Suzumi felt her legs being wrapped up quickly and precisely. Before she could act she felt a surging, intense pain shooting through her legs and up her back! "AHHHHHHHH! L-let go! Unghhhh!" She shouted, screaming unabashedly as the devastating hold was locked in!

Suzumi wildly scrambled, clawing at the mat and trying to think of a way out. Her brain was wracked as her body was struggling to handle the pain. She saw ropes ahead and planted her hands on the mat, doing all she could to claw at the canvass to drag them over! Panic set in and she tried dragging frantically, reaching out as they slowly drew closer.... much too slowly for Suzumi's taste! She reached out again with her arm and if it fell short, of the rope she wasn't going to last one second longer in the hold!

Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu - Page 9 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

Kyo felt a pounding in his temples, and wondered if it was his heart or the rhythmic stomping of the crowd. Everyone knew what was coming, and a sense of finality came over the ring. Never in his wildest dreams did Kyo think he would be fighting a Wrestle Angel; very soon, he was about to force one to submit.

Feeling Suzumi pulling them towards the ropes, Kyo took a deep breath and leaned against her, cupping his hands around her chin. "It's over now, Tsunami," he whispered before leaning back, hoping to complete the move by elevating Suzumi's slender body above his in his trademark Romero special, tucking her head back under his armpit as he bent her into almost a C-shape. The crowd went wild as Suzumi's slender body was arched and stretched in an elevated position, pouring immense pressure into her back and neck. Even Suzumi's most hardcore fans must have realized, at this point, that there was no escape for their heroine.

Suzumi's cries of pain went from loud to downright ear splitting at the hold was locked in! She was now desperate and willing to do anything to escape this hold! She had to get her head free then the rest of her in order to alleviate all the pain she was feeling. She tried to shake her head, which on its own was proving fruitless.

In an act of desperation she reached up and tried to grab at Kyo's face any way she could! She would grab, pull and claw away at him and wriggle her body about in a last ditch effort to free herself! IF that meant her nails digging into Kyo's eyes, then so be it!

Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu - Page 9 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

Kyo heard Suzumi's muffled scream as her head was smothered under her armpit, holding his breath as he tried to keep the delicate submission hold in place. It was taking a lot of exertion on his part, both to maintain the dragon sleeper that was bending Suzumi's head back at a painful angle, and to keep his legs pointed upward while keeping his boots interlocked with Suzumi's. The red and-white clad body of the beautiful Japanese superstar was being wrenched and curved to its most flexible limits, and it was only a matter of time before she gave up or passed out.

That was what Kyo thought, at least...until Suzumi reached one of her free arms back, blindly probing against Kyo's body before finding his face and clawing against it. Kyo cried out in pain as Suzumi's nails scraped across his face, put those cries became louder as she somehow managed to jab them into his eyes. "AAAH!" he screamed, his limbs jolting and causing his hold to unravel. He was forced to let Suzumi topple to the mat next to him as he rolled onto his side, kicking at the mat as he clutched his hurting eyes. "NNNNNNGH..."

Desperation and putting winning first led to Suzumi using tactics that were less than clean. A good deal of the crowd booed her for it, but her die hard fans cheered her escape! She was hurting and barely able to move. She knew Kyo wouldn't be stunned for very long. She gave everything she had into moving behind him. Every movement hurt, so if this tactic failed she knew she was dead in the water. She took a few deep breaths trying her best to collect herself as she acted!

Suzumi wrapped her legs around Kyo's waist, and her arm around his neck, forcing his head back! She locked in the Tsunami Sleeper, this time getting it secure! They were in the middle of the ring, so if Kyo wanted to escape it would be very difficult to do this time around! Suzumi let out a scream as she wrenched down on Kyo as hard as she could! She herself wouldn't be able to keep the hold locked in very long, so she had to make the pain as intense as possible as quickly as possible!

Kyo eyes watered in reaction to the stinging pain as he rolled away from Suzumi, his boots kicking at the mat as he clutched his eyes. He hadn't expected Suzumi to resort to an eyerake, and in all honesty, that was only the second time an opponent had escaped the Akamatsu Crippler. Half-breathing, half-sobbing, Kyo tried forcing his eyes open. His lids parted to stinging pain, but a few rapid blinks reassured him that he wasn't blinded or bleeding.

He wasn't allowed to appreciate this, however, before Suzumi's slender body rolled against his. In an instant, Kyo once again felt her strong legs clamping around her waist, and her arm around his throat. Gagging, he felt his head wrenched back, and felt a sudden sense of deja vu-- just as he had been bending Suzumi's head back painfully and compressing it while he had her in the Crippler, so too was his head now being bent and squeezed in a Dragon Sleeper! His muffled scream mirrored Suzumi's as pain lanced through his neck and upper back, his neck muscles feeling like they were tearing at the seams.

He tried to pry away at Suzumi's arms, his hands furiously pawing at her elbows in a desperate effort to claw his way free. His breaths were quickly reduced to muffled gasps as he tried to reach out with a leg, failing to find any robes in easy reach. Even as Kyo's fit body was arched back by the hold, the audience around them went wild. Both wrestlers were on their last legs, but in what looked like a major upset, Suzumi now looked like she was on the verge of snapping Kyo in two...

Suzumi knew the double hold from the Tsunami Sleeper was painful, and it constricted the opponents air flow. Suzumi let out a loud scream as she gave her submission hold everything she had, wrenching down on Kyo's mid-section with her legs, as well as tightening up on his throat with her arm! She managed to keep the hold locked in and wondered if Kyo was going to pass out or give in the the pain first.....

Suzumi knew if he didn't do either one soon she couldn't keep up the pressure needed to maximize the effect of the Tsunami Sleeper on her bigger foe. Even though she was now in control she was still spent. Kyo had taken everything she had and kept going, so saying that Suzumi was worn out was a very accurate understatement!

Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu - Page 9 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

There was a sense of finality in the air as Suzumi locked in the hold. The audience was on the edge of their seats now: many in the crowd were cheering for Kyo to escape, but many more were now chanting "TAP, TAP, TAP!" over and over again, eager to see their heroine Suzumi pick up the win. To Kyo, though, it was all background noise as he struggled against Suzumi's submission hold.

"NNNNGH..." His head, tucked as it was under Suzumi's arm, was beginning to swim from the lack of circulation, which combined with the pain he was in to make him feel horribly dizzy. He fought frantically to escape, pawing uselessly at Suzumi's arms, and trying to roll them closer to the ropes. He only managed to roll the two of them onto their sides, however, reaching uselessly for distant ropes, before he felt himself growing weaker. His laboured breathing became shallower as pain and lack of air began to overwhelm him.

"Kyo!" He realized that the shout had come from the ref girl, who was leaning close to them. "Kyo, do you give?"

"NO!" he shouted back, though the sound was muffled by Suzumi's arm. Even as he said that, though, he felt his body starting to shut down. His ability to resist was done for: he could endure the pain as best he could, even keep going until he inevitably passed out...but that wouldn't change the outcome. Not now.

Slowly, and weakly, he leaned an arm against the mat and tapped his hand against it, signalling his submission.

Suzumi had kept the hold locked on Kyo for what felt like an eternity. Then, she heard the ringing of a bell. She was unaware the Kyo had tapped out until that bell rang, coupled with the referee telling her that it was over. She let go of the hold and flopped back against the mat, rolling to her side. The crowd cheered as she was announced as the winner, but she was too tired to even stand up to have her hand raised. She was out of breath, and her whole body felt like it still hurt.

"G-great match Kyo...." She said weakly, but as loudly as she could muster at the time. Really, she thought it was one of the best matches she had ever been a part of. She slowly worked her way to her hands and knees, still panting for breath as she was helped up by the referee. Suzumi held a hand high as the crowd again roared, and she blew them a couple kisses. Suzumi gave everyone a playful wink or two, and rocked her hips back and forth to play to their chanting. However, when that was all said and done she knelt next to Kyo. "Are you all right?"

Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu - Page 9 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

At this point, Kyo felt like he was on the verge of passing out-- he could barely breathe, and his neck felt like it was being twisted back almost to breaking point. The pain caused his eyes to water, a grey haze descended across his vision. Finally, though, the bell rang, and Suzumi released the hold.

Wordlessly and breathlessly, he flopped over onto his front, his eyes closed and his breathing shallow. He was barely aware of the world around him anymore, and was only dimly aware, in the back of his mind, that he had lost. Right now, he didn't care-- he just wanted to rest.

After a few seconds, though, he became aware of Suzumi repeating his name. Groaning, he blinked rheumily, and rolled onto his side. "Whaa..." His mind slowly began to adjust as he fought to remain conscious. Suzumi was leaning over him, a genuine look of concern on her face, and he cracked a weak smile. "I've...had worse..."

Not quite untrue, though at the same time, this was the first time he had been defeated by a dragonsleeper-- something that he had always incorporated into the Akamatsu Crippler. So that's what that feels like, he thought, noting that his neck was throbbing in pain, and it was difficult for him to move right now.
