanted her now.

”Sin are you-”

”Fuck out of the way!”

Sin pushed the referee out of the way and came dashing at Chloe full speed, as if she were drawn by nothing but sheer magnetism. She lashed out the moment she was in range, jumping straight up and throwing out snap kicks as she rose, one aimed at her opponent’s chest and the other targeting her face.

Okay, what the fuck is going on?

Here she was really getting into the moment, all is perfect. The way Sin was knocked to and fro, her cries of pain and pleasure. The way those attacks landed on her body. She was really getting her kicks, literally and there was no other feeling that was greater than this. Sure, Sin wasn't crying for help or submitting, but the fact that the Korean wanted it all, well Chloe wasn't going to deny her.

But the referee certainly did.

And now Chloe was in the same position as when Sin had been, waiting as the ref would do her own checks. To get cucked like that, denied from enjoying her meal. She was like a lioness feasting on her prey and someone else just broke it up. Frustration is what Chloe was feeling, the ex-commissioner not liking it one bit.

Sin felt the same. The guttural shriek caught Chloe's attention as the Korean came back to life, even after a beating like that. And unlike Chloe, she wasn't going to wait any longer. She wanted her now. Forced into defence as Sin dashed in at full speed, lashing out with a set of kicks that had Chloe back-peddling, her arms caught most of the chest kick, though the one to her face grazed her some. The blonde was denied punishing the Korean and she wasn't keen on letting Sin turn the tables on her.

Once she finds the best opportunity, the American would throw a roundhouse kick towards her stomach, immediately following up with another, using the opposite foot to catch the side of her head.

Blood pumping, sweat running down her body, every nerve was on fire. This was the sort of thing that Sin craved, an opponent she could really sink her teeth into, and she was already sick to death of being denied of that taste. She wanted Chloe and she wanted her right now, needed to have those kicks slamming into her, wanted to return fire and feel the impacts…

She was a little obsessed now. She could admit it.

The referee was quick to give them space and rightfully so, because Sin was done putting up with her shit. For now, her focus was fully on the fight, and nothing was going to interrupt that. Nothing.

Her kicks lashed out, but didn’t get nearly impact Sin wanted, blocked and avoided well enough. Cursing under her breath, Sin took a short backstep, throwing out a roundhouse kick from the middle range...right as Chloe was doing the same.

Their kicks collided as the shins, making Sin wince as the pain traveled through her body. Hissing, she chambered leg, swung out again, went higher..right as Chloe was doing the same. Again.

Frustrating. Painful and frustrating.

Never the patient sort, Sin decided to try for something a little different, hoping to catch Chloe off guard. Instead of trying for another kick, she dropped down and lashed out with her arm, attempting to catch her foe with a quick right cross to the face.

Chloe Mason vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Two of a Kind - Page 4 Empty Re: Chloe Mason vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Two of a Kind

Adrenaline coursed through her veins, Sin certainly didn't want to wait any longer for Chloe. And if she wanted her then she was going to get her. Deep inside, Chloe loved it. She was loving this quick, fast-paced exchange, both merely acting on instincts and can just lose themselves in the fight. She was reminded of how it used to feel fighting others like this. Not some one-sided showing (even though that does get her going) but a reminder of the thrill such a fight could bring.

And she did have to thank Sin for that. Something she needed all this time.

Focused, Chloe met with the Korean again in another exchange, just about getting away from Sin's kicks before she would send one her way. And that is where she yearned for more, having her foot dig into her body, her flesh giving in. But she met bone. Sorta. Sin would throw a roundhouse kick of her own and their kicks collided as if two swordsmen clashed blades with each other. The pain went down her leg, travelling to her nerves and Chloe grunted. No matter, the next one would find its mark, desiring her head.

Only for it to happen again.

Letting out a frustrated grunt, Chloe would bring her leg down, with a plan in mind. Except for that Sin cam in quick, with an attack, she hadn't expected from the Korean. A punch.

Weird, but it did its job. Catching Chloe off guard, her head snapping backwards and she stumbled back away from her. Wasn't like one of her kicks, but it did stun her, blinking hard to recover it all, bringing her right leg behind her.

Tae Kwon Do was an art that centered around kicks, yes, but not only kicks. No martial art could work with only lower body techniques, after all, even if that was the main focus. It might have seemed rudimentary, especially for a woman like Sin - after all, most of her kicks could be launched faster than most people could punch. But, in her experience, they were a good way to catch trickier opponents off guard. They just never saw it coming, too focused on her feet to realize that she had two other, perfectly good limbs to work with. A guaranteed hit.

That was the case here, and her punch did its job, stunning Chloe for a crucial second. A world of possibilities opened to her right away - ways to capitalize, moves she could use to lay her out. So many options, so little time to choose.

You know what? Chloe was a special girl. She deserved special treatment.

Sin had a dark laugh and ducked low, moving about and sliding behind the stunned Chloe, hiding in her blind spot. She only stayed on her feet for half a second before she leaped up and opened her legs, looking to wrap them around her opponent’s neck and get a tight grip.

From there, it all came like clockwork - she jerked backwards, pulled Chloe along with her, and attempted to hit her opponent with a reverse Frankensteiner, executing the first part of her signature move, the Dragon Coil.

True, a style like Taekwondo is more known for its kicks but far from a style that only uses it. Stuff like ITF style is more kickboxing oriented, adopting punches into its style while, although scarce, WTF uses punches while up close. That much Chloe knew. However, the fight has seen a lot of strikes coming from their legs rather than their arms, something one could use just to surprise the opponent and break the rhythm. Which is what happened to the blonde.

And she was caught hard. It wasn't like Sin's kicks, which what the only saving grace in terms of damage but the shock and stun made up for it. Punches can be thrown quicker. And it was Chloe's miscalculation not to take a simple thing like a straight cross be missing in her strategy against the Korean. And she was going to pay for it.

In a big way as it seemed.

Granted, Chloe wasn't going to be stunned for a long time, only for a second before her wits come together and caught the dark laugh from Sin. But in a fight where you're fighting someone as fast as Sin, who enbodies speed, a second is all she needed just to get her legs around the blonde's neck. Tight grip, seeinng the amethyst-pedicured toes before her and it wasn't hard to put two and two together. The sudden backward momentum that the ex-commissioner was experiencing added more to confirm what was going on. It would only be a matter of time before she would land onto the canvas. But doesn't have to be on her head.

Using the scant second she had just to throw her hands over her head so that those would be the first thing to hit the mat rather than her noggin, a brief moment where she is in a handstand, the crown of her head bumping slightly, though that couldn't be helped. Chloe wouldn't really be in a position to attack, rather push on the mat with her hands away from the Korean just to get back onto her two feet.

Chloe Mason vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Two of a Kind - Page 4 Empty Re: Chloe Mason vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Two of a Kind

Just because she could do a punch didn’t mean that Sin enjoyed them. There was a real reason she preferred to use her lower body instead of her upper, even though she trained to be able to use both - putting it blunt, she just liked the way a good kick felt with it landed. The sensation in her soles, the way a thunderous impact could send just about anyone reeling, how her body was capable of damaging even the biggest opponents in short order. It was the sort of thing she’d come to crave, and she was hellbent on getting her fill in this match. One way or another.

This suited her purposes. She was able to deftly maneuver around her foe, getting into a good position, and from there it was just a matter of getting her legs up, snagging Chloe from behind, jerking back and letting the magic happen. Bringing her up and down for one hell of an impact.

An impact that never happened.

Sin knew something was wrong right away, when there should’ve been an earth-shattering kaboom from Chloe’s head hitting the canvas. Instead, the landing was soft and sweet, which could only mean that her opponent got her hands up in time to absorb the impact. Slick. Sin wasn’t even sure she could pull that move off.

But it hardly meant she was going to let it slide. Sin unlocked her legs and moved forward on her hands and knees, rising as quick as she could. She didn’t want to take the time to turn around, knowing that might cost her a precious second, but she had another option for a situation like this.

Sin leaped up and threw her body into a sudden backflip, bringing her leg up and over in arc to execute the Pele Kick - a move that would, ideally, come crashing down on the top of Chloe’s head and knock her senseless. Assuming she was where Sin expected her to be. There was no way to know about that until the move was through, though, and she kind of liked the suspense of it all.

Even Chloe had her doubts that this could work but such doubts would have delayed her and not get the best timing out of that unique counter. Act just a bit too late and her skull would have crashed into the canvas hard. Timing was important, especially to get out of a tricky situation that could only get worse should it land.

Much to her relief, and perhaps much to Sin's chagrin, Chloe managed to evade danger by the skin of her teeth. Her own heart beating hard, the fact that the success of this going well was quite small so this was great for the blonde. However, that would be taken as a small victory. Chloe had known all to well that with the Korean, she wasn't done yet with attacks that could come from many angles. Just as she evaded one move, Sin came in with another. It doesn't help that she's fast with throwing her attacks too. There's just no end to it.

So the ex-commissioner was expecting something else but at the very least, Chloe planned not to let Sin get behind her again as she came up after the handstand. Her golden locks flicking back afterwards, her eyes following just to catch Sin's movements. And she would find her still in front of her. How nice. One less thing to worry about. But the Korean would perform something that would impress the American: a Pele Kick. Or Bicycle Kick for another name. Something she would do in this circumstance.

Sin's leg came up and over Chloe's head and the blonde leaned her upper body back, hands raised up, clear that she was going for a block but Chloe knew the block would be quite flimsy at best and wouldn't really stop something like a kick made to hammer her to the canvas. So she'd use it another way, letting her arms take most of the impact while the rest of the body slipped through to the side. But she wasn't going to keep dodging for that long while the Korean kept throwing attacks. Time to break the cycle. Hopefully with Sin still on the floor, Chloe lifted her leg up, almost reaching to her chest, lifted in a slight arch before sending an axe kick with the intent of keeping her down there.

It was poetry in motion. Sin was a natural with these moves, able to do them with minimal practice, and that showed when she executed the Pele Kick. Despite the fact that she’d only used the move a couple of times before, it gave off with perfect execution, a graceful arc. No flaws. No hesitation. Sin smiled as she pulled off, wishing she could see the look on Chloe’s face right after it hit. She couldn’t see it coming.

There was some irony here.

Sin knew she was in trouble the instant her kick hit air when it should’ve hit a face. She flopped down on her knees, which didn’t hurt at all, but meant that she was wide open, and she needed to know where Chloe was now. Right-the-fuck-now.

She turned her head in time to see her feet - or foot, rather, noticing that one of them wasn’t on the floor. Which meant that it was up. Above her. Coming down. Fast.

”Oh-”

The kick collided with Sin’s face and planted her flat on the floor, filling her vision with stars. Toughness was never really her thing, she’d always been better about avoiding hits than taking them, and this was a good showing of that. She wasn’t out of it, but that blow definitely took the wind out of her sails, and she needed a moment before she could start rising again.

There is a reason why it's best to look before you throw an attack. Whilst throwing a kick like this had its benefits, namely catching the opponent as quickly as possible, it also has its consequences if things go wrong. Unlucky for Sin, things did go wrong.

But an A+ for the execution at least.

Still, Chloe knew that if she got struck with the Pele Kick then she would be in massive trouble, but just dodging it and letting Sin fall on the floor. Like Sin, Chloe wouldn't hesitate. But unlike Sin, Chloe knows where her target is. Lifting her leg up, her red lacquered toes pointed up towards the heavens before her leg fell down, her foot came towards Sin with the intent of punishing her foolishness.

And that it did.

Colliding hard, she struck down the Korean, sending her down to the ground fully. And something ran up her spine, a good, satisfying feeling that had Chloe moan with ecstasy and passion, throwing her head back as she cried to the rooftops. Chloe knew all too well of that particular feeling, something which felt gratifying to her, the sensations on her soles, the fact she could bring even the biggest of opponents with her favoured weapons. She wasn't so sure which felt better but recently found a whole new feeling after bringing down fighters similar to her. And it's something she would crave, just going kick for kick and coming out on top.

Chloe didn't remove her foot from Sin's head for like a moment, letting her toes curl into those raven locks, the tips massaging her scalp soothingly before using it to turn her head so the Korean could look up at her, the heat generated from moving around the ring on her soles transfered onto her skin and warming her up. "I'll be having more fun with you soon. But for now..."

The same foot that pressed on Sin's head would raise up, her knee coiling up towards her chest, toes splayed wide, just to let her see the smooth sole hovering over her...and the sinister smirk etched on her lips.

"Goodnight."

"Chloe! Back off!"

Well whatever Chloe had planned would be interrupted by the referee shoving her away, causing Chloe to lose her footing and stumble, falling on her butt. Her eyes were wide and just in utter disbelief as she stared.

Really?

Really!?
