Strange Things Afoot

Kelly was surprised to see Alaina getting in there. Not only the of the thought of more food for her crossed her mind, she began to think and analyze things when Alaina’s opponent came out. Other than the mask, the gal didn’t seem that much different from the others. She kept the thoughts to herself, but Kelly had a feeling that they were intentionally in first gear. Not that this was a bad thing. The masked one’s form wasn’t great, but it didn’t suck either. Despite that there was something else that was making her take interest in this one, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it at the moment.

She tried not to worry about it and take things for what it was worth. If Alaina or Fate looked in her direction after a few minutes or so Kelly would have a content look of approval. She soon got into it to the point where she started to give a couple of light heckles Alaina’s way, but that was because she knew her, but if Alaina something impressive Kelly would be sure to let Alaina know she thought as such.

As the two were down with Fate fighting off a sleeper, she knew Alaina wanted her to get back up, but she hoped Alaina would let her get a few more small things in before they finished things, but she didn’t want to act on her own if she could help it.

Alaina wanted to help Fate look good in an exchange. Alaina helped Fate block a punch and in turn punch Alaina. As Alaina reeled she stumbled about letting Fate grab hold of her and hoist her up delivering a hard backdrop! Alaina landed hard and didn't need to sell that landing as it legitimately hurt!

As things continued Kelly was buying into a bit more of what was going on. She still had a feeling something was up, but with each passing second that thought faded Fate was in the process of going to the top rope. While with her basketball she could jump to about where the top rope was, coming down from it was a different story. However with how things went with Alaina so far she didn't think of it, if it was with someone else that be another story. Still she didn't know if Alaina was going to move or not, but whatever happened happened. She leaped up and looked to connect with a double knee drop.

Alaina could tell Fate was having fun with this and wanted her to enjoy the ring. Alaina laid there and tensed up her body to try to brace for the blow. It didn't help much! "Arrrgh!" Alaina howled as she cradled her abdomen and rolled off to her side wincing in pain! She needed a second to recover and decided that she had to try to work something on Fate to bring an end to this.

As she did her best to recover, Alaina decided to try to get Fate with a fast one by going for a roll up pin when she got close by.

Kelly continued to watch without any issue, looking impressed of the double knee drop that Fate pulled over. Fate looked a bit on a slow side getting back up as she wasn’t use to using her knees like that. She didn’t feel hurt per-say, but there was some discomfort. As

As she got back to her feet she saw Alaina moving. Moving in she went to grab Alaina, but ended up getting rolled up. Neither she nor Kelly saw that coming, but she managed to kick out of it in time. She looked shocked and unsure of what to expect next, but tried to avoid looking like a sitting duck and attempted to get back in there.

Alaina didn't want to hurt Fate but she didn't want to look like a pushover anymore. A simple slam would help her a bit and hopefully not hurt Fate too much. Alaina scooped Fate up and held her, ready to slam her down.

After being slammed Fate felt that the adrenaline was about to start fading.  If Alaina was close by she would whisper “Let’s bring it home.” Even though she’s not one who is normally in the ring, being around her parents for how long as she has she knew and understood most of the lingo.  Slowly she attempted to stand back up, prepared for whatever Alaina may want to do to finish things.

Alaina didn't want to hurt Fate but did want to catch her with something... Alaina moved in and went low, pulling Fates legs out from underneath her, keeping hold of her legs. Alaina maneuvered herself in position to put Fate in a sharpshooter with a reasonable degree of pressure applied. There was enough to make her feel pain and look like the hold was proper, but Alaina wasn't wrenching back with everything she had like she would have in AFW.

Kelly watched as it looked like things were about to conclude. Fate obviously tapped to the move, bringing an end to things. Fate was relieved that this was over as to her it felt longer than what it actually was. After it ended Kelly had a looks of approval on her face. Even though she knew there was more to it than there was she wasn't bothered by it, and for the first time in a while managed to see a match go down and not attempt to completely pick it apart.

Alaina made her way to the back and took a quick shower, changing back into the clothing she originally wore inside. It wasn't long before she made her way back to Kelly.

"So how are you holding up?" Alaina asked, hoping that her return to her usual self was continuing along.
