AV 18 Adrian Kytes vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt

With little to complain about in terms of the momentum of the match thus far, Gwendolyn saw no reason not to up the proverbial ante by flinging the Philadelphian across the ring for a speedy uptick in tempo. All intended to make the next strike that much more impactful and jaw-shattering, but not all good intentions bear fruit. That specific realization dawning on Gwendolyn when she found herself tugged forward and into the waiting arms of the former cosplayer...

*SLAM*

The refined noblewomen seamlessly spun around for a ring-shaking splash that left her in twirling disorientation and stinging back pain, an inelegant yelp being uttered before bouncing off the canvas with a faint scowl on her cringing visage. The flung over heiress immediately rolling herself over with the rebounding momentum for a sprightly, though still stinted, ascent back to her feet...one look at Adrian's smug face compelling her to forgo caution and attempt an ill-advised and sluggish knee strike straight to Adrian's chin.

Adrian was already on the move by the time Gwendolyn had risen to her feet, weaving out of the wobbly heiress way as the blonde tried to jump up to drive her knee square into the space where the former cosplayer's head had been had the brunette not been quick enough to sidestep the flying strike, and leaving the Heiress vulnerable as her knees bent on the landing.

Circling behind the blonde, Adrian threw her arms up to trap Gwen's as though she was going to put her into a full nelson but before she could complete the hold, she threw herself back for another snap throw, this time a Snapdragon suplex sending the blonde back for a spin into the canvas, the former cosplayer wasn't even bothering with a bridge attempt, she was getting back up and ready to put even more long-awaited hurt on the arrogant grappler.

Considering that rearranging Adrian's facial features via a clobbering knee strike was Gwendolyn's intended plan of attack after the cosplayer's return from the Irish whip, it was at the forefront of her mind when first laying eyes on the wretched gamer girl. The heiress' flawless beauty eclipsing Adrian's homely countenance to the point where she felt that clocking her in the face could only be an improvement...though Gwen would never know for sure considering that her strike whiffed her unsophisticated target.

Gwen uttering a stubborn groan through her clenched teeth from feeling her arms hung upward from behind before being implanted onto the back of her golden-curled head and shoulders to a booming slam and the audiences steadily growing cheers. Gwen's toned legs shooting into the sky before she slumped onto her side, her determination to get back up to her feet now appearing distinctly drunken and unsteady. Being chucked overhead like a ragdoll putting the smug highborn in a concussive daze, easily noticeable by her half-lidded eyes and the way her wobbly legs crossed over themselves upon unknowingly turning in Adrian's direction...

From one hard hitting slam to another Adrian was on a roll right now, throwing Gwendolyn around with moves not normally associated with the former cosplayer but effective offence nonetheless from the brunette and she was about to top it all off by bounding off towards the ropes while Gwendolyn was still searching for the license plate of the truck that hit her.

Bouncing off the ropes with a head of speed Adrian charged back at the wobbly-legged heiress and tried for something risky, leaping up she would attempt to grab hold of Gwen's head for leverage before snapping her in a brief headscissor for just long enough for the momentum to carry the former cosplayer around, swinging the blonde back down to the canvas with a running hurricarana, switching from hard hitting suplexes to lucha libre.

It was acutely obvious by now that Gwendolyn was becoming frazzled, discombobulated, and was basically losing any sense of control over this match. If she hadn't already. The surge of momentum in Adrian's favor being channeled into a lightning storm of electric energy that the audience was feeding off of as they cheered the former cosplayer on. It was a deafening and insufferable racket that made it nigh impossible for Gwen to think straight as she twirled about to face Adrian after scrambling back up to her feet...

...and only to be greeted with the gamer girl bounding upward for an uncomfortably distressing seat on her shoulders. The prim aristocrat appreciating nothing about this view as she scrunched her face from the tightening squeeze on her head before being seamlessly flipped off of her boots for a tumbling spill towards the ropes. Gwendolyn instinctively rolling and tumbling along with the momentum in a desperate bid to remove herself from the ring as quickly as she could under the bottom ropes. The heiress's head still spinning despite her standing upright outside of the ring, a hand massaging her lower back as she snarled while taking groggy steps around the ring.

Adrian's mind was a rushing blur as she send Gwen scrambling for sanctuary on the outside, gone was the smug grin of success at wiping the rivaling smirk off her blonde foe's face, instead showing gritted teeth of determination as she plucked herself up from the canvas, staggering as she tried to focus on where the Heiress had gone to.

Fortunately for the former cosplayer, Gwendolyn's staff was doing part of the work for her, already some of the attendants that had stuck around after her grand entrance were swarming to assist their employer('s daughter) with various words of encouragement and water bottles to refresh herself while she made the most of the referee's slow count.

Slamming the canvas with the palm of her hand, Adrian took off running once again, leaping into the far side ropes to catapult herself across the ring as she ducked into a full sprint, yelling out "GWENIE!" in a feral scream as she dived between the first and second ropes like a blonde-hunting torpedo right at Gwendolyn and her crew.

"This is an abject outrage, Madam Bettencourt!!! Such an uncivilized commoner has no place putting her bourgeois hands on you in such a manner!!!"

"The subpar lighting in this ramshackle establishment is clearly much too dim for you to see her attacks, milady!!!"

"A wise tactical decision to retreat. You have her right where you want her, milady!!!"

Endless kudos and embellished compliments surrounded Gwendolyn on all sides as her cavalcade of lingering employees instinctually swarmed around the posh blueblood. Each one catering to her every whim, be it dutifully smoothing out any creases in her outfit, readjusting and fluffing up her golden ringlets, or simply offering her white towels and water bottles should she be parched. It was a frantic scene of exorbitant pandering and lavish primping that further exemplified the massive divide between those in the audience scrimping for their meager earnings, and the overindulgent social elite comprising the 1%.

"Do not bombard me with your feckless opinions!!!...tch...As if I needed to reminded of my own superiority to this uncultured urchin..." Gwendolyn grumbled out that last statement after swiping a water bottle and taking a refreshing swig of water, scowling at her obedient attendants and drinking what water she could before turning her attention to the ring. Her hazel-eyes widening in the milliseconds before she was barreled over along with her entourage by the vengeful gamer girl. The heiress being one bowling pin among many being knocked over as Gwen languished in a stunned stupor while splayed out on the ground, all to the ecstatic ovation of the audience around them.

The crowd roared as Adrian collided with Gwendolyn and her cronies, the brunette bowling through the bunch of them arms-first but Adrian wasn't getting out of the collision unscathed. The impact stopped her forward momentum cold and the toppled toadies weren't in line to give the former cosplayer a happy landing after her suicide dive causing Adrian to land awkwardly on her arms on the thinly padded floor with the earlier damage to her neck giving her a feeling of whiplash from going full sprint to full stop.

Groaning in pain, Adrian pulled on the ring apron to prop herself back up on her feet, searching through the pile of bodies to re-find the blonde and bundle her back into the ring, hoping that the hired help hadn't acted too much of a cushion for her.

Lost amidst a sea of languishing lackeys was the imperial blueblood, who had regrettably not taken the diving collision any better than her witless employees around her. The suicidal impact leaving her in a stunned stupor and sprawled out onto the matted surface to the audience's applauding approval, flinching throughout the entirety of her sluggish attempts to climb back to her feet after bitterly rolling any of her rattled lackeys off of her.

Whatever momentum she once had was by now tipping immensely in the accursed gamer girl's favor. Less than a token's resistance offered to Adrian hauling her up and swiftly rolling her under the bottom rope. The posh aristocrat tumbling on ahead a few more feet before shuffling up to one knee...but with Adrian re-entering the ring through the ropes, so too would the heiress come charging towards her with every intention of clocking the former cosplayer square underneath her chin in a knee lift.

Putting a casual boot in to a half-full bottle of water for good measure, Adrian flicked her hair back out of her eyes and took the trip up the ring steps to the apron, taking the slow way up and into the ring while she favoured her aching arm, hoping that Gwen would still be out of it for long enough that she could get into the ring unmolested.

Hope, as it turned out, was a lie. The brunette had one foot in the ring, one on the apron and had ducked underneath the top rope when Gwen launched her retaliation, catching Adrian on the jaw with a rising knee that sent her head straight up into the air, catching the back of her neck on the rope with enough force to almost catapult her straight back down again.
