Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

Ryan had taken several hard shots over the course of his career, from that crazy match back in China's indie circuit to what he had just been through. The Canadian Destroyer there might have just shortened the paragon of Britain's career, in spite of the inexorable image that the young man had so often portrayed thus far. Indeed it had looked hard to watch, in a similar vein to Shane McMahon vs Kurt Angle with the infamous belly to belly suplex. As tough as Mr Knight was he was pretty much out at this point, his only movements being light breathing in and out. Sion, either wanting to add insult to injury or ensure the tag champ would stay down the male Canadian had dragged the unmoving small foreign car that was Ryan to the nearby corner and applying some form of hold.

Normally Mr Knight would be emoting a bit more, and could probably come out with some form of escape after a few seconds. But given that he was just spiked right on his head the paragon of Britain was more or less out at this point, all Ryan gave was a few twitches as his body naturally responded to the pressure being applied.

Speaking of out of it John just slammed Daisuke right down to the mat with severe aggression, with impunity. Retribution, it didn't matter the feeling. But all that mattered was the artist took the stubborn Canadian and there was the distinct heavy thud that was associated with a hard powerhouse move, inwardly John had wondered if even this attack focused on the targeted weak point of Daisuke would incapacitate her.

As it turned out it had, Daisuke had hit the mat hard with the guidance of Mr Carnaby. The opponent was laid out, probably pondering just what the hell hit her there. The impact itself probably wasn't as comparable as what Ryan had been hit with, but John's relentless pursuit of the head had paid off. The artist heard Lina shouting though he simply rolled his eyes, though what now?

There was an opportunity, Sion was still focusing on Ryan. Normally the artist would rush to his boss's aid, but Ryan just wasn't moving. In a second John had deduced that Ryan was out, but the male Canadian was out the ring. The master of creation knew what to do, in an instant he made to grab the nearest ladder and prep it in the centre of the ring. Taking the side further from the enemy John would proceed to go up the first step, the young man saw the chance to try and seal the deal. Before it was too late!

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

Lina's cries out to Daisuke were ones that would go unheard by the intended recipient. Face down, all she could feel was the blood dripping down her face. Having it lay in what was forming to be a pool of that combined with sweat it stung, but she couldn't do anything but lay there and take it. She didn't want this to be how things ended, for not only did she and Sion work very hard to get here, so did those who were in their corner. There was a tiny bit of moment in one of her legs, nothing more than a twitch however, before thing became limp again. She wanted to move, but her body wouldn't let her. She came close last time, and even though she could not process it she did have some close calls here tonight. She gave it all that she could, but looked like it may have been for nothing. As John set the ladder up and began to climb, the only movement her messed up face could produce was a very quiet "Sion..." and one wouldn't be able to make out unless if their ears were right next to her mouth, but even then.

Sion was outside for only a couple of seconds before he applied the rest of the move on the side, but he was right against the corner with Ryan, holding him in place, stretching him in the process. As Sion held Ryan in place he glanced towards the action near the middle of the ring. He saw Daisuke down and pretty much out of it. When he took a more detailed look a few seconds later he saw John about to begin his climb to the top. He saw John moving up and Sion was ready for him.

He waited until John took another step or two before springing into action. He released the hold he had on Ryan and bolted for the laddder. When he got close to it he opted not to attack him nor the ladder, but climb up the other side. If John made a reach for the gold Sion would look to grab the hand before John could get close enough to touch the belts. He would then look to deliver a punch to John's face. With both Ryan and Daisuke out of the picture it looked like it was going to come down to the two of them.

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

Ryan was more or less out of it at this point in time, the added pain being applied to him by Sion could be seen as more of an insult right now. Granted the male Canadian was probably just wanting to make sure that the paragon of Britain who so often fought even when placed in painful holds such as what was currently occurring to him. But the Canadian Destroyer on the steel ladder had turned the proverbial lights off on Mr Knight, the only redeemable thing regarding this was at least Ryan wasn't feeling it. That and perhaps it was buying John time as Ryan was being cinched in a hold by the more capable member of the enemy team.

Still though it'd probably have been a matter of time before Sion caught wind of what was happening, after all the ladder wasn't something you couldn't easily keep out of someone's POV for very long. But the master of creation had thrown subtlety to the wind, this was now or never. Daisuke was out of it, all that damage to the head would serve to keep her down. And John looked up above, the gold shining with the lights near it. His body felt like a led weight with all that had happened, but seeing those precious belts inspired the artist to continue climbing.

As luck would have it he was getting close, just a bit more and John could get in grabbing range. Just then though the crowd loudly popped, and suddenly Sion was there. "Oh shit!" John shouted, the male Canadian coming more out of nowhere than an RKO. Swatting the artist's hand away like he was reaching for the freshly baked cookies, this wasn't good. Sion delivered a potato right on the artist's head, John grunted loudly and sticking his head away. Looking down at the mats below, suddenly Mr Carnaby realised just how high up he was. His eyes widening.......

Knowing that it'd ideally be best not to take a fall John would seek to fight back, fuelled by how close he was. John would move his body back up and seek to potato Sion on the top of the head with a brain chop, the term down to the wire couldn't be more applicable at this point. The fight to grab the belts was at the end, it would be settled here and now. One way or another........

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

From the girls' view on the outside it was becoming too close for comfort. They saw Sion taking a downward chop to the forehead and it looking like he might down a step. He managed to hold on his position though, a bit shaken up by the blow but he was determined to hang on and fight back. Gritting his teeth as he pulled himself back towards John after being taken back a little bit by the blow he would reach over and instead of a fist this time he looked to fire away a bionic elbow. Whether it was a matter of recalling how him trading shots with Ryan earlier down below and it might not being a good idea to go with what would usually be expected, or if his brain was acting on its own, he knew he couldn't lose this duel up here, not at this point anyway. If he lost and fell it wouldn't matter whether he feel inside the ring or outside, recovery in time wouldn't be feasible, and with the state Dai was in it would surely be game over. He didn't want to even think that John would be thinking the same way for his side. All Sion cared up right now was keeping John away from what was hanging above them both.

As Daisuke laid there, while she could not find the power to lift herself up, her brain was still functioning and she could hear some noise around her. She couldn't process the sounds of the crowd as that. For all she knew something could be going on right beside her and it was sounding like from farther away. Lina and Lita could hear the crowd on both sides of the coin reacting to what was happening before them. Part of them wanted to join them, but they decided to stay quiet and just watch.

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

The location for the exchange was a very dangerous one, but the entire match up to this point had left everyone involved certainly going to require medical attention. John wanted to win, Sion wanted to win. Both were the only ones capable of ascending the steel ladder and claiming the glory that awaited above, it was a tooth and nail affair now. No chairs, no kendo sticks or even much room to move. There was only one course of action, batter the other and knock them off. A singular mindset.

John had risen up a bit from his side of the ladder, to try and get himself into a better position to claim the titles once the male Canadian had fallen to his doom. The brain chop didn't strike Sion down though, the artist was going for the centre of the head. A better target to hit for, but as the master of creation made to go for a play Sion bashed him with a bionic elbow.

"Guhn......" John grunted out, little lights shone in his vision. He slumped down a bit, still though his legs remained on the ladder and his left hand stayed on the top of the ladder. That hit was unexpected, perhaps the man of WhiteGale decided to deliver some innovative offence of his own. John gritted his teeth and decided to return the favour, balling his fist and trying to punch Sion hard in his neck/solar plexus area. As for Ryan, the man had gone right to his limit. And currently was simply just a heap in the corner right now, but with his partner in position to snag the gold it might not matter. What happened next was totally up in the air however, could Sion succeed in this clash?!

With how John responded, part of Sion felt like wanted to gag out right there and then. Who wouldn't feel good taking a shot to the throat like that. He managed to hang on but from what the girls watching on the outside could tell that one came pretty close to doing the job of taking him out of the picture. They were trying to stay calm and collected but with each passing second it was getting harder and harder. They saw him take the shot and move back and down a bit, but not enough to fall. Good thing he had a good grip on the ladder or else he would have fallen for sure. But he pulled himself back close to the ladder and looked back up at John.

Sion felt like if that last one almost took him down he better do unto John before John does unto him. Looking like he might go for an open hand strike Sion reaches out towards his opponent, but instead looks quickly grab hold of John's forehead and smash his face onto the top of the ladder.

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

Post by Deus001 Sat Jun 11, 2016 2:47 pm

John was a technical sort of wrestler, this extended to most of his offence in the fight. That strike he had delivered was proof of that, even in this highly stressful situation. The young man had felt the sweat drip down the bridge of his nose, this had probably been the longest fight the master of creation had ever been in. But John was in it to win it, plain and simple. His boss was too even if he was indisposed, if the artist could just knock Sion off the perch and send the Canadian to his doom then the titles would be claimed by the UK Elite.

Carnaby's unorthodox strike served to work well, no doubt nearly triggering a gag reflex on the man of WhiteGale. But it didn't knock Sion off the ladder, must have been a bit off target. Ryan and John had actually practised exchanging attacks on the top of the ladder as a precaution, but Sion was just a bit different from Mr Knight. That hadn't been factored in,

In retaliation Sion had bounced back and grabbed John by the head, slamming him right on the top with the forehead. There was a small dink noise, John had grunted out after the hit. The lights in his vision showing up when his sight wasn't looking blurry, the artist leaned back just a bit. Looking as if he was wobbling but moving back in, even in this stunned state John wanted to try and swing again for the fences. The collision with the steel rendered the man reeling, but this was the showdown. All cards on the table, Sion was edging out in this battle though..........

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

Post by Maxy Sat Jun 11, 2016 6:33 pm

With how John was reeling, Sion felt he was almost there. He could still feel the sting from when John tagged him in the throat but with how close things were he didn't want to give John any room if he could help it, or at the very least keep it to a minimum. He could sense John wanted to take another swing at him, given how they were trading shot at the top of the ladder, but with Sion introducing John to the top of ladder Sion felt it was time to go for it, but in a dramatic way. He could have looked to fire away quick repeated blows and hope that would be enough to force John to let go and fall, though he felt like he might not have that much time and given how high up they were one thing came to mind.

Depending who you ask, there are some people who think wrestling has a dirty little secret, and depending when in time and where you are in this or any other world that may or may not be true. With Ryan being planted on the ladder not too long ago, and Daisuke's face resembling the bottom of Niagara Falls after John doing a number on her, everyone who was watching could tell they would all be feeling it the next morning. To Sion, everything that was around him was as real as real can be, and them some. His wife wrestled, his mother and father wrestled, he even had a tiny bit of ring time when he was still inside his mother before she completely knew what was going on. Although if there was any doubters, Sion's next move may get them to change their minds because above all else, there is one thing you can't fake...gravity.

Sion reached across the ladder to grab hold of John, and when he felt he had a good enough of a grip on the opposition he would look to launch him not only off the ladder but on to the floor below on the outside of the ring. It was a long way down from where they were, and if Sion was able to succeed with making John take the fall from that distance he would know for sure that the match would be pretty much over. Even if John were to land in the ring Sion would still have enough time to grab the belts down uncontested, but he didn't want to leave anything to chance.

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

John didn't know how this was going to go, his vision was blurred. His reflexes sluggish, this had probably been the longest match the young man had ever been in. The match was at least close to ending now though, everyone here knew it. The final showdown, there was no swords or lightsabers involved. The master of creation simply battled the man of WhiteGale atop the steps to glory, the title belts awaited.

But Sion did something, something John hadn't time to expect or see coming. Rather than try to clonk the artist over the head till he fall off the ladder, he went for the next best thing. Gravity was merciless. Time seemed to slow down, very much so for John. Grabbed, and then given the push over the edge. And as Mr Carnaby felt himself move backwards, the realisation became apparent.

"F-FUCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!" John yelled out, and he fell. John didn't know where. For a brief moment the ladder had looked suddenly smaller, then he blacked out. There was a loud thudding noise, and after landing John was still. Unmoving, as if he had just been shot in the head with a large gun. Aside from the light breathing in and out at least, never had a fall from grace look so painful..........

Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale - Page 10 Empty Re: Tension in Ueno: Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- United Kingdom Elite (c) vs WhiteGale

Post by Maxy Sun Jun 12, 2016 12:04 am

After Sion launched John from the ladder he lowered his head for a moment, looking to regain some feeling in his throat. Not long after that he and everyone heard the thud of John's landing...it wasn't pretty. Even Lina and Lita looked on with shock, Lina gasping when she heard the splat that was John making contact with the ground. Even though they were on the opposite sides of the coin here Lina hoped that John wasn't dead from the fall. A ring-related death would be something that would be more welcomed by Sion's mother. She wanted to at least check to see if he was alive, having compassion for a fellow human, even though as far as the match was considered they weren't allies. Lita knew the feeling but gave Lita's arm a slight tug and pointed up.

After Sion had a few seconds to get the feeling back he looked from the perch to see where John landed. He looked down and saw John laying there. Giving a small 'damn' thought before getting back to the task at hand, not wanting the distraction of the wreckage to keep him from ending the match. He reached up to grab the belts when his eye caught a glimpse of Daisuke. She managed to get enough energy in herself to look up at the ladder, just to see if the match was still in process. She could make out Sion looking down at her. "Hey Dai!" Sion yelled down to her as his hands were at work pulling down the belts from the chain just above his head. As long as the ladder held its ground, which his footing on it felt good, he'd finish getting both belts unhooked and pulls them down. Holding them both up so she and everyone else could see, he calls out to her "We did it!"
