Army was rather inclined to chops. He hadn’t been when he started wrestling, thought they were silly and pointless - why slap a chest when you could punch a face? But the more he’d done this, and the more he’d gotten his own chest chopped to shit, the more he’d seen the use, and the more he’d worked to improve his own chopping game. Work that, if Riza’s shriek was any indication, was paying off.

It hit with a sound that could probably be heard all the way to the cheap seats, and the audience winced accordingly. More importantly, it left Hawkeye reeling in the corner, barely able to keep her feet under her, and Army would have to be crazy to not take advantage. ”BRB.”

He took a sudden dash away from her, hauling ass to the other side of the ring, only to turn and let his back hit the turnbuckle at the last second. Without a single pause, Army came storming towards her with open arms, looking to hammer her into the corner with a full-body splash.

Stupid guys and their stupid pecs. Sure a chop to the chest wasn't fun for anyone, but getting hit in a muscled pec was nothing to when a soft breast was chopped. It was an incredible sharp pain, and the burning sting lingered on for ages. Real dick move of Armando, one Hawkeye would make him pay for.

But that would have to come later, as by the time she got her head clear of the recent barrage of moves that hit her, starting to shake off the pain in her back and tit and look up, all that filled her vision was the muscular Army charging before his body collided with hers, squashing the smaller fighter against the turnbuckle, knocking the breath right out of her, and leaving her gasping and sagging against the turnbuckle.

Army was about 200 pounds. Solid, strong, not much fat on him, and despite his looks, he could get up to a decent speed when he wanted to. He was no sprinter, sure, but boxing required strong, swift legs, and he was made for boxing.

The point being that, when he wanted to crash into something, he could hit with a lot of force. A fact that Hawkeye would no doubt vouch for.

He hit her with ring-shaking force, enough to even make his own teeth chatter, and the result was immediate and obvious - it left her sagging on the turnbuckle, hung out to dry, wide open to pretty much anything he could think up. As it turned out, he had a couple of ideas. The one he liked most required some work, though.

”Up you go…” He reached around her waist and lifted her up, getting her to sit on the top of the turnbuckle. The audience began to rise, expecting something big in the works, and they’d be 100% right if Army had his way.

That sucked. That reallly sucked. Army was a big dude, a big, muscular, sexy specimen of a man, and if she was being fully honest, some of the closer contact they had in their previous matches had been almost nice...maybe even slightly intimate.

Did she just call him sexy?

Either way, that particular close contact was by far the worst that could have ever happened, the blonde woman's legs shaking as she tried to stay upright. Not that she had to worry about that for long, as he hauled her body up with ease, sitting her on the top turnbuckle, clearly planning something big and painful, which seemed to sum up his style in a few words.

Despite the pain in her body, the crushed feeling in her chest, her heavy breathing and panting, she knew full well, she couldn't let him do what he was planning, she had to fight him off! She pulled her legs up, kicking both of her booted feet out, pushing against Army's chest, shoving him back a few steps, making distance, just enough, that she could stand on the middle ropes and leap off, trying to hit Army with a cross body and bring him down!

The plan was a simple one, really.

Step One: Get Hawkeye up on the turnbuckle.

Step Two: Throw Hawkeye off the turnbuckle.

Step Three: Put her in a submission hold until she taps.

It was fuzzy on the details, Army could admit it, but the overall logic seemed solid enough. He didn’t have the best selection of ground based holds to choose from, he knew that, but he doubted it would matter. He could just sit on her stomach until she gave up if he had to. That always worked on Felina when they wrestled as kids, might be able to pull it off when he was twice as heavy.

He was done with step one and was well on his way to making step two a reality, when Hawkeye had to go and ruin it by being a competent wrestler. A well-placed boot was enough to send him stumbling back, and by the time he was able to get his bearings back, he had a flying Riza to deal with.

Hawkeye wasn’t a big woman by any real definition, probably didn’t weigh a drop over 150 pounds, but when she launched herself from the turnbuckle, she had a few things on her side - things like gravity and momentum. Army probably could’ve caught her if he’d been ready for it, but the wasn’t the case. He was caught flat footed, and down he went, crashing to the mat with her on top, floored and stunned.

Taking a leap like this was a big risk with a man like Army. Well really, leaping at anybody with as much of a weight advantage as he did was a risk, but in this situation, it was simply the best option she had available to her.

Luckily, this time, the risk paid off, letting her take the big man down onto the mat while she landed on top of him, barely feeling the impact through his thick body. For a moment, she just lay on top of him, in what would have been a pin attempt in any other match, catching her breath after the high impact moves he had leveled her with earlier.

Pushing herself up to all fours though, she was back into the fight, grabbing the same arm she had targeted earlier and spinning around it to get into position, wrapping her legs around the limb and stretching it out, re-applying her earlier armbar, trying to stretch and hyper-extend his arm! "Cmon! Time to give up, big guy!"

And this was where Army’s instincts bit him in the ass. When Hawkeye came down on him and laid flat on top, his body prepared for a kick out. That was the procedure in countless matches, over and over again, so much so that he didn’t even need to think about it.

In that moment, he forgot that this was a submission match, and it only took a moment for Hawkeye to lock in her hold.

”Shit!” He blurted the word out as Hawkeye yanked his arm back, but by then it was too late to do anything beside squirm about and wriggle, a weak attempt to get free. It wasn’t going to work, he knew that in the back of his head, but most of his brain was stuck in panic mode for the moment. Rational thinking was a luxury.

Thank god men were stupid. A smarter man might have countered, or gotten out of the hold while she was still setting it up, but Army was clearly expecting a pin, and his weak squirming and wriggling did little to aid him, allowing Hawkeye to properly lock in the armbar, her powerful legs tightening around his arm, straightening the limb out and using her hips to push it upwards at the elbow point, risking hyper-extending it.

"Cmon you big bastard! Tap out already!"

She yelled, putting everything she had into this armbar. Not that it was easy, as the mans thick arm and bulging muscle made it difficult to keep him from pulling his arm away from her, but for now, she had him caught!

Army wasn’t going to lie, it was sorely tempting to tap. He hated getting put into submission moves to begin - they were the antithesis of everything he’d trained for his entire life, that was only natural. Being trapped, unable to move, in so much pain that thinking at all was tough, let alone thinking about how to get out of the move...no, this was not his style.

There was probably some move he could’ve used to get out of this, some crazy counter that would have him rolling around and bending at all kinds of weird angles. Damned if he knew it, though. Must’ve missed that day of wrestling class.

So, when in doubt, he decided it was best to just go with his old fallback when it came to problems he couldn’t solve: brute force.

With gritted teeth, Army started to push to the side, summoning what strength he had left to push against her leg, forcing them up and folding her over. He was stacking her, which would alleviate the pressure for one thing. It would also put her in a good position to suffer the wrath of his free hand, which he brought down with a hard, straight shot to the face.

In hindsight, Hawkeye really should have seen it coming. She had forgotten that Army was a boxing specialist, had been focusing too much on the submission and wrestling aspects of the match in question. Foolishness on her part.

As a result, when Army folded her up, stacked her practically on top of herself, her legs above her head, she was focusing on how to keep the armbar tight, or a way she could counter what she assumed would be a powerbomb attempt.

Instead, he punched her right in the face.

Her body immediately went slack, her grip going limp, legs and body falling from Army's arm, landing in a heap on the mat. She groaned, her vision fuzzy, black spots popping in and out of her vision, some blood leaking out of her recently smashed nose. For the moment, she was completely out of it, her entire world rocked by his punch!
