Suzumi hadn't had the hold reversed for long when the referee called for a rope break! She let go immediately, backing off to allow Kyo up to his feet. Suzumi stood defensively at the center of the ring, ready for Kyo. She beckoned him forward, daring him to make a move....

Suzumi was confident that she could reverse his offense, demoralizing him a bit. However, overconfidence could be just as bad for Suzumi herself....

Slowly, Kyo rolled back to his feet, his legs still smarting a little after that brush with a figure four. As he stood back up, he eyed Suzumi carefully as she beckoned him onwards, noting the way she was daring him to make a move. He stared her down, and decided to take her up on her offer.

Darting forwards, Kyo rushed at Suzumi, pretending to go for a clothesline. At the last minute, however, he would duck low, aiming to dart in behind Suzumi and knock her down with a solid drop kick!

As Suzumi got to her feet she saw Kyo rushing right at her! She readied herself for a clothesline, blading herself off and preparing a shoulder thrust to his sternum, but he had other plans. These plans assuredly did not bode well for Suzumi! As Kyo went under and around her planned clothesline counter, she turned just in to to catch his dropkick square to her chest!

"Argh! Damn it!" Suzumi growled as she let herself get caught by her crafty opponent! She laid on her back, clutching her chest, writhing in pain on the mat for a moment before she slowly began to work her way up to her feet. Kyo was gonna get it....

Kyo felt a brief moment of elation as Suzumi fell for his counter, and went tumbling to the mat. A part of him couldn't believe it. He was wrestling against a Wrestle Angel, AND holding his own against her! He tried to stay focused on the match, though. Now was the worst possible moment for him to be a fanboy.

Suzumi was already staggering back to her feet as Kyo got up to his. Moving in to snag her in a side headlock, Kyo tried to grab the back of her thigh and lift her in a quick and effective suplex-- assuming, that was, that Suzumi didn't counter his move somehow.

Suzumi felt herself get grabbed around the head by Kyo, bringing her hands up to pry at his powerful grip! Her struggles were for naught as Kyo quickly and fluidly grabbed her behind her leg and lift her up. He had power, a secure hold and acted quickly. Not good for someone who normally thrived on reversing their opponents moves!

Suzumi let out a shout of pain as she was suplexed hard to the mat, grabbing her head in her arms to cradle it as she rolled onto her side. Suzumi was feeling the effects of that and was barely stirring on the mat. Kyo had skillfully maneuvered his way into the drivers seat of this match. The momentum was his and Szuumi was in a lot of pain after being dropped on the back of her head....

Kyo's heart was pounding as he successfully executed the suplex on Suzumi, leaving her curled on her side in pain. Taking a quit note of his opponent's situation (and successfully avoiding being distracted by her shapely form), Kyo momentarily considered going for a pinfall, but decided against it. Suzumi had touted herself as a submission expert, and so if this was going to be a contest of submissions, then Kyo was game.

Rolling Suzumi onto her front, he tried to lie across her back, cupping her chin and pulling back on it while scissoring her arm. "Lets make this a contest of submissions, then?" he offered, remaining unfailingy polite even as he executed a submission hold. "I'm up for the challenge if you are, Ishikawa-san."

Suzumi let out a cry as she felt her head getting wrenched back in Kyo's clutches! She struggled against the crossface which was incredibly difficult since her arms were trapped, and her whole body seemed to be shooting with pain! Her legs were free, so she would have to try to make something happen from there!

Suzumi squirmed about, trying to somehow use her legs to try to push the two closer to the ropes. She howled out in pain once more, the effects of this hold quickly mounting. The worst part is Suzumi was a submission wrestler, so being stuck at the mercy of another wrestlers hold was a lovely mix of embarrassing and insulting. After a few moments in this hold, with her legs pushing them towards the ropes she would reach out with her leg for the bottom rope, and her release from this tormenting hold! Suzumi was smart enough to realize that even with a rope break the toll had been taken on her, and focused holds to the same area would likely spell a quick tap-out from the Tsunami.

Kyo heard Suzumi give a muffled cry as the Tsunami twisted and squirmed in his grip. It was reassuring to be in control at such an early stage of the match, to see that he was now holding his own against a submission expert like Suzumi. Gritting his teeth, he leaned back, torquing the hold further until Suzumi's violet hair brushed against his chin. With one arm trapped between his legs, Suzumi was only able to paw uselessly at his grip with one free hand.

"No shame in tapping out, Ishikawa-san," he offered. Suzumi made no reply, but continued to twist and squirm-- rapidly manouevering her legs towards the ropes. Before Kyo could prevent it, she snagged one boot on the bottom rope, breaking the hold.

Sighing, Kyo stood up, grabbing Suzumi by the arm to hoist her up. "My offer still stands, Ishikawa-san," he said. "A battle of submissions between us, for these two out of three falls? I'm game if you are." Waiting a few seconds for a reply or a nod, Kyo then yanked on Suzumi's arm and whipped her across the ring. He then followed up, aiming to nail her with a boot to her chest or midsection...unless, that was, Suzumi had a counter of her own in mind...

Suzumi breathed a sigh of relief as the rope break came.  It didn't come soon enough as Suzumi knew the damage and been done.  Suzumi was pulled up to her feet.  She wearily looked up at Kyo as he spoke.  "That's fine with me, its your funeral after all..."  Suzumi said as confidently as she could given the amount of pain she was in.

Suzumi was whipped into the ropes and bounced off, seeing Kyo setting up to deliver a boot directly to her pretty face afterwards!  Suzumi wasn't about to let that happen....  She moved to the side, jumping up to wrap her legs around Kyo's head from the side!  Suzumi reached over and yanked on Kyo's arm, pulling it behind his back to try to catch him in a surprise octopus stretch!  "Like, I totally hope you thought your offer through!"

As Suzumi went running, Kyo was ready, lashing out with a boot...only for Suzumi to elegantly dodge the blow. Surprised, Kyo narrowly avoided losing his balance, but by that point, Suzumi was already behind him. Before he could spin around, her legs latched around his head, and her hands clamped around his wrist to wrench his arm back! In an instant, his arms and shoulders were being stretched painfully in an octopus stretch!

"MMMRPH!" came his muffled cry as Suzumi stretched him sideways, her legs gradually forcing his upper body downwards. His shoulders and neck were beginning to sear with pain, and his efforts to wrench his limbs free proved to be in vain. In this position, he couldn''t throw Suzumi off either-- the best he could do was struggle to remain standing, as the moment the two of them were grounded, Suzumi would be able to tighten her hold. As much as it pained Kyo to admit it, the Tsunami had gotten him good.
