Poll regarding the possibility of Mods booking PPV matches.

Sat Oct 24, 2020 1:43 am by Old_Man_Tai

So, basically, was wondering all of your thoughts regarding the possiblity of mods booking ppv matches.

The thought was, since people often seem to have trouble finding partners for ppv matches until the last minute or so, what if the mod team was to step in and, well in advance of the show, book the show ourselves, and try to put together the best matches we can, including title defenses, no.1 contender matches, and so on and so forth?

While I doubt our more popular members need such a …

General Information

Name: Hong Jun Meilin
Alias: The Dragon
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Red
Height: 5'8
Weight: 135 lbs
Origin: Japan
Alignment: Heel
Entrance Music: LOUDNESS - The Eternal Soldiers[/url:1wj9mfpv]

Combat Information

Combat Attitude: Though not all too eager at the start, if her opponent proves to be skillfull, she'll become more alive
Combat Strategy: Technical strikes using Martial Arts and wrestling together
Combat Style: Shaolin, Wrestling
Combat Type: Technique/Strength/Speed
Usual Attacks: Combinations, never usual attacks
Usual Matches: Any

Style Information:

Wrestling: She took up wrestling after she found that she had enough experience in the martial art section. She took a few classes before she went for matches. Sure it was difficult, but she learned from mistakes and even enhanced her current abilities by concentrating on what she could and couldn't do.

Martial Arts: Having been taught the basics when she was only six years old, she grew to develop the skills for years of practice with her father and grandfather, not to mention the more soft, meditation techniques from her mother to always make sure she never pushed herself through her limits without being ready to endure the pain along it.

Art of Combat:

With the numerous styles Jun knows, she could mix up over hundreds of attacks together and bring them into a solid combo. Despite knowing many of the arts but never mentioning them all, she hardly ever goes in the offense. Why she is never offensive is because of her main style, she had learned Shaolin from her grand father and knows that it is not always about attack, rather the defense and the countering part that makes her arts bloom. Because of this, Jun has altered her training style from Strength to Speed. If she is fast enough, she will able to dodge and counter many regular blows and turn them into masterpieces of counter attacks.

Off course, Jun will not simply wait and take any punishment. She also knows a thing or two about offensive arts that could lead to lightning fast strikes. If her opponent is not able to defend themselves propely, they will be met with series of lightning fast blows that could hurt them overtime. It is said that Jun is actually able to punch a person six times in one second. Even though the attacks will not be that painfull, they would certainly ache if she hits the same mark over and over.

Combination strikes are also a part of her arsenal of ' weaponry '. She can use her strikes to stun or angle her opponent into a right position for her to execute either a powerslam or a submission hold. Her opponent will have to act quick when Jun goes on the offense. There are times she will become unstoppable and will not stop her momentum of attacks untill her opponent finds a way to stop or block her blows. While she does enjoy a good momentum, she will not get greedy and keep attacking when her opponent blocks even one of her punches.

There is a hint when she goes on the offensive though. Since she always keeps her coat on during fights, it became noticeable that whenever Jun brings her hoodie over her head, she starts to bring the fight to her opponent rather then just awaiting the blows and during street fights, she turns brings her headphones over her ears, selects a song, puts her hoodie over her head and starts blasting away with powerful blows. While it's unwise to keep her headphones around her neck in a match, she finds it too bothersome to remove it so it can be expected she will use it.

Attack information

Favorite Attacks:

Breaking Shoulder Thrust - Once she is within range where she could deal damage, Jun will quickly grab her opponents wrists, lifting one arm crossways up while the other goes crossways down, giving Jun the space she needs to move in and thrust her shoulder hard into her opponent's chest, releasing their wrists at the same time to make them stumble back from the blow.

Speed Breaker - Once Jun is ready for the offensive, she rushes in to break the distance between the two, swooping in low and launching out a sweep kick straight towards her opponent's feet to make them fall forward, quickly kneeling up and grabbing her opponent's leg along the way and put it into a ankle lock to keep them trapped.

Commanding Clutch - Just when her opponent is about to clothesline her or go for a sloppy punch, Jun dives down, goes past her opponent and twists her body to the side to send a hard kick straight into her opponents lower back to make them fall onto their stomach, then quickly crouching low and kicking off her feet to jump forward, landing upon her opponent's back to pin them and pulls them in a camel clutch

Counter Finishers:

Dragon Tornado - Standing ready for an attack, she waits until her opponent tries to kick her, quickly catching that foot with both hands and solidifying her grip in those few precious seconds. Then before her opponent would attack again, she twists sharply upon the foot to make her opponent fall and quickly but forcefully try to spin around for a single legged giant swing, throwing them once given enough speed.

Dragon Strike - While it is rather a savage counter, it is still something that would make her opponent think more about who they are facing. Once Jun is ready to bring the pain to her opponent, she will muster up the focus within her fist, clenching it tightly and awaiting her opponent's mistake. Then when her opponent tries to got for a charge attack like a clothesline, she will move in, jump sideways to the direction left defenceless and slam her fist straight into their gut.

Dragon Thrust - Also known as Blind Thrust, It's one thats starts off like a dance like move. When her opponent is about to land a punch on her, she will catch it with both hands, then hold the arm up as high as she could while she spins around and past her opponent, releasing the arm so she could shoulder thrust her opponent right in the back.

Wrestling Finishers:

Rising Dragon - After she has taken her opponent to the mat, she brings them up to sit with Jun standing behind them. She will then grab both of her opponents wrists and holding them up while placing one foot on their back, applying pressure upon their back at first while she pulls on their arms. Then she slowly starts to lower herself onto her back, forcing her opponent to rise up onto their feet, resulting to Jun using both feet to press into her opponents back while pulling hard onto their arms, keeping them on their feet but bend backwards quite painfully.

Dragon Stretch - Towering over her opponent while her opponent is on their stomach. She reaches back to grab her opponent by the ankles and tuck them under her armpits, firmly trapping them and then reaches down to grab them by the chin, lifting them body off the mat while she pulls hard on their chin.

Dragon Clutch - With her opponent on their stomach, Jun is quick to get herself prepared, locking her opponents legs with on of hers, then leans back to crash her back with her opponents back and brings her hands up to grab her opponent by the chin, locking them in a inverted STF. She then forcefully rolls them both over so that Jun is on her stomach instead. She can then really pour in her strength in this position as she squeezes them.

Brawler Finishers:

Dragon Hammer - Going on the offensive, she is quick to reach her opponent, sending her fist straight into their gut to make them bend over, she then pulls her arm back, doing a single spin to get besides her opponent and sends that same fist straight down to the back of her opponents head to send them down to the mat.

Dragon Rhythm - Able to bring the focus straight into the match and show off her true blast of speed. Once the match had meet it's climax and her opponent unable to defend themselves properly, she moves in for the kill, sending a barrage of fast punches, to her opponents chest. While they do not hurt that much, Jun hits the same spot over and over and with her speed, it's quite alot. She finished her flurry of punches with a spin chop strike to the side of her opponent's neck to send them down.

Dragon Pulse - This is a move that Jun still finds a bit risky because it can injure her opponent quite a bit and that is something she does not aim for. It starts off with Jun gathering her strength for what seemed to be a single strike, waiting for her opponent to get in close and be open for her strike. Just when her opponent is about to make a move, Jun beats her to the punch by sending a swift but very powerful palm strike right against her opponent's forehead. However, Jun will not allow them to move away, quickly wrapping her fingers in their hair and twists them forcefully to the side to make them stumble to Jun's side, who releases them and sends her strongest shoulder thrust right into their chest, sending them backwards.

She is someone who has a hard time adjusting herself to her surroundings no matter how long she stays there, especially when it is the city. She prefers to be somewhere more quiet, to be at peace with a more harmonic enviroment. It's hard to find, but she managed to buy a place where she could rest and train alike, far away from the city itsself.

She isn't someone who really goes out at night, she doesn't have that attitude people her age have about partying and all that, she prefers to stay inside and train some more. She isn't really all that interested in other stuff except reading. She's rather clumbsy when it comes to terms of love, gaming or even having lunch with friends. She doesn't really know how to interact with others without fighting.

She used to be child that was always picked on because she was weak. She couldn't protect herself nor the things she cared for. Everything was stolen from her because she couldn't hold onto them. Seeing how his child was slowly starting to become scared of everything around her, he decided to train her. It was uncommon for a female in their family, to recieve special training arts other then the one they were forced to learn, one that was only used for countering and meditation. However, she was thought more then just that because of her father, who trained her to become offensive when need to be, defensive when she had no choice and off course, technical if the chance to do so strikes. This went on for a few years untill their grandfather found them training at night.

He wasn't pleased by it, knowing that it might turn out too well but when her grandfather wanted to discipline her, she resisted. It was then when her grandfather the fire in her eyes, a dragon that was awakening because of her anger. She was so thankfull that her father was teaching her how to stand up for herself and protect the things she cared for, that she would never allow anyone else to interfere. Her grandfather suddenly started to fight her, causing her to become defensive at first, making sure she matched her steps and using her forearms and palms to block or deflect. She did everything her father taught her, to use the abilities to be defensive. Then all of a sudden, something inside of her told her to strike, to show him she didn't have to put up with this. The opportunity presented herself when she deflected her grandfather's open open strike by smashing her forearm up to his wrist, making his palm graze past her face.

It took only a second to realize what she was doing but she knew she had to do this. If she kept defending, she would never win, she would never be strong, she would lose the ability to train.. With her grandfather's chest right open, she thrusted her palm with all her strengt towards his chest, his forearm coming to block it but the hit was so powerful that his forearm moved with the palm and struck his own chest, forcing her grandfather to stumble back and fall down. He held onto his chest, clearly in pain while her father looked at her, her eyes that were directed to her grandfather, her unsteady breathing as if she unleashed something so fierce, that it took everything out of her. Was she really that strong to inflict that much already?

Her grandfather, although still reluctant with the idea of having a woman be training in the arts of the FIerce Dragon, deciding to help teach Jun every night aslong as she helped him do chores in his house untill his arm would rejuvenate from that strike she gave it. It started off pretty horrible because Jun only knew a few good strkes but not enough, but it changed after a few weeks, where she showed so much progress, something that even her father did not accomplish. He grew proud of Jun, who still showed the spirit of a true dragon in her eyes, the fire of dedication that never once weakened even through the many hardships she faced.

A few more years had passed and Jun made the decision to move out, thanking her father and grandfather for their training and knowledge they passed onto her, she also thanked her mother for the training she was given to meditate and keep her mind at peace, and her grandmother for her sound advice in life. She set off with the supplies and money given to find the house they had bought for her. To her suprise she found it to be almost exactly like the one her parents had. The Traditional Chinese house with a large garden she could train in.

After she had settled in, she went to look for a job. She first started as a waitress at a Chinese restaurant, fitting the job well but she was too clumbsy when it came to talking to the customers and often stuttered. It was so hard to talk to people she didn't know, that she ended up quitting. She then tried out being the receptionist at another restaurant but off course, the same mistake came. She quit that too after less then a day. When she walked home, she was ambushed by a pair of thugs who wanted her belongings, For some reason she had no problem speaking to them, perhaps because her instincts kicked in, the ones that she needed to fight. She warned them not to mess with her but they didn't heed to warning. After soundly beating them up, the police came, someone saw what had happened and called them. Then Jun started to stutter again when she talked to them, now that the battle was over, she couldn't seem to talk straight since that person was a stranger aswell.

After a few days she went job hunting again but nothing that could actually benefit her, she couldn't talk to people and other jobs were just too weird for someone like her to do. She decided to search for something that matched her talents and became a martial arts instructed at a dojo near her place. She actually enjoyed that, she could talk to the students and since most of them were children, she had no trouble showing them kindness whether they were strangers or not. She heard one of their parents talk about something nearby that she wanted to put her child in when she'd be older and since curiousity kicked in, she decided to investigate the place herself. It was odd, since she never really seen or done wrestling other then submission techniques. She watched a few matches before she made up her mind and decided to join the AFW, with the extra payment she would get from matches, she could still send some money to her family so they would know she had become succesfull enough to share her wealth.

Still, her lust for more strength seemed neverending, she wanted to become more powerfull then her family, even the federation she just joined. She wanted more power to protect herself and those around her, not wanting to revert back to that weak child she used to be. Because of this, she never ceases training unless she need a small break. Strength was something she wanted, and she will have it, keep it and unleash it.

- She has various training puppets and courses in her yard to train with.
- Though she likes the customs of her own country, she is a big fan of ramen.
