Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu - Page 6 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

Suzumi fell to the mat in a heap, gasping for breath as she tried to recover. However, Kyo was all over her and had her caught yet again before she was able to react! She had no idea he was this tenacious! Suzumi cried out again, her voice echoing. Suzumi saw the ropes and began to crawl, working her way slowly over to the ropes. They seemed like they were miles away as Suzumi crawled, making slow progress.

She saw the ropes within reach and was at her breaking point. Suzumi reached out to grab the ropes but her hand fell about a foot short. It was then that the sheer agony of the hold surged throughout her whole body and her hand began to rapidly tap the mat! Suzumi was submitting to Kyo evening things out. Worse, Kyo now had the momentum while Suzumi was the one who had a hole to climb out of in order to even the odds and have a shot at claiming victory today. She lay on the mat, trying to recover, going over a gameplan for the rest of the match. If anyone could climb out of this hole and get Kyo to submit again it was Suzumi.

Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu - Page 6 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

Kyo was breathing hard now, sweat dripping down his cheeks and nose as he wrenched back at Suzumi's leg, bending both it and her slender back as far as they would allow. He could hear the Tsunami screaming against the floor of the mat, but even then, she kept tenaciously dragging them towards the ropes. For a moment, Kyo thought that this wouldn't be enough, and that Suzumi would somehow manage to grab the ropes in time.

Finally, however, he heard Suzumi tap the mat, signalling her submission. With a sigh of relief, Kyo released the Tsunami, before tumbling onto his back, breathing hard. He waited a little to catch his breath, before moving to get back up again. In the back of his mind, he could barely contain his disbelief or excitement: he had just made Suzumi "the Tsunami" Ishikawa tap out!

Suzumi's chest heaved as she tried to recover from the hold. She laid on the mat for a few moments before working her way up to her feet again. She was hurting and knew she had her work cut out for her. She could do this, or so she told herself. She bounced up and down a bit before the bell rang again!

Suzumi moved in and tried to grapple with Kyo again, this time trying to wrap Kyo up from behind in a full nelson hold! If Suzumi could, she wanted to throw a bit of a surprise at him, attempting a full nelson suplex on the bigger man! Pulling such an endeavor off against a skilled wrestler like Kyo though would prove to be very difficult though....

Kyo was watching Suzumi carefully now as she stood back up. The look she was giving him told him that she was going to take him a lot more seriously now, and was now willing to visit a lot more pain upon him to pick up the win. Kyo met her stare with one of his own, one that told her that he wasn't afraid of her or her big reputation, and he was willing to prove that tonight. The crowd picked up on this staredown, and cheered and clapped as the final fall began.

In an instant, Suzumi was moving, charging at him in a flash of flowing purple hair. Kyo darted forward to meet her, but instead of a grapple, Suzumi darted behind him at the last minute, twisting his arm painfully behind his back! Wincing, Kyo reacted too late as Suzumi arched back, nailing him with a suplex. "UGH!" he grunted as he crashed back first into the mat, momentarily stunned.

Suzumi hit home with the duplex and even though she was aching, tired and worn down she couldn't allow herself to stop there! She maneuvered herself towards Kyo's back, and sat down on his backside, reaching her hands down underneath his chin to try to put him in a camel clutch!

"Ungh! Come on Kyo.... you can't possibly take much more of this can you?!" Suzumi shouted out, as she wrapped Kyo up, hoping that he would not be able to withstand much more! However, deep down Suzumi knew better... this was not going to come so easily...

Kyo's eyes were shut as he gasped for air, arching sideways after being nailed by the surprise suplex. In his current state, he was unable to prevent Suzumi as she pushed him over, sitting down on his back to press him to the mat. If Kyo were more inclined towards trash talk, he would have sniped at Suzumi about being heavier than she looked. Before he could even say anything, though, his chin was cupped, and his head was wrenched back in a painful camel clutch.

"Aaagh!" he cried, despite himself, feeling pain shoot down his spine. Hearing Suzumi taunt him, he gritted his teeth. "Was...going to...ask you....the same...question!" he managed to say, before grabbing Suzumi's wrists. If he managed that, he would try to flip her over him onto her back, before trying to wrap her up from behind in a full nelson.

Suzumi pulled back as hard as she could but felt his hands grip her wrists! She did her best to resist but she wasn't able to match strength with Kyo. As he freed himself and sent Suzumi forward she let out a scream as she smile through the air and landed on her back! "Oomph!" Suzmumi's eyes widened as she knew she was getting caught in something else, finding herself caught in a full nelson!

"Argh.....damn it!" Suzumi muttered, angry at herself for getting stuck!

Kyo held his breath as he managed to lock in the full nelson, bending Suzumi's slender arms backwards. He was lucky to escape that camel clutch, he knew, and if he could just maintain the pressure in this fall, he would be sure to pick up the win. Easier said than done, he knew, against an opponent of Suzumi's caliber.

"Ready to give up, Ishikawa-san?" he asked. As he would spoke, he would try to transition his hold into a lotus lock, locking his ankles behind Suzumi's head as he scissored her trapped arms...though that might give Suzumi an opportunity for escape or reversal.

Suzumi knew she was in a bad spot as Kyo began his transition. Suzumi had a bit of wiggle room and tried to block the maneuver although Kyo was a smart wrestler: He knew how to transition and limit any room for error!

Suzumi however was no slouch. As he moved into the lotus lock she shift her body to the right, yanking her arm away from him as best she could! He had her left arm wrapped up with his legs but not her right which took away a lot of pressure on the hold, as well as giving Suzumi a free arm! "Ngh... almost!" She said as she began to swing her elbow back to her right looking to hit any part of Kyo over and over in an attempt to get him to let go of her!

Kyo focused his breath, slowing it down and stabilizing his heart rate as he snapped his legs shut around Suzumi's arms. The Tsunami was quick, however, managing to twist to avoid getting one of her arms trapped. Kyo frowned in annoyance, but adapted on the fly, focusing his hold on just the one arm and bending and twisting it painfully in an armbar.

With an arm free, however, Suzumi was still dangerous, and she quickly proved it, jabbing an elbow back hard into his chest. Kyo gagged as the elbow smacked against his ribs, and he instantly released Suzumi as he rolled sideways, clutching his chest. "D..dammit..."
