Discharged

4 days ago, I experienced some minor chest pain and thought nothing of it. The next day an hour after waking up, the pain suddenly hit me and was enough to eventually force some tears out of my eyes. I won't bore you with the many details from the doctors, but they suspected me of having a heart attack. I'm only 23, my arteries are clean, so the idea of a heart attack confused the doctors.

Long story short, I will be discharged sometime tomorrow! Now I can get some sleep for the first time in days.(I haven't slept since I arrived.) I also want to eat some tasteful food and more of it. I only ate one meal a day.

Without going into detail, I know firsthand how scary this sort of experience can be. Sitting in a hospital bed, knowing something is wrong with you but waiting to find out what it is...

Anyway, glad you're good to go.

I've been there man. It's a terrifying experience and being young just makes it scarier, because you have no idea what it could be or what you can do about it.


Thank goodness you're alright, and that you're getting to go home. Hopefully it never happens again!
