Anime Wrestling Entertainment - Recruitment / Roster

Anime Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) is a small, recently-founded, professional female wrestling enterprise, based on links with its much larger parent company, AFW. Where AFW provides intense, unscripted wrestling bouts and sexfights, the AWE looks to produce an entertainment product sold through a series of professional wrestling shows. It currently uses smaller AFW venues to put on a weekly programme, aired mainly through the internet for now.

AWE founder - Sarah McElland



Sarah is founder and current President of the AWE and has a large personal stake in the business (although it is ultimately controlled by Cassandra Sellers).

Sarah is in her mid 30s with two small children. Although she started a career in professional wrestling in her late teens, she never made it beyond the smaller independent shows, and by her mid 20s decided to quit to focus on family life with her husband. However, when her recent divorce left her on her own again, she decided to re-enter the industry, investing money from the settlement to try and create her own successful promotion.

Although a little inexperienced, Sarah is intelligent and likes to think of herself as professional and hard-nosed. Fairly extrovert, she is good with people and fair with her staff, though she will expect them to work hard and put themselves out there for the promotion. Sarah took part in some fairly risquà matches and gimmicks in her own wrestling career, and wonâ€t have much patience with wrestlers who are shy about doing the same.

Sarah works as manager of AWE and will have the final word in booking matches for the weekly shows.

Nationality - Chinese-American
Background - Originally a well-known weightlifter, tall and well-toned Ana decided there would be better opportunities for her skills in wrestling. She is proud of her strong, muscular physique and is disdainful of weaker-looking girls.

Ring Name: Anaconda
Alignment: Face
Gimmick: A powerhouse who focuses on pure athleticism, and will kick the ass of frauds or cheaters.

Trademark Moves: Gorilla Press, Bodyscissors
Finisher: Serpent Squeeze (Reverse Bearhug followed by German Suplex Pin)

Assets: Muscular (+2 power moves)
Huge (+5 starting Heat)
Flaws: Works Stiff (More likely to legitimately hurt opponent)
Primadonna (complains when booked to lose or look foolish)

Background: Evelyn is a rookie who got into pro wrestling as a way of showcasing her acting skills, but despite her lack of experience she is finding it surprisingly enjoyable. She is generous and friendly to the other girls, eager to learn and develop (even if she does find that flashing her breasts in the ring is a good substitute for ability).

Ring Name: Eve
Alignment: Heel
Gimmick: Free-spirited but quite self-righteous hippy who likes to think of herself as at one with nature and is extremely uninhibited. Plays into ‘dumb blonde†tropes, and acts pretty cattily towards those who arenâ€t nature lovers.

Assets: Hentai Wrestler (+2 kinky moves)
Flaws: Injury Prone (adds 1 to any injury taken)
