Reunions

Alaina felt Belinda lean back further and the added pressure really began to mount! she tried to use her arms to grab Belinda's legs and grip them at tightly as she could. Alaina tried to push herself backward into the hold as much as she could, hoping that trying to go along with the momentum would catch Belinda off guard and cause her to roll backwards. Alaina was hoping that using Belinda's momentum against her could finally free her from the hold that was torturing her at this moment. The pain was shooting from her neck down her back, with Alaina knowing full well a good deal of damage had just been done to her by it.

Belinda had a hold of Alaina and she wasn't about to let up on it easily, but it looked as if the Amazon had plans to change that, as she grabbed tightly onto Belinda's legs and began to move up, leaning back into Belinda's hold and then forced her feet off of the canvas, which made Belinda lose balance and forced her to roll backwards and off of Alaina!

She'd release a annoyed grunt at this, rolling back a bit more as she aimed to pull herself up towards her feet.

Alaina was slower to her feet, and a grimace of pain was clearly etched in her face as she got up. Alaina took a dep.breath as she tried to collect herself, arms up and she moved to close the distance with Belinda again!

The larger Alaina moved in for a grapple, but would try to catch Belinda off guard by dropping low at the last minute, sweeping Belinda's legs out from underneath her!

Belinda got up to her feet and readied herself as she looked on at her rival, watching Alaina start to rise up towards her feet as well. She would see those arms move up and stood ready to face Alaina.

Thinking that Alaina would go for a usual strength and overpowering manner that she was familiar with from her rival, she was caught off guard when Alaina dropped down low at the last minute in her charge towards her. Sweeping Belinda's legs out from under the Swede and taking her down onto her back on the canvas.

Alaina managed to pull off the leg sweep! Right now all she wanted to do was keep on top of Belinda. She decided to do so quite literally as she jumped up into the air and extended her elbow, aiming it right at Belinda's chest! Belinda was such a tough foe that she had to keep piling it on against her knowing full well that Belinda didn't stay down easily. She also knew that Belinda could rack up in impressive run in no time so keeping her defensive was just as important for that reason. One slip up could lead to disaster.

Belinda's eyes would widen when she saw that elbow coming down towards her, it was pretty much a staple of her arsenal to hit a downed opponent with an elbow....though this time it seemed Alaina wanted to use that against her. Sadly, Belinda didn't have the time to get out of the way.

The elbow of the Amazon drove right down into her chest, feeling it snap into her ribcage and the air in her lungs shoot out with a loud and heavy cough from the blond. Belinda would turn to her side and wrap her arms around her chest, coughing out from the sudden depletion of air.

Alaina landed the elbow drop and now had a few options open to her at this point. Alaina smiled and decided to try for another hold. This time Alaina came down next to Belinda, reaching out to grab one of Belinda's arms by the wrist to pull it back! She grit her teeth as her legs wrapped around the arm, allowing her to grab and pull to put Belinda in an arm bar. Alaina wanted to pull back and apply all the pressure she could do the arm, trying to keep the pace of the match grounded! The slower things were the better for Alaina when she faced someone as speedy as Belinda.

Belinda was caught by surprise from that elbow drop, causing the Swede to cough and gasp for air. As she would try and shield her chest, from further attacks. Though it seemed as if Alaina wasn't planning on going for her chest anymore, instead she took a hold of Belinda's arm and yanked it away from the blond's body.

Pulling it in for a painful armbar, pain shot through the Swede's arm up her shoulder. The blond would gasp as she kicked her feet down against the canvas, shaking her head as she began to struggle.

Alaina doubted that this would earn a submission, but right now she was putting Belinda through the ringer while she herself was keeping the match pace slower. Alaina could fly and move when she had to but she was no fool, Belinda was the faster more agile woman in the ring. Alaina kept up the pressure, applying all the force she could to Belinda to continue to inflict some punishment while wearing down the feisty Northman sister before her. Anything less than 100% even in a spar was just not enough against a foe such as her.

Belinda was feeling rather trapped right now, she could try and roll Alaina up, but she wasn't sure that was going to work. The other solution was to aim to get them towards the ropes, there was also trying to use those knee joints of Alaina against her, but...she had to decided on one soon or she'd be tapping out.

" Oi! What do we have here?"

A voice came from the side of the ring, as none other than Cecilia Northman had walked into the gym and headed up to the side of the squared circle. " Having a spat? Or just a spar huh?" Cecilia asked the duo in the ring.
