Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat - Page 6 Empty Re: Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat

BlazeWave was not going to beat Viper. Theo knew that, now. They’d done a good job against Gyuri, but as the last three minutes - Jesus, it had only been three minutes. As the last three minutes had proved, the second half of Sucker Punch was on an entirely different mental level. Theo had never heard of this woman, but he was starting to think he really should have - it was hard to believe someone this adept in the ring could fly under the radar, that his Google Fu had failed him this badly. When this was over, he was going to figure out just who Viper was.

For now, though, she was just the woman who was beating him and Theo without so much as a sweat. The wall they were having serious trouble getting over, through, or around. So, when she rolled Willy over and plopped down on his stomach - which looked like it sucked, by the way - he was faced with a real choice, and one he had little time to make. Fight or flee?

He didn’t like the way this was going. Sucker Punch was a well-oiled machine, and while it wasn’t impossible to win this, it was fleeting chance. He would need Gyuri to be tagged back in. The two of them seemed close enough when it came to skills, he was reasonably sure he could beat her. But Viper had no real reason to do that. She had all the momentum, here. Why screw it up?

At the same time, he couldn’t just let Willy be pinned, even if it meant more pain for both of them. If they ever wanted to be taken seriously in the tag division, he had to break that pin.

So the choice wasn’t really a choice. As soon as the referee dropped down to start the count, Theo leaped into the ring and rushed forward at top speed, hoping to close in before Viper could react and hit her with a rushing kick to the chest, looking to break the pin.

Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat - Page 6 Empty Re: Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat

In the end he had decided to come for her. In defense of his friend or to salvage the match, it didn't matter. It was an act of bravery or, admittedly, foolishness, but the two had quite a bit in common. The fact he rushed in had been a surprise, but not an altogether terrible one. It was almost a shame to have to reward the gesture with more pain, but it came with the territory. They weren't in the business of hugs and friendship after all.

She had waited until he had closed in half of the ring before leaning forward to rise off Willy. The commitment entrapped the other man in the ring with her, trying to about face now would have been impossible. Rather than give him the option though, she charged forward to cut off the rest of the ring, leaving Willy in the dust.

The referee's attention had been drawn to Theo as the illegal man had unintentionally opened the door for Gyuri to act independently from Viper again. The Korean woman hopped back, dropping down off the apron to the floor. She leaned in under the bottom rope, grabbing hold of Willy's ankles to pull at him. She strained, digging in her heels to try and drag his big dumb body out of the ring. Once she had his legs out, the Korean kicked up one of her own to brace a foot against the apron to push off, aiding in her efforts. With one last yank, she tried to pull him off the canvas and let him clatter to the floor in front of her.

Viper closed in on Theo, rearing back with her arm with all the intentions in the world of taking him down. Primed and ready, she was almost to him when his leg came up, cutting her off from the intended target. His boot struck her dead in the chest, her breasts giving a sense of give before he was met with the solid mass underneath. The length of the limb leaving her just out of range of reprisal before his momentum pushed him forward and sent her backwards.

Her boots squealed against the canvas, marring the surface with faint black skids as she wobbled upright before taking a knee to maintain her balance. While it wasn't apparent if Viper bled like everyone else in this world, this was a glimmer of hope all the same. He had made an impact, a visible one, it made her seem far less impenetrable while she knelt down before him, head hung low. It was a fleeting sense of victory, as she rose to her feet already stepping forward, taking a long stride to Theo with angry full eyes and grit teeth. She brought her arm around with the full force of her body, twisting into the massive standing lariat she called the Sidewinder, trying to take his head clean off his shoulders.

Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat - Page 6 Empty Re: Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat

Willy was, despite what it likely looked like, keenly award of the world around him at this point. Yes, he was hurting, but he wasn’t so out of it that he couldn’t notice a woman sitting on him - especially one with as fine a behind as Viper was boasting. As much as he didn’t hate the feeling, he was also aware of the whole ‘being pinned and losing the match’ thing that was happening, and how he was really close to losing their second match in a row. The only problem was, his body and his brain couldn’t get on the same emergency level. He tried to make it move, but it ignored everything. Sluggish, slow, all he could do was lay there and wait for the three seconds to be over…

...only that didn’t happen. Instead, for what reason he couldn’t imagine, Viper got up and broke the count, saving him. Why? Was Theo trying to make a save? That was the only thing that made sense, but he couldn’t quite get a good sense of what was happening.

He started to crane his neck up, trying to get a better look at things, when he felt something - or someone - yanking at his ankle. He scarcely had time to register that before he was yanked hard out of the ring, hanging his head on the apron and coming down hard on the mat. Groaning, rolling about in pain, he could look up and see the source of his misery: Gyuri. ”Gah, fucking troll doll, hate you!”

Back inside the ring, however, things were going much better. While he had wanted to catch her while she was down, Theo was still able to tag Viper with a kick, and a good one, too. It brought her down to a knee, clearly hurting her, the first real damage she’d taken all match if you didn’t count the headbutt. The referee was yelling at him, wanting him to leave the ring, but he didn’t care. There was no way he was losing this.

Later on, when he was checking his teeth, he would regret that decision.

He had been charging in for a Shining Wizard, when Viper rose up and struck like her namesake, closing in a flash. He had just enough time to widen his eyes in shock before she closed them again, nailing him with the mother of all lariats. He did a full flip backward, a compete rotation, before coming down hard on his chest, dead center of the ring. This time, there was no getting up. He just laid there, still, unmoving, on the border of consciousness.

Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat - Page 6 Empty Re: Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat

Gyuri's face skewed into one of annoyance. Of all the things Willy could have said to her, this had been his choice? The connection to her hair and the doll wasn't really reaching her. She instead poor it as an insult to her body to have her lithe figure compared to the sun tanned portly body of the plastic nightmares. She brought he leg up, stomping her sneaker back down right on his face to cut him off from any other "witty" comments about her look.

When the Korean brought her foot away, she let it slip further down to tuck it under Willy's throat. Reaching out she grabbed the bottom rope to keep her balance, hopping up onto one leg so all her weight was being used to choke him underneath her sneaker. She bounced and twisted her heel in, trying to grind as much out of him while the two were alone on the outside.

With Theo in a pile at her feet, Viper took a moment to adjust her top, making sure everything sat right after that kick. He wasn't moving though. That wouldn't do. He wasn't the legal man and didn't belong in the ring after all. She decided to wake him back up. She knelt again, this time pushing her knee to rest against the small of Theo's back. Arms reaching out to slip her hands around the man's head. Her finger slipped up against one another, locking in a S grip with her hands before she leaned back, dragging Theo's upper body with her while pinning him to the mat with her weight. The pain would bring him around quickly enough, she was sure of that.

Willy was already in a bad state, having banged his head on the hardest part of the ring on his way out. Was it too much to ask that Gyuri not make it worse by stomping a mudhole in him?

Yes. Yes, it was, apparently.

The crazy chick proceeded to stomp him in the face, which would’ve sucked enough by itself, but then she had to go and pile on the damage. Willy’s cry of pain was cut short when her foot came down on his throat and she started to choke him, standing on his throat. She didn’t weigh all that much, but the human neck wasn’t really designed to take much pressure at all, and he found himself choking and sputtering underneath her heel, kicking his legs about and trying in vain to push her off.

Theo wasn’t having much of a better time. Viper had laid him out in the ring, but she didn’t seem content to just leave it at that. There was a sharp pain in his back, a pain that only grew worse and worse and worse as his upper body was yanked back at an odd angle, wrecking his core and testing the limits of his flexibility.

There was probably a name for this move, but damn, he could just not think of it at the moment. All he knew was that it was excruciating, introducing him to a level of pain he couldn’t have previously fathom. Shrieking, crying out, he began to tap away at the mat without even thinking - not that it mattered. He wasn’t legal, he could tap all day, it didn’t matter. It would be over when Viper wanted it to be over.

Sure enough, it didn't take too much coaxing to breath life back into Theo, even if doing so came at the expense of his health. It didn't take him long to tap the mat, lively in surrender. That was right where she wanted him, conscious and beaten. She milked the hold just a bit, more for the amusement of watching the referee struggle what they should be trying to control in this cluster of interference and counts outs. When she left Viper and Theo alone to go about at Gyuri and Willy though, the blond woman finally relented and let the smaller of the two boys fall back to the mat.

Pushing off Theo's body, she grabbed hold of the waistband of his pants as she rose up, using it to lift him just enough to drag him back along the mat to his corner. She unceremoniously rumor him back on the ground, giving him a hard shove with her boot to judge him back onto the apron where he belonged. How nice of her.

Gyuri sprang off of Willy at the officials request, though only after one or two more quick hope for good measure. She raised her hands in surrender at being caught and offered to make it up to the referee by helping the large man back into the ring. Grabbing a handful of Willy's hair and a sleeve of his jacket, she worked to try and "help" him to his feet before pushing him into the ring apron, trying to lift him one leg at a time into the ring and roll him back inside.

Theo wasn’t in this home long, but it almost didn’t matter - even two seconds in a hold this painful was more than he ever wanted to take. She didn’t keep it on for too long, but it was enough to give his spine a pain that he was sure wouldn’t be leaving him for at least a week.

Thankfully - in a way - she didn’t seem to have much interest in hurting her beyond that, as he very next move was just to knock him under the ropes and get him back to the corner he belonged - just a lot more worse for wear than when he left. Really, a not-so-small part of him was wishing he’d just let Willy take the pin. As much as he was loathe to admit it, the outcome would've been the same, most likely.

But Willy was saved, sort of - he wasn’t pinned, but his time under Gyuri’s heel hadn’t done him good. She helped him back in the ring, assistance he actually did need, and he rolled over toward the center. He stopped with his chest to the mat and began to push up with one hand while he rubbed his battered neck with the other, kind of hating life at the moment.

Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat - Page 6 Empty Re: Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat

Post by Yori Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:08 am

When Viper turned from Theo to find Willy already being rolled into the ring, she couldn't help but chuckle. What a lovely present. Sucker Punch was coming around, finding their rhythm as a team in live competition. When Gyuri hopped back up onto the apron, Viper gave her a small upnod in acknowledgement. She couldn't see beneath the Korean girls mask, but knew she was smiling, she could tell from her eyes.

She moved slow across the ring, keeping a close eye on Willy on approach. She didn't expect much more out of the man but she had been caught off guard before. Now was not the time to make stupid mistakes. She came up aggressively, giving him a hard stomp to make sure his recovery was interrupted.

She clamped a hand down on his neck, spinning him about to yank him upwards. Keeping him close, she drove her knee up into his midsection before dragging him harshly away from the ropes by his jacket. She spread her legs, pulling him down to slam his shoulders into her thighs and trap his head between her legs. Backing up a few steps, she lean towards the ropes, holding just long enough for Gyuri to lean in and tag herself in.

Leaning down, Viper wrapped her arms around Willy's midsection giving the ma. A tight squeeze, making sure she kept applying pressure to keep him submissive in her grasp. With a grunt she whipped her body back, taking the large man up into the air to flip up onto her shoulders.

Taking charging steps forward, she grabbed a hold of Willy's pants, hoisting him up higher off her shoulders. With all the height and force she could muster, she brought him down to the mat with a massive last ride that left her standing while Willy was crumpled to the mat.

Gyuri hit the tag and immediately scrambled up the ropes. Watching Viper carry Willy off, she spun on her heel to stand upright with her back to the action, head turned up to the sky. She reached up, tugging at the brim of her cap to pull it off and shake her ponytail out behind her. With a toss, she frisbeed her hat into the crowd and threw her arms wide, cast in a glow from the arena lights.

With a bend of her knees she flipped herself backwards off the ropes, keeping her legs together, clearly not making the distance to hit Willy… until Viper was there. Fingers interlocked, catching the flipping Koreans's heels like a landing pad. With a scream, the blond threw her arms up, launching the smaller woman far higher than the ropes would have allowed, we don't her corkscrewing through the empty space until Gyuri threw her arms out to come crashing down across Willy.

Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat - Page 6 Empty Re: Sucker Punch vs. BlazeWave - Can't Stop The Beat

Willy was done. The referee knew he was done. The audience knew he was done. He was willing to bet Viper knew he was done, too - she just didn’t seem to care all that much. It was starting to feel less like this was a match and more like this was an exhibition, like she was just trying to make some statement to the world and they’d had the misfortune of being her examples.

Most importantly, though, Willy knew this match was over. It was kind of hard to pinpoint where it had all gone to shit - it was a snowball rolling downhill, getting bigger and bigger until it all lead to an inevitable crash at the bottom - and they were definitely in the crash phase.

Viper wasn’t content to let him lay still for long, hauling him up and slamming his head between her thighs, something he’d have loved to make a joke about if she hadn't spent the last five minutes kicking his ass. At first, he thought she might be going for a powerbomb, but he dismissed the idea, thinking she couldn’t be that strong. It made him all the more surprised when she not only pulled it off, but pulled it off with style, getting him high as he could go before bringing him back down to earth with a ring-shaking Last Ride.

He hit with a deafening crash, arching his back as he tried to cope with the pain, but his troubles were far from over. Just as he was starting to gain some sense back, he had enough time to register that something was flying towards him, coming in from the side, hard and fast. It was Gyuri, getting higher and moving faster than he’d thought possible, and her destination was an obvious one. He had just enough time to realize how much the next few seconds were going to suck, but not enough time to do a damn thing about it.

She came down like an anvil on his chest, driving all the wind out of him, hammering all his ribs at once with her impact. He let out a hoarse, ragged groan and rolled over to his side, clutching his chest, unable to do much more than lay there in a wrecked heap and sputter out his pain.

There was a stunned silence as Gyuri took flight. Awe mixed with confusion as she was nowhere close to the mark. When Viper met her half way, awaiting with a gigantic toss that sent her back up into the air, the reaction was deafening. Like magic she made the trip across the ring to land flat across Willy. The impact sent her bouncing off his body. She clutched her sides, eyes clamped shut. The damage had been done to both wrestlers but it was clear which of them suffered more.

Gyuri rolled over onto her front, crawling towards Willy, set to pin him… but she paused. Rising to her hands and knees she staggered to her feet, grasping down at the collar of his jacket. With hard guys she started to move away with him. Viper paused on her way to the apron, glancing back with a quirked brow. Clearly she had expected to hear a three count but her partner was going into business for herself at the moment.

With a soft grumble, she slipped through the ropes and took her place on the apron. It wasn't worth making a scene now and tarnishing their image. There would be words later backstage though for not running this by her, but for now she would just observe.

Gyuri dragged Willy towards Blazewave's corner, letting him drop in a heap. She stepped over his body, throwing a hard heel back at him to kick him the rest of the way towards Theo. She moved back, spinning on the balls of her feet to face down Blazewave's corner with visible spring in herself. Mostly fresh, it was like staring down a firing squad for whichever of the men who came her way next. She threw a hand up, cockily gesturing with two fingers for them to bring it on.
