"Im Number 1!" Clyde Gastin Vs. Zero (For Darius) Complete

Clyde Gastin entered the gym with a loud belch as his feet stepped through the doors. It was a pretty cold and late night at the seemingly empty gym that Clyde would drag his feet through, looking around to see no one around. While the texan was thinking about working out that scrawny body of his, he really just wanted something to do and keep him interested for the night. In short, Clyde Gastin was bored.

"Gah Dammit this thang empty!?!?" Clyde would yell throughout the Gym, kicking a nearby vending machine in frustration.

There was someone in the gym tht night besides the angry young man. In one of the practice rings was Zero Kotobuki, training hard like always. Currently she was working over a grappling dummy, throwing it around with many elaborate techiniques. Power throws, submission holds, she even worked a few strikes into there. With her silent focus of pounding the poor dummy into mush it was no wonder Zero as considered one of the toughest professional wrestlers in the league.

Her training regiment ws interupted when a loud yelling was heard through the gym. Zero turned to look, and saw a man she had never seen before kicking a vending machine. Zero frowned. She was hoping she'd have the gym to herself tonight. Zero wasn't eactly a sociable person, and it was hard to focus on training when there were so many people around you. She decided to ignore the young man, and set back to her training.

Clyde had turned his frustrations away once he saw the young woman going to near leathal work on a training dummy in the practice ring. Clyde examined the girl for a moment, taking time to watch the stern, cold faced woman destroy the dumm. "Heh... My kinda woman..." Clyde said wo himself with confident smirk before making his way to the practice, ring, hopping on the apron and watching the girl from the ropes. "Howdy!" The Texan would say with a grin watching Zero destroy the dummy easily.

"Name's Clyde Gastin babydoll... What be your's..." Clyde would ask , leaning against the ropes casually.

Zero jumped a little when Clyde called out to her, who despite her hopes had come over to talk to her. She looked over at him suspiciously, not trusting that grin of his. For a short while, it seemed like she would not reply to him, just stred at him sielntly with her yellow eyes.

"...Zero," she would answer, not bothering with her last name. "Excuse me." She would then turn back to the dummy, hoping Clyde would leave after that.

"Z-Zero huh? Cool name..." Clyde would say, stumbbling a bit on the odd name before saying it right.

Clyde however, didnt like the idea of being blown off like that, and wouldnt simply just get tossed away like that; but the Texan would keep his cool and do what he did best other than drink, mess with people.

"You're hitting it wrong..." He'd mutter, trying to mess with Zero.

Zero scooped up the dummy for another round, and set it up in the croner like she might do for trapped opponant. With her partner in place, Zero started to send mighty chops across the dummy's chest that would have hurt quite bit had it been a living person.

Unfortunately, her focus was once again interupted by Clyde, who still had not left, nd what as worse had the nerve to correct her. Zero stopped chopping the dummy, and turned to fix Clyde with a glare. She didn't say a word as she turned back to the dummy, pulling it out of the corner and throwing it to the mat with a bodyslam.

"Oh Im sorry did I say something?" Clyde would chuckle before hoping over the ropes and into the ring, bouncing in the canvas for a moment as he looked down at Zero with the dummy she had body slammed.

"Im a little bored tonight... Wanna have a lil' rough rasslin with Ol' Clyde Gastin? Im sure I can beat ya one good time and head back to the pub before tonight is up..." Clyde would say with a confident grin. Although he honestly had his doubts on whether or not he could beat Zero, he was still going to try to have his fun for tonight, even if he risked getting seriously injured.

"A...match?" Zero said quietly. She had to admit the idea did intrigue her, enough that she actually decided to respond to Clyde. She looked down at the dummy that now lay on the mat. She knew eventually that she would have to have a match outside the ring ever since she joined Sex Wars. She had just been avoiding it. She supposed she counted herself lucky that her first match outside the arena was one in the ring.

She looked at Clyde again. "What kind?" she asked.

Clyde smirked at her question and would ponder what sorta fun he could have with Zero. "Hmm... best 3/5 With POW Rules.... You do know POW Rules right?" Clyde would ask, still grinning like a wiley hyena as he approached Zero, standing just before her with a confident stance while his arms were folded over his chest.

Zero nodded at the 3/5 part, but when Clyde mentioned POW, Zero tilted her head in confusion. "POW?" she repeated in a perplexed tone. In all her years as a wrestler she had never heard of such a match. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Clyde. "What's POW?"
