Menai VS Lethe Cherry

Menai pulled back immidiatly but still recieved one or two punches to her face. She stood back up though along the way she tried to grasp Lethe's legs to pull them up. If succesfull she'll start trying to spin her body around and pull Lethe's legs and body along for a ride to try and execute a Giant Swing.

Lethe blinked as her legs were grabbed, and she would try to fight her off with a growl. It wasn't good enough, however, and soon she was spinning around in a circle. Lethe clenched her teeth, and would tuck her head in, bracing herself for when Menai would let go.

Menai kept up the spinning till she herself started to get a little dizzy, immidiatly releasing Lethe to let herself stumble back and rest her back against the ropes.

Lethe braced herself as Menai let her go and was sent tumbling across the mat, finally landing on her back and groaning softly. "S... sonuva..." She grumbled, trying to sit back up slowly.

Menai stumbled back against the ropes, leaning against them for those few precious moments she could use to recover, watching Lethe trying to sit back up and Menai immidiatly ran forward again, a little dizzy but tried to make herself accurate enough to run a straight line to Lethe, then when she was close and Lethe sitting up, she tried to send her knee straight to Lethe's face.

Lethe stayed sitting up, her head far too dizzy to attempt getting up any farther. As she heard stomping towards her, she gave up trying to stand up for now, and fell to her back, clutching her head as it was hurting in 7 different flavors right now. She was unaware of the bullet she had dodged as well.

Menai went wide eyes as she missed Lethe by mere inches, her own failing now had her hit the ropes, her throat pressing against the upper ropes and was bounced back and away from Lethe, stumbling back again and falling onto her rear, clutching her throat.

" Gah! "

Lethe rolled over onto her belly, and started to stand up slowly. "Ugh..." She groaned, picking herself up from the mat, and finally stood up, before laying back on the ropes, trying to catch a breath of air.

Menai gently clutched her throat, rubbing her thumb gently in circle over the side of it, pressing her other hand upon the mat and helping herself get onto her own feet, coughing gently when she stroked over the sore spot of her throat, shaking her head from side to side.

" Grr.. "

Lethe finally started to pull herself from the ropes, although her body was growing weary from the fight. She locked her eyes back on Menai, staring her down quietly, but she didn't raise her fists like before. She was too tired to keep the stance up. She had a feeling they were both about ready to burn the last bit of fuel they had, or at least Lethe hoped Menai was in as bad of a way as she was at the moment.
