Ash-steiner: A modified backwards frankensteiner, Ashley wraps her legs around her opponent’s head, the bends backwards to violently smash them to the floor. To add to the damage, she will keep her legs around her opponent, using her legs to deliver one final smash to her downed opponent.

Personality:

Ashley is an energetic, loud mouth girl who enjoys the rush of a good match. Almost always the loudest person in the room, she likes to play the part of an egotistical punk girl in the ring but is actually a very kind and bubbly person to others. She would rather make a friend out of an opponent than an enemy and has been known to take others out to party’s and drinks after matches. Loyal to her friends, Ashley can be fairly protective of others, and can’t stand cheaters.

Past/History:

Ashley was always a bit of a tomboy. Growing up as the youngest sister of two brothers she would often get all sort of hand-me-downs, from clothes and toys, even her bedsheets were not her own. Naturally, because she grew up around lots of boy stuff, she developed interests in boy activities. She would read comics, play video games, and even participate in sports. At first, Ashely was mostly interested in soccer, enjoying the team and strategy aspect of the sport, and her smaller frame gave her a slight advantage over others. This changed when her two eldest brothers joined the high school wrestling team.

Suddenly, the household was filled with wrestling holds and impromptu matches. At first Ashely was hesitant, never doing a contact sport before. However, after being tackled, pinned, and thrown around by her older brothers, she quickly learned how to fight back using their own moves. After some time, she began to enjoyed it, finally being able to spend some time with her two brothers in a way where she was actively involved with what they were doing. She would even go so far as to challenge them to a match right there in the living room, usually taunting her brothers in a playful but rude manner. Ashely would soon join her schools wrestling team, becoming one of the top competitors in her team.
She would stick with wrestling as her sport of choice all the way through high school. She enjoyed wrestling, it was exciting, fun, and she was good at it. Ashely wanted to make it her career, but her parents worried about her. Even if Ashley was tough, she was still their only daughter, and they knew the dangers pro wrestling could have on the human body. Ashely wasn’t deterred, and after months of pleading, nagging, and puppy eyes, she was finally able to make a deal with her parents. She could pick wrestling for her career, but only if she won her first match. Ashely happily accepted the terms and jumped right in to finding her first match.

Soon she was in the middle of a ring, facing off against her first opponent, a beautiful girl named Misty. This was supposed to be her first, exciting entrance into her wrestling career, but that night it was anything but. The match was completely on sided, with Ashley being ridiculed and humiliated throughout the encounter. After being soundly defeated, Ashley left the ring with tears in her eyes, losing her one chance to follow her dream career.
Ashely would be depressed the next few days. She would uphold her end of the bargain and began to look into other careers. One day, after interviewing for a position at the local library, Misty came to see her. Ashley was shocked when the girl who had terrorized her just a few days prior got on her hands and knees, apologizing profusely with tears streaming down her face. Ashely had to calm her down and set her aside as to not make a scene. Despite what happened, Ashley held no ill will towards Misty, and she told her that. Ashley went on to explain that her situation was probably for the best, and that it wasn’t Mist’s fault. After a bit of comforting, she would send Misty home, thinking that was that last, she would see of her.

Ashely would finally arrive home after a hard day of interviews and job applications. Still struck by what happened a few hours previously with Misty. When she walked into her kitchen and saw the girl speaking with her parents over tea, Ashley was shocked. Apparently, Misty went and explained to Ashley’s parents what had happened. Touched by how regretful was and seeing how depressed their daughter was the past few days, Ashley’s Mother and Father decided that She could wrestle as her career if she wanted to. The decision was so exciting, Ashley and Misty actually hugged. The two of them would start to hang out with one another because of this decision.  

The two became fast friends, and they would bond often during sparing matches against one another.  They would talk about what they would do if they made wrestling their career, asking each other what ring names they would use, what finishers. Eventually they got to a point where they would practice finishing moves on each other, the ones they would use on opponents if they made it their profession. The two would even hangout after school, going to the arcade or the local mall to spend more time together.

Soon, Misty would come under fire, getting nasty rumors spread about her by her cousin due to a misunderstanding. Knowing her best friend was far better than the rumors were saying, Ashely stood by Misty, promising that as long as they were friends, she would stick by her side through thick and thin. Eventually she would graduate high school, and join Misty in a tag team, ready to take the wrestling world by storm with her best friend.

Ashely and Misty share a room. Though they have separate beds, Ashely will wake up to find misty sleeping next to her every so often.

Ashley will some times make dated references to shows no one has seen in years, mostly for her own entertainment.

Despite always wanting to go out for drinks, Ashley is an extreme lightweight, hardly able to get past two beers without acting like a fool.
