Tosh slipped into the ring and stood by one corner, smiling a bit at Makie's remarks. "Cute ideas huh? Now who said I gave you that hammer for something like that?" he would say with a bit of a chuckle to his voice.

He would stretch his arms a little before nodding at Makie, checking her body out one more time before making sure to tell himself to keep himself under control, or else she would. "I'm ready, ding ding." Max said before moving slowly towards the center of the ring.

As soon as Max said "ding ding," Makie sprang out of her corner, hopping lightly on her feet as she began to circle Max. She eyed him carefully, noting his height and build, watching the way he moved and where he was putting his weight.

Then, moving quickly, she darted forwards, faking a clothesline before spinning to the side and launching a hard knee at Max's abdomen, partly to get the first blow in and partly to see how well he could take it.

Max followed Makie as she circled him, eying her movement as she nimbly circled him. He had managed to dance his way nearly full circle with Makie before she launched herself at him.

Max saw the clothesline coming, prompting him to put out his arms to attempt to grab the arm to counter into an armbar. However, he grabbed at nothing. He had been--"Oomph!" Max was bending over from having the wind knocked from him due to the surprise knee there, but that didn't stop his reflexes from trying to grab at the offending knee. This wasn't the way Max wanted to start out the spar.

As Makie had hoped, Max fell for the feint, and wound up doubling over as she buried her knee into his midsection. To her surprise, however, the moment he doubled over, Max's arms shot out, grabbing at Makie's outstretched knee. Her eyes widened as she nearly lost her balance. This guy was quick!

Hopping around on one foot, Makie silently cursed. She reacted quickly, however, hoping to use Max's own positioning against him by grabbing the back of his head and leaning backwards, pressing her free knee against Max's wrist and tilting back to flip him over her onto his back, hoping that his leaning position would make this easier.

Max was still regaining his breath as he held Makie's knee captive. He was ready to move upwards in hopes of pulling the athletic girl's weight out from under her, but it seems like she was one step further along than he was.

He felt his short silver hair ruffled as his head was grabbed Max soon felt a discomfort in his wrist followed by the entire ring spinning about him. Before he knew what was happening, he was laying on his back rather easily, waiting for the room to catch up with him. "Crafty girl you are..." he managed to say, although he knew not for how much longer Makie planned on letting him talk.

Makie smiled a little at the boy. "Thanks, I get that a lot." Well, that technically wasn't true, but she reserved the license to be a little creative with the truth when sparring with strange silver-haired guys.

As Max lay on the mat, Makie thought on maybe letting him get up before resuming their match, seeing as this was a friendly spar and all. Even though he was in a prime position for a leg drop, she decided against it, keeping her distance as he slowly recuperated. "If I ever start to get too tough for you, just be sure to let me know," she teased.

Max was surprised to not have the feeling of an impact or any of his appendages grabbed and placed in a painful position, but took his graces where he could as he rolled over and started to get to his feet. He would look up with a slight smile on his face. "And you were worried about me being a problem?" he was of course saying it with a joke in the air, just nodding in Makie's direction.

He knew that since Makie had allowed him to recuperate, he would do the same if the situation arose, at least for now. "So now, you seem to be rather quick, but how about your," Max would raise his arms to the air with hands stretched open, "strength?" Max realized that a test of strength between a man and woman would be hardly fair, but he was curious how Makie would accept the challenge, after all, she wasn't a twig. The pain in his gut told him so.

Wordlessly, Makie edged towards Max, raising her own arms as though to accept his test of strength. He certainly did look like he probably had the strength advantage over her, she thought, but there were ways around that.

Interlocking her fingers with Max's, Makie pushed against them, digging her heels into the mat. After keeping him focused on their battle of strength for half a minute, however, Makie would suddenly twist her lithe body, aiming to duck under Max's arm and twist it behind him in a chickenwing hold.

As they interlocked their fingers, Max began pushing back against Makie's hands. She was quite formidable in Max's opinion. He knew though, that this lock-up wouldn't last forever. His intentions were to try bringing Makie's hands outwards before twisting them under, but by the time he was ready to start that, her more agile strategy was already underway.

It caught Max by surprise as he felt like an unwilling dance partner while Makie ducked under his arm, only to twist it behind him in that chickenwing hold.

"Ahh! Damn it!" he shouted as she locked in the hold. He could only reach behind him, trying to grab at her wrist, trying to apply pressure to attempt to break the hold if he could.

Makie winced as she felt Max grabbing at her wrist, twisting. Although his move hurt slightly, Makie knew that she held the advantage, and continued to twist hard on Max with the chickenwing, pouring more pressure onto his wrist and elbow. From behind, Makie was able to deny Max much of the advantage of his height and weight.

After keeping Max's arm locked for a few more seconds, Makie would suddenly twist her body to the side, aiming to whip Max towards the ropes.
