SD 15 Main Event: Title Match - Reira Kirishima(C) Vs. Domino!

Julia had watched on with eagerness, and admittedly nervousness as Domino and Reira brawled outside the ring. But before long, he connected with a huge kick to the champ’s head, heavily dazing her!

And as he brought the action back into the ring and hoisted Reira upside down, an elated smile spread on Julia’s face as she inched forward onto the edge of her seat. She knew he was setting up for that deadly flip piledriver of his. And more importantly, she knew it was almost certain that if he hit this, a new world champion would be crowned tonight!

“You’ve got it, Drake! Finish her!”

All of the members of Thorns of a Rose had been watching the fight with baited breath. Aoi especially had been content to let Reira do as she pleased. After their last encounter, the girl seemed to have quite the big ego and the blue haired girl might have been content to watch her squirm away the title in Domino's finisher just for the chance to say she told her so...

However, there was no sense in being pettey,. Especially when one could be petty AND help the cause.

Aoi was already running down the ramp whn Reira was hoisted up. Aoi knew she didn't have to do much and so when she got to the apron, all she did was hop up onto it in clear view of the referee who immediately came over and began demanding she got off.

Aoi feigned confusion at the referee's outrage, even while her blue eyes twinkled in delight.

Domino was swinging Reira into position when the audience suddenly erupts into a chorus of boos and dismay, pausing him with Reira's upper-body hanging in front of him, her hips more or less on his shoulder. Going from wild cheering to, well, that is hard to miss, and he's pretty sure he's got Reira dead to rights. So what gives? His nerves tense immediately as the first thought enters his mind, and when he turns his gaze to the other end of the ring, he finds it validated.

His heart sinks.

A chick he doesn't know is interfering. And he's pretty sure it's not on his behalf. The referee has moved quickly to prevent her from entering the ring, it looks like, putting her back to Domino and Reira.

Reira shook her head, wondering just what was going on. She couldn't see Aoi, didn't realize the interference had Domino and the ref distracted, but it served her well.

Kicking her legs, Reira slipped herself off Domino's shoulder, dropping to one knee and, seeing the referee's back, quickly shot her arm up between Domino's legs to nail him in the groin. With him stunned, she stood up and turned him around to face her, grabbing him around his neck and kicking his legs out while dropping back, aiming to drive him face first onto the mat with her Reverse STO finisher.

Aoi at the ropes, Domino justifiably confused and caught between preparing for her to rush him and executing the finisher, Reira seems to've taken that split second to capitalize on the moment. She slips his shoulder and throws his balance - not that it mattered. She fires a forearm between his legs before he even has a chance to turn around.

"Ghhkk!"

The teen doubles over, unable to inhale. His mind is blanked, save for a numbing pain keeping him from standing upright again and the knowledge that Reira has just landed a punishing, illegal shot. He's turned over stiffly, wrapped up, and-

At the moment of impact, Domino's body falls limp. He's conscious, but unable to continue. He lies facedown on the mat beside her, one arm reaching out, the other at his side. He knows he's lost his chance; lost it to cheap tricks; to dirty cheating. Short of a miracle, his hopes and dreams are rapidly crumbling around him. Everything he's worked for, gone.

Reira laid on the mat for a few moments after dropping her opponent down, catching her breath before shoving the guys body over to his back and draping her own over it, looking over at the referee to start the count.

She had to admit, she underestimated the little bastard, but she was certain that now he was down and out for the count.

Whatever had caused the referee his momentary distraction, probably one of the Thorns, if Reira had to guess, must have left, as the ref girl turned back towards them and dropped down, slapping her hand on the mat to begin the count.

"One!"

Domino rolls over onto his back, splayed and limp. His eyes rest shut, mouth hung open and simply panting. He senses the harsh overhead lights through his eyelids, he hears the audience's outrage, and he feels Reira's weight drop over him.

"Nng.."

But he's lifeless beneath her. Each slap of the ref's hand against the mat feels like a nail driven into a coffin.

"Two!"

"Three!"

The final count was called, the bell was rung, and Reira heard her name being spoken by the ring announcer, stating her as STILL the AFW Tension Heavyweight Champion.

She stayed on the mat for a good minute or so, her music blaring, before she made her way up, the referee helping her up and handing her the title, raising her arm in the air as she celebrated her victory.

"Yes! Damn right! Still the champ!"

Julia watched in confusion as someone came running down the ramp, but she quickly picked up on what was going on when she distracted the ref.

"Drake, watch out!" She called out, but it was too late. The low blow connected, and Julia yelped as Domino was then spiked down right onto his head.

Her hands moved to cover her mouth, and she felt her heart sink as Reira pinned him for the three count. "No..." She muttered, watching in dismay as Reira celebrated her cheaply won victory.

Once Aoi saw Reira was about to turn things around. By the time the three count hit, she was already backstage. She wanted to have a taste of that champagne chilling in the Thorns' celebration room.
