A fine rain fell overhead, running down her leather attire and making her hair cling to the frame of her face. Nat felt unhindered by the rain, making her way to the ring via a narrow walkway across the grass in the field, spotted with patches of dirt now turned to mud. The long bleachers parallel to the ring had roofs over them for the audience, but the fighters werenâ€t as lucky. The mats were designed to minimize slipping, at least.

Nat wiped what rain she could off her blue skin with her gloved hands, even if her sense of touch was dulled enough that she couldnâ€t feel the cold. She cracked some knuckles and joints noisily as she stretched herself out.

“Hope they gimmee somebody fun,” Nat mused to herself. “Hate to find out they canâ€t take a punch.”

Eden steps onto the walkway and looks out at the ring. She hesistates before walking down the walkway as she sees the uncovered ring. Uncovered in the rain? Hope it doesn't flood me out... oh no, that might not be good, she thinks to herself as she shudders a bit before walking down the walkway. She's glad that it's cool at least to go with the rain, but she keeps her head down as her fake hair starts sticking to her. head. Her blouse is already stuck to her form as she makes it to the ring, noting the muddy spots around the ring and the damp grass. Some of the lightly glowing blue lines under her blouse can even be seen already.

She'll slide under the ropes and head to her corner before finally looking over at her opponent. She blinks a bit and tilts her head in confusion. She'll wait a bit before saying, "Hello... Hope it's a good match?" accidentally posing it as a question in her slight confusion at her opponent. Something just doens't seem right to her, but she just can't put her finger on it.

Nat folded her arms and stuck her chest out a bit proudly. "Fuck yea, it will be,"she beamed, whipping her head so that her wet hair whipped over one shoulder. "Considerin' your glowin, I'd pretty much be sure of it. I mean, REALLY glowing, by the way. I don't know if that's normal for you, so just a head up, man..."

She'd say it with a touch of playful but genuine concern. Just in case.

Eden shudders a bit to shake off the collecting water since she's starting to worry about the water getting through her fake skin, though it won't just seep through it easily. She'll look up at the zombie girl again, not quite sure about what to think of her blue-skinned opponent across the ring as she speaks. Afterwards, she looks over herself and notice her light-weight orange blouse soaked through as she responds, "System checks: Good. Everything's okay with me. I'm Eden by the way," she'll introduce herself as she gives a slight bow. She's not really paying much attention to what's going on around her, and will likely miss the bell when it goes off as she tries to compute what exactly is across from her in the wet ring.

"Natalie Waldgrave. S'what it said on my tombstone, anyway. People usually just call me Nat cuz it's easy, just like me," she laughed.

"System check?" she'd ponder. "Sounds screwy... maybe I'll luck out and find an off switch..."

The bell went off, and Nat would react in a flash. She'd barge across the ring at full speed, leaping up when she was near Eden and attempting to throw a knee slam into her chest/stomach region in midair.

Tombstone? Aren't those for the dead? But she looks like she's not dead... Eden thought. She just couldn't get out of trying to logically think about the possibility of undeath as the bell rang. Though she saw Nat charging at her, she just couldn't bring herself to defend from it in time as the knee connects with her chest sending her back into the turnbuckle since she didn't even move away from her corner.

Though her simulation will kick in and make her act like the wind was knocked out of her, Eden attempts to wrap her arms around Nat's knee in her chest and whatever else she can grab onto so that as she rocks back from hitting the turnbuckle, she can try to dump Nat right over the ropes to the soaked turf below.

Nat would sway from the yanking of her knee, surprised at the android's strength. She staggered to try and keep herself upright, but one well-timed pull made her flail too far to one side and topple through the ropes and onto the grass.

She'd splash in a puddle, making her even wetter as she shook her head to whip the rain and hair from her face (a quick spell of vulnerability) before looking back up at Eden and grinning, making an inviting wave towards her to come meet her.

Rubbing the middle of her chest where the knee hit as she looked down at Nat, Eden would 'catch her breath' before giving a slight smile in return to the offer to join Nat outside the ring.

Not quite calculating things well enough, she'll try to grab onto the ropes and use her momentum to 'swing' herself into a slide out of the ring to be with Nat. However, if uninterrupted by the time her boots make it to the soft, wet ground, they'll grab the grass and tear a strip of it out as she falls onto her side in the mud awaiting underneath. She'll give a yelp of suprise from the slip and take the hard landing on her right side in the mud with a splash.

"Gift horses and mouths," Nat said with a shrug as the weighty robot girl splashed down, spraying the zombie's pants with mud. She'd leap into the fray regardless, rushing in and putting a heavy boot to Eden's side. She'd follow with a kick to the ribs if she could, but her offensive focus would throw her off in this difficult terrain. She would slip as soon as the kick hit, making her slide and fall backward in the mud, finally dazed for a moment beside the android.

Eden tried to push herself up quickly before Nat's attacks could come in, but she used too much force and got nowhere before the boot caught her in the side, causing Eden to give a light yell in pain. Maybe I should start the default at that of an athlete instead of an average person, she'd think to herself just before the kick connected with her 'ribs', making her yell in pain again but also making her roll out of the line of torn-up grass.

Eden looks over at Nat after she hears her fall to the ground as well and decides to go for an offensive. Though slightly hurt, she'll quickly slide across the ground towards Nat. Thus, tearing up a little more grass, getting more mud onto the front of her body, and popping off a couple buttons of her blouse as she does. Eden will attempt to grab the zombie's legs and hold them to her sides while at least getting into a kneeling position like she's going for a kneeling giant swing of sorts, but she will keep slipping as she tries to get up to her knees, making her hold off on the "swing" part.
