AV 18 Adrian Kytes vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt

Seldom had any of Gwendolyn's matches gone so unequivocally South in so lightning quick of an instant. The prim and posh aristocrat no longer having the breathe in her lungs to levy any further disparaging taunts or snide remarks against Adrian as she hugged her breadbasket with whatever rasping gasps for air she could cough out. Her ability to start breathing normally again being accompanied by the tugging strain upon her Victorian-esque curls, Gwendolyn unwillingly complying with seething discontent and a wavering wobble to her smooth legs from the grip upon her now blood-stained hair.

Her hobbled posture not being aided by the fact she was being arched backward, and certainly not by the impending neckbreaker slamming the back of her head over the cosplayer's shoulder. The spoiled blueblood's arms immediately going limp as if she had been blasted with a stun gun, the impact sending a searing shockwave of pain throughout her supple body which was still being balanced on her feet, and still being held up by the Phillie girl's grasp.

With a groan of pain as she tried to force herself up on both feet with Gwendolyn trying to collapse on her shoulder, Adrian flashed a manic grin through the crimson mask as she turned both her and the blonde around, ending with the heiress stuck in a front facelock and the former cosplayer raising her free arm, falling backwards as she let it drop to drive Gwen face first into the canvas. It had been years since she'd been able to pull off the '68 Comeback Special, but it was always there when she needed it the most.

Being blissfully unaware of what was happening in her immediate surroundings was both a blessing and curse. A blessing in that she didn't have to cope with the humiliation of being soundly undone and outwrestled by the Phillie native, and a curse in that she didn't have the wherewithal to resist being twisted into a front facelock. An ineffectual tug of the slender arm looped around the posh noblewoman's head came baccompanied her fluttering eyelids catching a disconcerting glimpse of the canvas below before being hammered downward with a brutal thud. A shudder coursing through the spoiled aristocrat's sublime and sweat glistened form with a ragdoll-esque flip landing her splayed out and legs akimbo with now a disconcerting view of the rooflights above.

Adrian stayed down next to the stricken Gwendolyn, their hair spraying out on the canvas in a way that might have been artistic enough for a magazine cover had Adrian's face and most of her hair not been covered in blood before she rolled onto her front, stumbling back up to her feet. With a crazed grin the crimson masked brunette made her way to the nearest corner, drunk on the adrenaline rush and pointed skywards.

With a tight grip she pulled herself up on top of the turnbuckles, balancing precariously on the top rope and took sight of her prey. Gwendolyn was dead centre of the ring, even in the best of situations it would take one heck of a leap to make it, but that's just what Adrian did: launching herself off the top rope and pulling her arms up, looking to drive her elbow down into the chest of her foe with a top rope elbow drop.

Languishing miserably with nary the foggiest clue as to where the confounded cosplayer had buggered off to, Gwendolyn began making concerted efforts to summon what waning vitality she had left within her. Her refined lips sneered in disgust from the visceral scowl on her face as she started shuffling one leg up at the knee with both arms still strewn above her. Unbeknownst to her being splayed out in the middle of the ring, and being sized up for the top rope exclamation point being spiked into her beautiful breasts from on high.

The high-flying spectacle, from take-off to crash landing, being glamorized with flickering camera twinkles in the night sky with the spoiled socialite shooting to a semi-seated position from the rebounding recoil of the decisive drop. "GRRhha!!!" Gwendolyn hacked out a stunted scream with her eyes squinted shut and arms hugging her ample chest before tipping over to lay on her stomach. The heiress sputtering out coughs with rasping inhalations of air from the side of her haughty countenance mashed against the canvas, the tip of her right boot tapping against the mat once before going totally limp.

With pain shooting up her arm all the way down to her hip, Adrian could do little more than shuffle over to lie on top of Gwendolyn's chest for a cover but hopefully that was all the brunette needed. With blood dripping everywhere she could at last be sure that she'd proven to the blonde heiress that she was the better woman and was going to seal it when the ref counted three. "ONE!"

"TWO!!"

Wordlessly gasping for fresh air and becoming none too successful at it, the snooty socialite remained motionless and inert upon being covered for the seemingly perfunctory pin count just to make the foregone conclusion official. The bloodied brunette weighing herself down against the smug heiress' abundant chest and once again proving that those who come from a commoner's background can overcome being born into squalid conditions and not living with opulent riches. That those who have no generational lineage stooped in tradition are not inherently inferior, and that Adrian was indeed, the better wrestler who can stack up to any spoiled bluebloo-

THRE-!!!

That thought, the referee's pin count, and this fairy tale ending would be put on indefinite pause by the split-second shifting of Gwen's left shoulder off of the canvas. Twisting her over to lay on her side and leaving an entire arena in a state of stunned shock.

The rowdy arena went deathly silent as Adrian sat up after Gwen forced her shoulder up off the canvas, the bloody mess of hair covering her face from all prying eyes as she slowly staggered up to her feet as though the former cosplayer was sleepwalking. As she swayed back and forth, her arms limp at her side perhaps she was as she walked back over to the corner she had leapt from, pressing her forehead into the top turnbuckle. The crowd didn't know how to react after the shock had worn off and neither did the referee: the official was stuck looking back and forth between the still down Gwendolyn, making sure that she was still in a state to continue even after kicking out, and at the walking dead that Adrian seemed to be. That was until the Brunette reached up to grasp the top rope and throw herself backwards, folding at the knees as she let out a terrifying screech.


Adrian pulled herself back up to standing and raised her leg up high, driving it down into the canvas to let the sound of the stomp echo throughout the arena, and sparking off a chain of clapping in sync as the bloodied battler tried to rouse some reaction from the downed blonde.

Ingrained in her since birth, and instinctually compelling her to shoot a shoulder upward in spite of the brutal elbow spike robbing her of the very air she breathed...it was obstinate perfectionism, and the sworn belief that her noble pedigree and refined lineage does make her the superior athlete over commoner riffraff like the contemptuous cosplayer that compelled this match to continue. It was an arrogance-laden refusal to accept any other truth that had the frazzled high-born tumble herself over onto her front after interrupting the pin count, arms now pinned to her side and rasping weathered breaths with her golden ringlets fluffed all about her head.

Flabbergasted that Adrian's theme music was not already being piped throughout the speakers by now, captivated audience members struggled to comprehend just what they were witnessing and what was it going to take for Adrian to put Gwendolyn down for the count...until she answered via the timed boot stomps into the canvas, and they answered back by being compelled to clap along with the rhythmic stamping. Several seconds passing by of jostling inertia only bringing slight wiggles to her royal rump before one arm began pushing off of the canvas, than the other. A strained and groggy ascension by Gwendolyn taking eons to happen, but building palpable hype to the moment she eventually did turn around to face Adrian on wobbly, knock knees and a whirling sway to her arms...

Adrian threw herself towards the rising blonde, side stepping her way across the ring before throwing herself into kicking her hated foe Gwendolyn square in the jaw with a the biggest and best super kick she could manage, a full force FUS RO DAH with the power to knock anyone who got in its way out for a week.
