Nathan Weed vs. Kozue Kaburagi - First Strike: Standard Match

There really was nothing quite like waking up to the sound of booing.

It was all Kozue heard as she came to, staring up at the ceiling. That, and the sound of Love and War blasting out over the loudspeakers, an unquestionable indication of what had happened while she was knocked out and who'd won. She looked from side to side, expecting to see Nathan somewhere in the ring while the referee raised his hand in triumph. Instead, she saw...nothing. "...the fuck, what the fuck?"

She sat up and rubbed her head, then blew a few hairs out of her eyes to get a better view of the ring. The referee was over on the side, leaning against the ropes, waving off to the ramp as Nathan made his way to the back. He'd won, but the guy didn't look like he'd won, and she could make a good guess on why.

It might've been one thing if they'd had a shitty match, but they didn't have a shitty match. The crowd wouldn't have given two shits about a shitty match, but Nathan had been a great opponent, really pushed her to the limit. It had been a real test for her, all the way, and to have it end like this...

Kozue shook her head after Nathan disappeared into the back, rolling out of the ring herself a moment later. She groggily walked up the ramp with her hands on her hip, staring at the floor while thoughts raged across her brain. An idea was starting to form. Something she could do to turn this into a positive.

She needed to talk to someone about scheduling a promo...
