Triple Threat Battle!- Eclipse Vs. The Tomcats

Megumi quickly flipped over onto her hands and knees and got up. Her kick had missed, but she had broken Billy's momentum now. Megumi felt confident that in this matchup, she could win. Billy might be fast, and might be a strong striker, but Megumi had the size and probably the experience advantage.

"I didn't expect it to be," Megumi said. She got onto her feet, watching Billy's movements carefully. She would move in and fake a punch with her left hand, but in truth prepare a kick down low at Billy's knees, hoping to wound the girl's leg and knock her onto the ground.

Billy bounced lightly on her feet as Megumi got back up, evcited already for the upcoming battle. The blue-haired girl was ready to take down anyone, even if they were her idols. As Megumi approached, Billy prepared herself. When the punch came she was prepared to stop it it, when she notced a change in Megumi's movements, which could only mean one thing: a fient!

Billy then saw the kick she immediately kicked out her own leg to intercept Megumi's for a partial block. Once that was done she would immediately bring her hand up for a brutal palm-strike uppercut to Megumi's chin.

Billy's leg barely managed to stop Megumi's kick from completely flooring her, also surprising Megumi quite a bit. This little girl could read movements like an experienced pro! Megumi realized that Billy probably had gotten in fights before, not the rookie that she seemed to be. She had to be prepared for anything now.

Billy's hand shot upwards at Megumi's chin. Megumi saw it coming, but had no chance to dodge. Instead, her hand shot out and caught Billy's wrist just as she made contact, slowing down the blow and weakening it. Megumi took a step back in surprise. She held onto Billy's wrist tightly, then would grab Billy by the arm and attempt to flip her over her shoulder.

Billy gasped when her arm was caught before it could make contact with Megumi's chin. Her surprise would cost her, and she was suddenly flipped over the girl's shoulder. "WAHH!!" Billy cried out as she was flipped, and let out a frunt as her back collided with the mat. She was dazed from the initial impact, but she was far from out. Before Megumi could capatalize of her weak position, Billy would throw one of her legs upwards and backwards to try and kick Megumi in the head.

Megumi knew that just with that toss, Billy wouldn't be hurt. She didn't expect Billy to retaliate so quickly though, leaping backwards as she got hit in the forehead by yet another lightning-fast kick. With an opponent this fast, Megumi could hardly keep up! She let go of Billy's arm as she leapt backwards, putting some distance between the two of them, rubbing her head where Billy made a glancing blow.

Megumi bent her knees and lowered her head, getting ready to spring forwards. When Billy gets up, Megumi would attempt to leap forwards and tackle her around the waist, either driving her backwards to the ropes or knocking her down onto the mat.

Billy would get up alright, but in a way much faster than Megumi would expect. She planted her hands over her shoulders on the mat, tuck her legs in, and then suddenly kick out, jumping back to her feet in one single fluid motion. "Alley oop!" she'd giggle. Now that she had more time to deal with Megumi. SHe spun around once, and would try to nail Megumi in the cheek with a powerful roundhouse kick.

Megumi saw how agile her opponent was, getting up to her feet in no time at all. She quickly stopped her charge, but not before she got within range of Billy's kick. It hit her on the cheek hard, knocking her off her feet and onto her side, stunning her for a moment. Megumi rolled with the kick, getting out of range of Billy's next attack.

Billy did not chase after Megumi after her sucessful attack, merely bounced in place with a proud smile on her face. "Looks like you're gonna have to try harder, eh Ms. Mutou?" Billy asked with a giggle.

Aria leaned against the ropes with a bored expression. "Sometimes I forget how strong that girl is," she muttered.

"She is quite talented," Hailey agreed with a smile. Her hone with greedy intent for their opponants. "I don't think you'd be able to beat her."

Aria snorted at that. "Don't make me laugh."

"Geez, this is getting annoying," Megumi thought. She thought that she could overwhelm this girl with her superior strength, but that was proving troublesome. Megumi knew that against someone as fast as Billy was, she was at a disadvantage. She couldn't keep up!

So she had to switch tactics. Feigning weakness, Megumi began to get slowly onto her feet, leaving herself full of openings for Billy to exploit. She was going to bait the girl into getting closer. When Billy is within range, Megumi would lunge out and grab her ankle, tugging her down onto the mat.

Billy was at the ready for when Megumi came at her again, but the idol seemed to having a bit of trouble. Frowning uncertainly, Billy began to inch herself foward to see if now was the time to capatalize on her advantage. Did I already beat her? she thought to herself. She thought Megumi Mutou was tougher than this. Then suddenly her ankle was grabbed, causing her to yelp. "EEP!" Billy yelped, and she was yanked done to the mat.

Aria slapped her forehead in exasperation. "Idiot...."
