Clara "Little Wonder" Wonder vs Evelyn "Red" Evans

The roar of the crowd could be heard even from the isolated location that was the lockers room. There a solitary Evelyn was working on her final warm up before the upcoming match with some stretches. She loved stretching, it takes her back to her gymnastic era and helped her relax when feeling tense. And well, being quite the flexible woman had its perks, inside and outside the ring.

When she was done with her bridge stretch she stood in front of the mirror and took a breather until her relaxation techniques kicked in. She always felt the rush of excitement before a match, but as she had learnt in the past it is wise to tackle combats with a cold head. Stepping inside the ring without a clear mind proved to be fatal for her choices when she was in the indie wrestling world, but that was long ago. Now she was a part of one of the best wrestling shows in the world and she acted like that. Before heading into the backstage she gave a final look at the mirror to check everything in her attire was properly in place. “Go get them honey.” Evelyn said while blowing a kiss at her reflection with a giggle.

Evelyn "Red" Evans:

Red loved the part in which one could bathe in the crowd’s love. It was one of the best parts of her jump to the bigger leagues, everyone was so enthusiast about what she was doing, almost as enthusiast as she herself was and it made her so happy to move along that ramp and make some fans’ day just with some gesture or some high five. That’s why she always dedicated all of her being to the entrance. Above all she respected the show and thought she owed a lot to all that people cheering.

When she got to the ring, Evelyn made a flashy gymnastic jump over the ropes to stand inside and there she would make a final gesture at the public while bathed in the red spotlights she uses as her symbol. Taking her leather jacket off she tossed it to the stands where a lucky fan would have an incredible souvenir. Then Evelyn would go to her corner as her theme was ending, where she would have to wait for tonight’s rival to appear. She knew close to nothing about this Little Wonder, but the name implied that she could be a woman of flashy ways as well, and Red liked flashy wrestling above anything else.

Clara Wonder's last match had been a total bust, with her losing to her opponent in record time. This time, she aimed to win this match and prove it to everyone that she deserved to be in the ring. Ever since she was signed into AFW, she had never won any of her matches, and it somehow brought a great deal of anxiety in the blonde wrestler.

Already clad in her heroine-esque wrestling outfit, Clara stepped out to the ramp as her music was played. Puffing up her chest and placing her fists on her hips, she held her head high as her name was announced. The crowd gave her polite cheers. Being unproven in the ring, they didn't think much about her, though some of them were looking forward to see her first victory.

Clara Wonder:

Dramatically waving her cape, Clara would then walk down the ramp, heading over to the ring where she would be facing her opponent for tonight, Evelyn Evans. Soon, after she reached the ring, she removed her cape before entering the ring, climbing up the apron before rolling under the ropes. Standing up, she would then raise her arm to get the crowd to rally behind her.

After that, Clara looked at her opponent. Still standing proudly, she would then speak to her. "So, are you ready to face the Wonder?" Clara asked dramatically. Being a daughter of the legendary Athena Wonder, Clara knew that she had a very big shoe to fill, and she would show everyone that she was worthy of being her mother's legacy.

Evelyn gazed from her rival as her rival’s entrance theme started. She was so eager to see how this “Little Wonder” would be. The name suggested some liking for performance and drama, and if there was something Evelyn loved as much as wrestling was the chance that job gave her to fully develop an in ring persona. She stretched while standing because the Bandit was starting to feel so excited and wanted to get her mind under control.

That was the moment she gazed for the first time at Clara, and this rival certainly delivered. Even from the distance Evelyn was able to notice how the Wonder’s attire resembled the outfit of a superhero. But not only that, the pose she made was something out of a superhero comicbook. She had proud mannerisms and she looked confident, elegant. A lot of people should feel like a clown wearing that, but she… it was as if she belonged in that suit. When she got closer Evelyn realized that she was not only taller and heavier than her, but that she was indeed quite attractive and her outfit was revealing more than she judged at first. The match couldn’t look more interesting now.

Clara took her cape with an elegant gesture. The woman looked like a real superhero! And not only that, she showed some character when proudly challenging Evelyn. The fact that this rival looked as dramatic as the Bandit as she posed for her and the audience was amazing. “You can bet I am!” she retorted when pointing at her rival with a grin smile on her face. “Let’s have a good match, Wonder!”

Clara showed a lopsided smile when her opponent reacted to her presence. It sure felt good to be acknowledged in such a way. Still posing heroically, she nodded after hearing Evelyn's words. "Alright. May the best woman win..." And so, Clara would prepare herself for the match.

Soon, the referee would call both wrestlers to the center of the ring. After making sure that both of them were ready, the referee called for the bell, starting the match between the two. To start off the match, the blonde wrestler would get into position, taking a stance as she raised her arms, preparing to lock up with her opponent in a grapple.

Evelyn nodded at her rival when she posed like a superhero and assessed her challenge. “Yeah, may the best win.” They had exchanged only a couple of sentences, but her first impression was good. The Little Wonder looked like a proud wrestler and also like someone who likes and respects the show and her persona, but she also had some aura of respectability and honor, like someone who respects sportswomanship.

Both wrestlers gathered at the center of the ring while the ref gave the final pointers about the match and then the bell ringing signaled the beginning of the combat. Inmediately after this Clara took a fighting stance and raised her arms, challenging her rival to lock with her. That was a logical course of action for Wonder since she was taller and heavier than the Bandit, so even if they manage to be on similar strength levels size would give the edge to the blonde. Even so, at this early stage of the match Evelyn needed to assess her rival’s strengths and weaknesses, so it would prove wise to start with this lock even if it could end bad for her. Better to have this in the beginning of the match. “Challenge accepted sister. Bring it.”, Red said while locking with her rival and planting her feet on the mats, trying to get as much push force as possible.

Clara prepared herself for her match with Evelyn, waiting for the bell to be rung. From what she could see, she was bigger than heavier than her opponent, and she knew that she held an obvious advantage over her opponent. Still, she also knew that she couldn't simply underestimate her opponent just because she was bigger and heavier than her.

Seeing that Evelyn was also going for a grapple, Clara stepped forth and locked up with her. She would try to use the obvious advantage that she had, pushing against her with her full strength. She flexed her muscles as she would push against her opponent, trying to overpower her with her strength. Hopefully, she would gain an upper hand after overwhelming her opponent with her might alone.

From the very moment Evelyn locked up against Clara she could notice how both of them had similar levels of physical strength, and in that kind of situations the one with the bigger body frame had the advantage. This proved to be true as the Bandit felt her pushing losing strength and her rival’s weight and height giving her that extra push she needed to start making the British lose her ground.

It was a timid retreat at first, but with some more seconds Red was giving up more space at an alarming rate. She knew how to react in these kind of situations, using the rival’s push force against herself, but wasn’t willing to show her best cards so soon, so she kept trying her best and if her rival didn’t do anything she would be with her back against a turnbuckle soon enough.

Pushing against her opponent's frame, Clara could tell that she was overpowering Evelyn with her strength, and she allowed herself to smile over this small victory. Her muscles tensed as she would continue pushing her opponent towards the nearest corner, looking to have her trapped.

"Ha... I gotta win this, nghhh..." Clara said as she would make sure that Evelyn would not be able to push back, not realizing that her opponent was holding back her trump card at the moment. For Clara, she was certain that she would be able to bring her opponent to the corner where she could start working on her in order to weaken her.

Evelyn huffed while locked in the test of strength. It was obvious that she couldn’t overpower her rival but she was still feeling confident about her skills. She had a couple of aces down her sleeve, but didn’t want to show them. Instead, the redhead was expecting to see how her rival wished this situation to unfold, so Red would keep losing ground.

Eventually the British would reach a corner, the impulse of Clara’s push would get her against the turnbuckle as she looked at her rival in the eyes. She looked determined, maybe a little bit too much determined to see this through. “Well Wonder, what now?” she teased, trying to get some reaction out of her rival, learning from every move they made to foresee her strategies.

Clara continued her dominance, pushing Evelyn backwards until they reached the corner. When Evelyn's back touched the turnbuckle, Clara would stop pushing as she would look at her opponent, smiling a little. Her opponent was in a position where she was trapped, and she would like to take advantage of this.

"Well, for starter..." She would rear her right arm back. "How about a little bit of chops?" She said before she attempted to hit Evelyn right across her chest with a knife edge chop. The crowd would react to this by yelling out 'woo!', and Clara would do this a few times, resulting in the crowd to yell out 'woo!' each time Clara's hand hit her opponent's breasts.
