A little quick thinking, some gumption, and Stone was the one on top of Ryan, back in control. Her body crashed into him and brought them down with a thunderous and wondrous smash, even making the referee jump with the impact. She started to move in, expecting the pin count, but Stone wasn't quite ready for it. Ryan wasn't properly tenderized.

She popped up and shook her head, getting the sweat clear of her eyes as she sized him up. Stunned, but not so much that she could take her time. She had just the right tool.

Stone jumped up, rolled forward, and came down on Ryan with a somersault senton, dropping her back down hard on his chest.

Forget a wine bath, Ryan had a strong feeling that he was going to need an ice pack or two after all this. John would seeing as how he had exchanged blows against Mako, and Mr Knight didn't recall anyone who clashed against her and emerged unscathed. It wasn't looking good for the paragon of Britain.

And it wasn't going to get better right now, Stone was getting up and Ryan was taking a few deep breaths and trying to get himself back up. Although the next thing Mr Knight knew Stone had moved in the air, slamming right onto him back first.

Ryan groaned aloud, the sort of groan he did when Lucy was antagonising him to no end. Only a bit more strained under the weight of Stone, it knocked the wind out of the sails of Britain's paragon. For the second time in a row Ryan was left reeling, with the young man gritting his teeth and slamming a balled fist on the mat in frustration.

The crowd was wincing before Stone even made the impact, knowing full well how hard she was going to hit. That much weight, jumping that high, moving that fast? That was devastating power, and it was all coming down on one, prone opponent.

Stone was, as always, a little worried that Ryan might move out of the way and leave her with nothing to crash on but bare canvas, but she got lucky - her soft landing pad was still there by the time she touched down. The crash left him reeling, and when Stone stood up and looked over her shoulder, she saw a muddled mess of a man behind her.

She turned around reached down, grabbing him under the shoulders to get him standing again. Stone took hold of his wrist, twisted around and sent him running off to the corner with a sharp jerk, Irishing Whipping him away from Mako's side.

A thought was going through the mind of Ryan, well one besides the voice saying he was in pain. It was contemplating Ryan Knight pancakes, with his mug on them. Perhaps he should branch out, try and be the next James Bond down the line? It'd be worth it just to see the look on Mako's face when tension's biggest ham takes to the big screen.

"J-Just biding my time." Ryan muttered out to no one in particular, he was a bit dazed at this point. Stone had given him a double whammy combo just now, paragon or not no one would be the same just after it.

Although a hope spot had emerged Stone wasn't going for a pin attempt it seemed, no she was yanking Mr Knight up in a somewhat ungraceful manner. And then she wasted no time in slinging Ryan towards the ropes, he went along with the ride. Ryan grunted as his back collided into the turnbuckles, but it did have an upside. Stone was gonna have to charge right up at Ryan, come at him so to say.

Stone let out a short roar as she sent Ryan flying, just to get a little extra power into the move. It wasn't meant to show off or demonstrate her power - no, the actual crash would do that job just fine, as Ryan slammed into the ropes, backfirst, filling the ring with a low rumble on contact.

He was standing there in perfect position, an ideal sitting duck. Easy. Far too easy.  The risk was obvious, but that was game with this style. All in or none at all.

Stone broken into a run and dashed towards Ryan from half a ring away, bring her feet down hard with every step to completely sell herself to the move. She jumped up at the last moment with her arms spread out to come down on him with a massive splash.

Ryan wasn't liking his chances here, granted he could at least see Stone coming right at him. As if the nearby roar she did wasn't clear enough to where she was, if this kept up Mr Knight could see his chances of winning slip away. Of course there was always Mr Carnaby, who could have been feeling better.

There wasn't anytime to ponder that though, Stone was wasting no time in barrelling towards Ryan. He could have been a British pancake if this attack connected, the paragon of the United Kingdom gritted his teeth. It was time for a counter, and he needed one right now.

Ideally Ryan would try to fire out an elbow as his opponent came rushing in, but Stone was closing the gap too fast. In that case go to plan B, Ryan wrapped his arms around the ropes and leaned back on them. While at the same time moving his legs upwards, it was risky but if Mr Knight could pull this off he might be able to fire his knees upwards right into Stone's chin.

Stone ran, Stone leaped, Stone crashed. It was not pretty.

Things looked good. She'd dominated the match so far, she was controlling the pace, and after another two or three solid moves, she could possibly start thinking about sealing the deal and getting a real pinfall out of this guy.

That all turned to shit when she Ryan's knees, upthrust and waiting for her on arrival. She had just enough time to wince before they smacked her hard on the chin, with an impact so vicious that even Mako was left wincing.

Stone fell flat on her back after her flight was cancelled, and she grabbed her chin as she groaned.

John felt that impact from where he was at, and it reminded him of the fact that he was glad to be on the side of Mr Knight. Ryan was usually a man of honour and politeness, if a bit eccentric. But when he lost his shit, oh boy it wasn't very pretty to say the least. "Way to go boss, excellent counter." the master of creation said as he gave a thumbs up to Ryan.

The paragon of Britain looked down at Stone, and then turned to nod his head at John in acknowledgement. Ryan stopped Stone's momentum dead in it's tracks, thank God for that otherwise it would have been a whole lot worse.

But what to do now? Ryan would've gone up to the turnbuckle and try to leap atop Stone with a flying double footstomp. But the closeness of her to the corner meant that it wasn't very feasible, he'd need to do something else.

Deciding that he might want to go for a submission Ryan made to grab Stone by one leg and move her to the middle of the ring, and attempt to try and flip her over and attempt a one legged boston crab. If he could just stay on Stone and whittle her down then victory was most likely assured while John kept watch on Mako, after all it could only be a matter of time before everything spilled out again.

Stars danced across Stone's vision, her head throbbed, and she swore, her brain felt like it was floating around in a punch bowl. She couldn't even remember the trip she'd taken to get to this point. All she remembered was the elbow, the pain, and then she was on her back, staring up at the lights.

A blackout. Great.

She'd started to sit up, when she felt a hand around her, getting a firm grip. She was flipped over in the next moment, and she tried to scramble away, knowing no good could come of it. A nice try. But too late. Far too late.

Stone clenched her teeth hard to bite back the scream, as Ryan locked her in the second single-leg boston crab of the match, and Stone doubted it was any less painful for than Mako - the only difference was that she wasn't the type to call for back up. Powering out wasn't an option, which left her with the option of either enduring or escaping, and Ryan had the foresight of getting her to the center of the ring before he locked it in.

She balled her fists and started crawling, trying to pull Ryan along with her.

Ryan was taking control again, he had good ring positioning with this submission move. That counter just turned the tables, right back into the side of Britain's best. Mr Knight had to admit Stone was giving him a rough time, but it served as a reminder that there were big girls here in tension too. Just hard to find them was all.

The paragon of Britain kept his teeth gritted, and his eyes were narrowed to menacing slits. John was leaning forward in his corner watching the pair, holding his breath as the saying went. Anything could happen, and although the master of creation preferred a more controlled environment he had to also admit he was finding tag team matches to be quite enjoyable so far.

Ryan tried his best to keep the hold locked and on target, but Stone was just proving to be too darn strong. She was crawling forward like there was no tomorrow, a part of Ryan admired Stone's guts and endurance. He'd most likely be doing the same thing here if the roles were reversed, but Mr Knight still needed to keep the hold locked as best he could. At least till Stone got to the ropes, whereupon Ryan would promptly release her.
