A sporty affair (for snappleR)

The tension was high between the two, and the match had not even begun yet. After a few verbal and gestural taunts, Daisuke began to prepare himself for the match. Fixing his boxers and stretching off, he didnt notice that little skank make her way towards his corner.

"Alright, lets wres-Oooooouuuffffffffff" before the prince could complete his statement, his opponent brought a knee up into his abs causing him to double over infront of her with his hands wrapped around his abs. Eventually he slumped onto one knee, the air knocked out of his lungs. "Uuhhh cheap shot" he moaned out, a little short of breath.

Daisuke fell to his knees, affording Amy the prime opportunity for another quick knee to his face. Then, never one to outstay a welcome, she danced toward the center of the ring, lightly bouncing on the balls of her feet. "Really? I didn't think so. I thought you might smell me coming."

"Why you,Oooouufffffffffffffff" spittle flew off the wrestling princes mouth as she caught him with another knee, this time to his face causing him to slump back into his corner turnbuckle. Dai was now down on his butt resting against the bottom turnbuckle. He quickly grabbed each side of the ring ropes and pulled on them to raise himself up.

"D-damnit" he hissed as he brought his hands up infront and took up a low wrestling crouch position as he started to circle Amy. "You're going to regret that, commoner"

"Yeah..." she agreed wistfully. It looked like she might have missed out on the chance for two or three more strikes there. She sniffed. Oh well.

Amy's guard stayed up, and she made sure to keep her distance from the warily approaching Prince, but when she spoke, her voice was even and sportsmanlike. "We haven't technically started, yet, huh. Are we playing vanilla rules? Pin or submission to win?"

Daisuke was a bit lucky, she could have done some more damage to him from that position but she had backed up and away from the corner and towards the middle, giving the prince the chance to get his bearings back and start to move to the middle.

"Hmph" he nodded "Yeah, pin or submission" he replied before quickly lunging in at the blonde female wrestler, looking to catch her off guard by lunging in for a quick collar and elbow grapple. "Hyyaahh!"

He was barely finished with his sentence before he launched himself at her. Amy backpedaled a second too late, and, consequently, a heavy hand found easy purchase around the back of her slim neck.

Note to self: If you're gonna make sneak attacks, don't get caught by your opponent's sneak attacks.

Rather than accept the lock up, Amy will duck and try and shoot both fists forward into Daisuke's midsection, trying to disengage herself from her larger opponent's grip.

Daisuke managed to get his opponent off guard, he quickly lunged in for the lock up and managed to get into a clinch with his opponent. He easily managed to push his opponent back a few steps but Amy was quick to duck below his large frame and make an exit strategy, leaving a couple of fists into his midsections on the way.

"Uurggh...Damnit" he hissed as he clutched his midsection for a second before quickly turning around to face his opponent, making sure she wont get the drop on him this time.

Amy was grateful to have been able to slip out, but would have liked to further capitalize on her escape. Unfortunately, by the time she was out of harm's way and ready to attack again, Daisuke was already back on the alert, eyes sharp.

Amy though knew that she couldn't afford to let up. She was very conscious of their enormous size difference; Daisuke could have been a side of cold ham, and she'd still be knocked flat if he fell on her wrong.

So Amy went on the attack. Putting her intermediate boxing training to good use, she stepped in close and sent a left jab, then a right hook to the waiting Daisuke's face.

Amy was quick on her feet, that was sure. She did some nimble footwork stances as she danced around him a bit in her boxing stance as she closed the gap between them throwing a jab to towards him "Urghh shit" he grunted out before clutching his side, this left his guard open and Amy went for a hook at his face. "Ooufffff" spittle flew off his mouth a bit when her fist struck his mouth. This got the wrestling prince dazed for a moment, although if she was still close enough he would shake his head and quickly lunge in to bring his knee up into her belly to catch her by surprise. "Hhyyaahh!"

Amy's punches slipped easily past the Prince's defense, each landing with a satisfying thwok, and Daisuke's groans were the perfect aural reinforcement. That, combined with his relative size, what she'd seen so far of his pompous personality, and her general distaste for this arrogant asshole, all made Amy feel... What was this feeling? Fulfillment?

Encouraged by Daisuke's grunts, Amy let loose three more sharp upper cuts into Daisuke's body, then hopped back... just in time for Daisuke's knee to go flying into the space she had just occupied. The attack was unexpectedly quick, and actually managed to clip the retreating girl's elbow on its way up- not painful, but certainly a surprise coming from a big guy teetering on defense.

Maybe I came on too strong, too fast, Amy realized. He's slow, sure, but he's cautious now, too, trying to catch me off guard. I'd have a better time of it if he went back to being slow and COCKY. Amy swallowed. Time for a little ego stroking.

"Shit!" She widened the distance a little more, trying to seem more wary than she actually felt. "That was close. Maybe not "Prince" close, but you're getting there." Easy does it.
