Summer Splash 2020: Friction World Title: Adrian Kytes(c) vs Death Bunny: Hell in a Cell

What went up most definitely went down. It just all became centered on the champions twisted arm with enough gravity-aided might to have Adrian go catapulting over herself with Death landing decidedly more gracefully beside her. One-sided though it was, the exuberant audience apparently had no issue witnessing the Bullet Club Leader getting pummeled and /or slammed all night long. A definite possibility given D.B.'s unrelenting approach, now continuing onward as she tugged Adrian back to her feet by the back of her neck this time to vary up the manner in which she kept dragging her up. A snug front-headlock and clamped on grip to the side of her outfit indicated that Death was gearing up for a vertical suplex, but given their closeness to the ropes, she'd be aiming to to land Adrian right beside her and straddling that top rope in perhaps...no, definitely the most uncomfortable seat in the house.

First her hair, then her arm, now her neck! Adrian was being hauled up by all manner of body parts just so Death Bunny could continue her beating, this time going so far as to lift the champion off her feet to inflict even more punishment. Unfortunately for her, the brunette was able to do something about this attempt at ring-rope assisted harm. Instead of straddling the rope as intended, Adrian landed both feet on the ring apron while she was still close enough to be loosely locked up with the challenger. Close enough for her to grab Bunny by the back of the head and let herself drop down off the apron and onto the floor, giving the rabbit-themed powerhouse a throat-full of the top rope instead.

The only downside Death could have possibly foreseen from having Adrian become unpleasantly and intimately familiar with the bristled surface of the twined rope, was that is might lead to more inane bitching and moaning from the Bullet Club Commando. Regardless, it was a price the Grim One was willing to pay just to witness Adrian ride the top rope like the most unluckiest cowgirl in the world. Unfortunately, Death was introduced to the unforeseen downside of attempting this maneuver. Which was the little troll squirming her way over the top rope to windup standing on the ring apron before pinching Death's throat against the top tether as she dropped outside the ring. The whiplash of which repelled Death backward to a thudding splat, where she started hacking coughs and gagging breaths while shielding her neck. The distressed reaper writhing about and visibly struggling to breathe here...

Peering over the edge of the ring as she clutched the Apron to keep herself upright, Adrian couldn't help but smile as she saw the big scary powerhouse fall to basic biology: getting hit in the throat really really sucked no matter how big you were! So while the Bunny was sucking air, it was time for the champion to get a little extra payback for how much she was getting ragdolled, and this time it wouldn't be by playing psuedo-fairly.

Ducking underneath the ring for a brief moment, Adrian's head kept popping up to make sure that the challenger was still down while she searched for a weapon, settling for a kendo stick on such short notice before scrambling back into the ring and up to her feet, weapon raised as she went to town on the downed rabbit, whacking her with the cane as hard and as many times as she could.

Death was beginning to realize that what Adrian may have lacked in ethical morality, a sense of fair-play, and quite frankly a multitude of other honorable attributes...she more than made up for in being a cunning and deceptive little weasel with a penchant for turning the tables in her favor in the blink of an eye. If this were a nature documentary it'd be about the Survival Techniques Of The More Wily And Elusive Prey Doing What It Does Best To Evade And Counterattack The More Ferocious Predator.

Who was currently sputtering chortled breaths along with whooping coughs until she finally started getting her breathing rate back to some semblance of normalcy...before getting viciously thwacked against her back with ear-splitting savagery. Death recoiling with an arched spine and gnashed teeth stifling just how much that freaking burns, before it was accompanied by a litany of other strikes compelling her to go into a defensive huddle on the ground with D.B. spastically twitching with each wallop and under a hailstorm of boos from an audience still not surprised at Adrian being the first one to bring weapons into the mix...

Adrian was swinging the cane so harshly and so quickly that it was tiring her out as she gave the Death Bunny the beating of her... unlife? Either way, it sucked for the challenger, leaving visible red marks against the pale skin but the champion wasn't feeling all fresh as she gave one last swing down onto DB's shoulder "You see that!?" She panted at the crowd as she leaned against the ropes for support, catching her breath before walking back to give the Grim Hopper another caning for good measure.

One of these days, Death was going to make it a personal mission of hers to find the member of the ring crew who randomly puts kendo sticks underneath wrestling rings, and ensure that they'll think twice about putting these goddamn things there again. Death seething from each blistering wallop leaving crimson red welts behind and putting the Bullet Commando into the driver's seat of the match. The Dead Woman recoiling up to her knees with gnashed teeth from that last thwack against her spine, but slumping against the ropes to her side as Adrian went about pandering to her "fandom."

Death had an arm slung over the middle rope and her bunny-eared head lowered as she took drawn out breaths with what she sensed was Adrian waltzing right back to her to continue her batters practice...except that the first swing would be swiftly caught by D.B's free hand. Her vice-like grip torqued down on the kendo stick as Death grimly arose once more, towering before the B.C. leader with piping hot malice in her eyes. One prompt yank would disarm Adrian of her wooden weapon, which wouldn't be of much use to her anymore considering that Death would grab it at both ends and break it over her lifted knee. Splintered twigs scattered about as both halves of the bamboo stick would be politely handed back to Ade by an enraged reaper breathing though her flared nostrils...

One second Adrian was all ready and willing to bring the pain, capping off her weapon-based assault with a downward strike onto the top of the rabbit's head, the next she was yanked off balance and left to cringe away as now the Grim Hopper had the weapon that had rained down so much suffering on the challenger. The champ might have been able to take as good as she gave, but that didn't mean she had to like it!

Strangely enough, once the big woman was fully upright, she instead handed the kendo stick back to Adrian willingly... just in two separate pieces as the champ was left slack jawed at the sight, the broken wood tumbling out of her hands before she turned to run the heck away.

Therapists would normally not condone feeding into one's temper and instead advise finding a more wholesome way to quell the rage within, but intellectuals like those probably never knew what it was like being belted by a kendo stick enough times to make their skin a sickening shade of blood red. They'd probably be whistling a different tune than, and find Death was well justified in using that scorching agony to bring about a wrathful berserk state. One that allowed her to show Adrian exactly what she thought of that wooden weapon of hers to the dumbfounded shock of the beach going audience...

...with the commando making her wisest decision of the night immediately afterward. The Bunny Reaper From Hell giving chase with newfound alacrity, swiping hands grazing at Adrian's ponytail from behind though never quite getting an affirming grip, but Death's ominous presence could be felt from behind the Bullet Club leader every step of the way, no matter where she ran.

With the demonic rabbit in hot pursuit, Adrian jumped through the ropes as fast as she could without catching anything on the way down to the ringside floor. She felt the Bunny's hand narrowly brush against her hair as she made her undignified escape and had no intention of letting the challenger catch her, to that end as soon as she hit the floor she scurried under the ring, out of sight while she negotiated her way through the dark maze of weapons (that probably had actual purpose when not being used to hit someone over the head) and other such dangerous items out to the side with the cage door. Only for the champ to find that what she wanted was no longer there.

"Hey! Come back!" Adrian yelled out through the wire fence at the Jackson sisters who the medical team had finally gotten around to escorting out on stretchers. "Come on!!! I need those!" she whined as she rattled the cage door, cursing whoever put this together for using an actual padlock and chain.
