Brittany Luuve vs. River Styx - The Once and Future Queen (Hardcore Championship Title Match)

Styx just rolled her eyes as Brittany were tumbling away. "Yeah, what kind of idiot would bring a steel-toed boot to a hardcore match? It's almost like I want to hurt you, or something." She flipped over to her chest and started to push up, evne though it was rough going all the way. Brittany threw some mean punches and Styx's world was still appropriately rocked. "I should've done like you. Come dressed like a goddamn runway model."

In fact, that gave Styx another idea, on how she could do some damage with mininum effort. While Brittany was reeling, she reached down and grabbed the former champ's ankle, lifting her leg up. She grabbed the shoe, pulled it off, and tried to jab the sharp heel into Brittany's knee, hoping she'd get it right where the bones connected. It wasn't sharp enough to pierce skin, but it would send a shock through her whole leg.

Brittany was still recovering when Styx removed her shoe. "What the fuck are you doing?" Brittany said before letting out a loud scream as Styx stabbed her knee. "You fucking bitch." Brittany said as she tried to pull her leg away from Styx and her own shoe. Brittany knew that if Styx damaged her leg too much it would make winning the fight nearly impossible.

Styx would have loved nothing more than to keep stomping Brittany until she was a quivering mess on the floor. Actually, that wasn't quite true- she would have really liked winning her goddamn title. But this was a close second.

Brittany started to move away before she had the chance, though, and Styx lost her grip before she could close in. Trying to make some distance - smart. Brittany didn't become the hardcore champ by being a complete idiot. But it wouldn't save her.

Styx leaped after and tried to come down on her with a straight knee drop, looking to sandwich her between the floor.

Brittany was still moving away from Styx when Styx leaped into the air. Brittany immediately rolled out of the way leaving only the ground for Styx to land on. "Fuck you bitch." Brittany said as she would try to get some more distance from Styx so that she could recover and hoping that Styx hurt herself a lot more Brittany was at the moment.

As Brittany and River fought it out, a hooded figure slowly made it's way to the front row, sidling in between members of the crowd fully enjoying the two brawlers battle it out. Frowning as she saw Britanny backing off. While many people had a less-least-favourite in the match very few were really willing to commit to supporting one or the other. This figure, however was not so bipartisan. 

Flashing something towards the security guards to prevent their interference, the unknown element jumped the rail with a steel chair in hand and slid into the ring behind Styx and, much to the audience's confusion, gently tapped her on the shoulder with her free hand.

Styx was roughly reminded why she never did shit like jumping too much and stayed away from all that crazy high-risk shit. Half the time, it wound up serverely biting people in the ass. Like this instance, where she wound up crashing down on her knee.

Styx cried out as she crashed and burned on the floor, and it was only the support of a conveniently placed chair that kept her from falling flat. Using it for support, she started to pulled herself back up, already thinking of ways she could get the boisterous bitch back for the growing ache in her leg.

She was slightly distracted by the light tap on her shoulder - probably some security guard trying to get in the middle. Stupid.

"Hey!" She spun around. "Will you dumb shits stop-"

As soon as River started to turn around, the hooded woman had already began her swing, taking a long swipe to smash Styx like she was playing T-Ball, waiting for the oh-so satisfying smack before she flipped her hood off, and clued audience in to what just happened.

Her head was bandaged up but there was no mistaking who it was, and it was clear just why she had just viciously attacked River. Adrian Kytes was back at it with a manic grin on her face. "Yeaah, I'm a sore loser too. Who'd have thought it?"

Styx had just enough time to turn around and see the hooded figure swinging for the fences. She could realize what was about to happen. She could wince at the incoming impact. She could understand that the hardcore title was about to slip through her fingers, and be royally pissed off about it.

The chair's crack was enough to make her ears ring, and the hit instantly busted her nose for the second time in as many weeks, creating an arc of blood as she fell flat on her back. Everything was hazy. Couldn't move. Couldn't fight. But Styx could hear, and she swore there was a familiar voice over the crowd raucous cheers.

Brittany was just as shocked as anyone else when Adrian came out and bashed Styx in the face with a chair. Brittany stared in disbelief at Adrian for a few seconds and when she was sure that Adrian wasn't going to do the same thing to her Brittany began to crawl towards Styx. Brittany would immediately crawl on top of Styx to go for the pin hoping that the chair shot to the face knocked Styx out for good.

"1...!"

In a few hours, Styx would be in her apartment, downing painkillers, and cursing up a storm. Things would be smashed. There would be screams. It would be an adult temper tantrum, and there would hardly be an unbroken or upright object in her room after that.

"2...!"

But that was later. Right now, Styx was done. She could just lay there and moan like a bitch, while Brittany moved in for the cover. She tried to make her body jolt, just enough to break the pin, but it wasn't happening.

"3...!"

The crowd shook with a mix of cheers and jeers as the referee came in for the final count, heralding the return of their hardcore champ. The first two-time champion of anything in AFW history. The new, true hardcore queen: Brittany Luuve.
