Time to settle in (Open)

He sighed as he entered the campus grounds as he thought to himself, "Why did sensei put me up to this in the first place?". Deciding there wasn't much he could do about it he left his things unpacked in his dorm as he headed out only wearing his t-shirt and baggy pants. "A quick run should help clear my head...." Drake began to run not stopping to think about where he was at or where he was heading, he passed several buildings taking a look as he came through. At some point he began to notice an open field and grinned as he thought he would finally have a chance to take off and push himself running through not stopping to notice other people except for not trying to run into them. He would continue to run until either he ran out of steam or something interesting would get his attention. Drake began to come across various people as he started to slow down from his sprints. Feeling a little fatigued he started to lose focus in front of him giving anyone a good chance to catch up with him, as he slowed down to soft jog in place. Reaching for his water bottle he took strong healthy gulps of the water keeping himself anchored at one place as he drank, softly looking at the people around him.

A young red headed girl came running in the opposite direction, she was dressed in a orange tank top and blue shorts, her hair tied into a long ponytail, she stopped in front of Drake, looked up at him and asked "Think i could have sip of that, forgot my own bottle"

He smiled to the woman, "Sure." He was still catching his breathe a little as he handed her the water bottle pulling his messy jet black from his face as he looked up to the sky for the a moment squinting from the sun with his deep blue hazel eyes. "I'm new here, my name is Drake Ishikawa, it's a pleasure to meet you." He took another moment to lean back and stretch cracking his vertebrae and joints into place as he waited patiently for her to drink and give a response.

"Thanks" the girl said as she took a hold of the water bottle and gulped down nearly all of it, leaving only a tiny bit of water left, when done with drinking the majority of Drake´s water she said "Hehe cool, i am kinda new her too, i am Catelyne Cormac...but everyone calls med Cat", and handed the bottle back to Drake.

As he took back the bottle he kinda chuckled nervously, "They call me Demon ..."( ^_^;;. "So have you found any good matches yet or you still settling in?" He asked her curiously as looked up at her eyes his deep blues looking excited at the idea of any stories of epic battles.

Cat blushed a bit as she answered "well i had one match....but i´d rather not talk about it" taking a bit of an awkward paus after before asking "How about you, any interesting matches or ?"

"No, no I just got here actually, I'm not even unpacked yet." He would start to laugh as he looked at her, "I decided a good run would give me a few of the place and help me settle in." He was beginning to slow down his heart beat and regain his strength as they talked.

"Well you´ll most likely have a great first match Drake and you get used to stuff around her pretty easily." Cat said with a reassuring tone as she looked over Drake, he was quite tall she thought.

He would smile again. "Thank you for your confidence, but my sensei sent me here to get over my weakness..." He spoke weakly ashamed that his little flaw could be such a huge problem for him. "You see.... I'm extremely shy around women (^_^;;; ) infact I'm surprised that I'm even able to talk to you at all" He would begin to laugh nervously but was completely serious, it was a mystery that this woman could comfort him enough to speak let alone tell her things about himself. He began to think, "Maybe it's because she was so kind and was the first one to make a move to talk to me?"

"Oh...well i suppose a thanks is in order or something, an i don´t think you will be able to keep that way for too long........some girls here can be extremely........'forward' " Cat said with a nervous chuckle, and blushing slightly.

Cat looked around for a bench, when she found it she would point towards it, and then walk to it and seat herself.
