"No difference, huh? I think it'll make a very, very big difference, Saldano." She smiled a very knowing smile, trying hard to keep herself from laughing like a schoolgirl. She was giddy. Not just happy - but giddy, like a child with a Christmas present she'd been waiting two years to open. She was honestly starting to grow weary on religion, but she had prayed for this rematch, and sure enough, it was happening.

She gave the hand a good squeeze before pulling away and stepping to the ropes, making her exit. "See you in the ring, Saldano. Looking forward to your education."

“Weâ€ll see,” Lorenza replied. She stared at the goofy smile on Carmenâ€s face. The girl didnâ€t even bother to hide how happy she was that this rematch was going to happen. And, as much as she hated to break her cool, confident demeanor, Lorenza could not help but smile back. She had retired from boxing, and there was only one opponent for whom she would come out of retirement. That woman was standing right in front of her. Now, they were going to have the rematch that both of them wanted and needed.

“See you in the ring, Rodriguez,” Lorenza replied as they let go of each otherâ€s hands. With the handshake done, there was nothing more to be said. Lorenza would wait for her rival to exit the ring, and then would get out of it herself, walking back up the ramp, heart pounding loudly in her chest as she would head immediately back to her apartment to try on her old boxing gear again.
