Personality: Goto is respectful and well meaning enough. Outside of the ring and away from fighting, he is amicable and even a bit charismatic. However, he certainly is not shy about boasting and is quite keen to show off his physique. Although he can be quite the charmer around pretty women, he also has some mysoginistic tendancies and feels that in a physical competition, a woman would not beat a man. He believes it is a woman's duty to raise children while the man provides for them.


Past/History: Goto's family has a history of physical weakness. His grandfather and father both lacked stamina throughout their lives and were often bedridden. Goto seemed to have been born with the same affliction. Everyone was surprised when he made it to a year old and he spent most of his second year bedridden. However, as he grew, he became more determined to fight the weakness inside of him and, with the encouragement of his mother and father, became as athletic as he could.

It was a slow process at first, doing little things like trying to eat healthy and being as active as possible, but little by little he became strong enough to join in other activities for brief periods of time. Goto joined a karate dojo and was encouraged by his sensei. Falling in love with it, he quickly went from being barely able to train, to becoming one of the best students in the dojo.

Once Goto became healthy, he never looked back. He felt as though he had conquered his family's curse and didn't want to waste the opportunity or his hard work.He especially knew he couldn't fail when, not long after his sister Natsuko was born, his father had finally lost his battle with his weakness and died. Being the only man in the house made him feel invigorated and he pursued athletics while maintaining good grades and popularity all throughout his school days.

His hard work and dedication had led him to win many karate competitions and he was considered one of the best in the world in Karate. However, he saw the way the world was changing. During his time on the top, Mixed Martial Arts had become hugely popular and Goto wanted to change with the times. His first few amateur bouts did not go as well as his karate debut, but he continued to work, training to try and become more well rounded.

However, his sister would help make another life decision for him. When she decided to join the AFW as a wrestler, Goto was determined to put a stop to it. He was glad Natsuko had been athletic, and was pleased that she had also overcome the family curse, but now that she was becoming a young woman, he felt she needed to go to a proper university and find a husband. It was time for her to settle down and continue the Arisawa lineage, not join some wrestling league on a frivolous whim. One in which she would most likely be facing off against men. He wasn't going to allow his baby sister to get hurt and quickly signed up as well, determined to show her that her choice was not a good one.

Fun facts:
-Goto was born Fujio Arisawa, but felt it was a weak name. He took the name "Goto" after his very first instructor in karate, who was a strong, vibrant man. Along with his parents, he was the biggest influence in overcoming his sickness.

-Goto is actually a very good cook. Having tried cooking to help eat as healthy as possible in an effort to remain strong, when his father passed, and he was the only man of the house, he continued to cook for his mother and younger sister.

-Fearing that his sister might also be afflicted with weakness, Goto encouraged her at an early age to be active, and made sure to be a good role model for her.

-Hates Spiders. He once woke up with one in his mouth. If he's in public, he'll try and act tough, but he might start sweating and may get suspiciously nervous.

-Prefers being barefoot whenever possible. His feet are calloused so even hard ground and rocks aren't much trouble for him. In that vein, one of his favorite activities is walking through nature. He also loves camping and anything outdoorsy.
