Corey Sniper Vs. Yui Kanno - A Surprising Welcome

Corey let Yui get up, not attacking her since she was playing fair. She moved to the center of the ring. When Yui gets up, Corey would offer a test of strength, trying to make Yui focus more on the match, and to get her to focus as well. Corey was a little out of it as well.

"Don't lose sight of the match," Corey thought.

Yui rose her hands up and grabbed Corey's. She then started to push as much as she can. It probably wasnt enough. In the school she was known as a weakling. So how strong could she be? Then,she heard Corey's hint. Yui stopped to think about her school nickname and just focused on pushing.

Corey felt Yui pushing back and smiled. She felt Yui's strength and measured it, finding it less than hers. Well, that was to be expected, since Corey was a former professional hitman. She's been trained in fighting.

"So she's serious now? That's good," Corey thought. She would increase her strength, intending to push Yui backwards into the ropes.

Yui suddenly felt Corey pushing stronger. She had no other choice than step back,until she was finally against the ropes. She clinches her teeth as she cant do anything to stop Corey's tremendous strength. If her opponent keeps pushing,Yui would fall out from the ring.

"Ngh..."

After her opponent was against the ropes, Corey stopped pushing. She had used up quite a bit of energy, and needed a quick break to recover some of the strength in her arms, both of which were a bit sore from the continued exertion. She quickly backed up a step and aimed a kick right at Yui's gut, trying to use the ropes to deal extra damage as Yui bounces off of them.

Yui's eyes widened and fell down to her knees,holding her belly after the powerful kick. Was it a coincidence that Corey has hitten her weak spot? She started to cough heavily as she fell on all fours. By now,everybody would notice that her gut is her weak point,and that info getting public wont help her in her next matches.

Corey was surprised that Yui collapsed after that one kick. She had not kicked that hard, but Yui looked hurt badly. Corey decided to take the advantage. She grabbed Yui and pulled her up, giving her a long look in the face to see if she was alright. She then held onto Yui's arm and tried to whip her into the corner.

Corey would have no problem whipping Yui to the corner. The school girl hit hard the post with her back. Normally,Yui would be up in a few seconds,but after that strong kick,it will take her an entire minute to get back to her feet. The crowd just watch,worried for Yui.

Corey did not try to hurt Yui more this time. She did nove over to the corner and got down to Yui's level, looking the girl in the face. Corey was normally cold and ruthless, but she felt she did not need that in this match. She did not need to appear cruel in front of the audience.

"What's wrong?" Corey asked, "Is that really all you've got?"

"Whew....Good job Corey..." Yu hardly reached to say between coughs. After a few moments more,she would finally stand up and take a few steps back from Corey,preparing herself to connect her first attack in the match. Mako was watching everything,and everytime Yui receives a hit,Mako covers its eyes with its ears.

"Let's continue!!" Yui cheerfully said when she stood up.
