Tension in Ueno: 24/7 Championship Match- Carmen Rodriguez (c) vs Akino Sanada

Akino wasn't attacking Carmen just yet. She wasn't putting her in any excruciating holds, she wasn't tying her up with some obscure submission move that you could barely pronounce. Carmen was on the floor, laid out, wide open, almost begging for it, and instead she got...nothing.

Not that she was complaining, really. It was a wee bit odd, though. Akino was just sitting there.

She wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Carmen slowly made her way up, shaking her head along the way and trying very hard to ignore the multiple ingredients making a stew in her undergarments. When she was high enough, she reached at Akino from behind and tried to wrap her up with a chinlock, wanting to lock her down and work from there.

Akino heard some things shifting around behind her as Carmen stirred and started to pick herself up. She knew the boxer was coming, now she just had to try to be patient. Moving too early would give her foe a chance to see the ambush coming, and moving too late...well, that was obvious.

But right when the maid felt those hands touch her, it was time to act. The maid immediately whipped around, and with a plateful of cheesecake sitting on her hand, attempted to forcefully deliver a smack right to the Puerto Rican’s face!

Carmen was a world renowned boxer. She’d fought against all manner of opponents, male and female. She was used to seeing just about every sort of strike and attack coming her way, and she knew how to deal with them all.

But for all that training, she didn’t anticipate Akino’s counterattack. She hadn’t been taught to deal with cheesecake.

”Guh!” Carmen was knocked flat on her back once more, stunned, and not just because of the strike itself. She was certainly cognizant of the look she had going on now, covered all in muck. Not a champion’s look.

Akino wasn’t a stranger to the hardcore style of wrestling matches. Chairs, kendo sticks, tables, even baseball bats. She’d used lots of different types of weapons before, but cheesecake? This was definitely a first for her too.

Regardless, it seemed to work. The strike landed, and Carmen went down. Part of her wanted to go for a pin, but she knew there was no way in hell a slice of cake to the face would be enough to put away a champion and olympic silver medalist. So a pin was out of the question. However, another change of scenery could do. Akino wasn’t so sure getting into a food fight here in the cafeteria would be an appropriate way to carry on their championship bout.

So she moved to stand by Carmen’s feet and turned to face away from her, then bent down and grabbed her by the ankles. Then, towing the champ behind her, the maid began to march toward the nearest exit, figuring they could use some fresh air. If she could make it to the door, Akino would kick it open and try to drag Carmen out of the building with her.

The worst part of getting slapped in the face with the cheesecake - aside from the indignity of it all - was the way Carmen’s eyes were now covered. She couldn’t seem much of anything, and since her hands were covered in gunk, too, any attempt she made to clear the mess just made it worse.

So she was relieved when Akino - she assumed it was Akino - decided to drag her away from the fallen smorgasbord. As relieved as one could be while a lover was dragging her around on the floor like a piece of meat.

Still barely able to see, there wasn’t much Carmen could but be lead around, again, hoping there’d be a chance to turn the tables once more when the time came. Maybe there would be more tables, wherever they were going. That had been fun.

The sun hadn’t completely set just yet in Ueno. But the town’s park, which was right next to the small arena, was lit beautifully by the night lights and the small amount of remaining sunlight. Small stands with food and souvenirs lined the sides of a broad road that stretched through the park, along with blooming sakura trees all over the place. If she weren’t in the middle of a heated championship match, Akino would’ve loved to stop and take in the scenery, maybe even enjoy a nice walk through the park.

But that would have to wait for another time. “Come on. Lets go for a little tour.” Akino said as she let go of Carmen’s legs, then turned and reached down to drag her up to her feet.

While Akino had been busy dragging Carmen along, the 24/7 Champion had been busy. She managed to find the one little piece of her clothing that wasn’t in buffet fodder, and used that to wipe her eyes clean, letting her take in that beautiful setting sun. It really was a nice, serene setting. So calm and placid, unlike anything she’d ever seen back in the concrete jungle of Bayomon.

It was almost a shame that she’d have to beat Akino all over it. Almost.

As Akino lifted her up, Carmen sprang back into action and bursted forth, tackling her lover in the stomach and trying to drive her into the nearest tree at ramming speed.

In hindsight, it probably would’ve been smart to try to further stun Carmen before pulling her back up. You’d think the maid might’ve learned that lesson after what had happened with the crate backstage earlier in the match. Whatever her reason for forgetting that moment, fatigue or otherwise, history was about to repeat itself.

Akino suddenly found herself being driven backward, before an explosive impact with a tree halted her progress. “GUAH!!!!” Akino screamed out, cringing in agony as intense pain rocked her back. She’d already been put through a table once, but this tree didn’t have any of the give that table had. If Carmen moved away, the maid would instantly drop to the ground and start writhing about in anguish.

Hitting a tree, as it turned out, wasn’t all that fun. Even if you did have a hot maid acting a body cushion.

Akino crashed into the tree with Carmen driving her, making enough impact to send cherry blossoms raining down on their heads. The 24/7 Champion barely noticed. She was far too focused on dealing out the damage and grunting at the pain running down her spine. She could handle it, so longas Akino endured worse. Her concentration wouldn’t falter. Now that the reigns were in her hands again, she intended on keeping that focus for the rest of her match.

Until that bell rang, Akino was just another opponent. Carmen had to hammer that point home.

When Akino’s body flopped the ground, Carmen didn’t leave her alone for long. She drove her knee into her lover’s back and leaned on it, but that wasn’t for any sort of submission move - not yet, at least. Right now, she had something more practical in mind.

Carmen grabbed Akino’s head from behind, gripped the hair tight, and drove her face - her soft, perfect, beautiful face - into the dirt. That would’ve been bad enough, but from there she rubbed it around, trying to get as much dirt into Akino’s good eye as possible. The less she saw, the easier this would be.

Akino was a little too busy writhing in agony to appreciate the beauty of the cherry blossom petals falling all around them. After being put through a table and slammed into a tree, the maid’s back was screaming in pain, though she wasn’t left to roll about on the ground for very long.

“Gah!” She cried out, cringing in pain and gritting her teeth to try to stop any further cries from escaping when Carmen planted a knee on her tormented back. She felt her hair being grabbed, and expected the Puerto Rican to pull her up, maybe wrap those hands around her chin for a modified camel clutch or something. Would’ve been smart too, considering the maid’s current condition. But no, Carmen elected to go a different route....

Akino’s face was driven down into the dirt, eliciting another grunt from her, before being smeared and ground into it. Dirt got in her mouth and nose. But more importantly, it was getting in her right eye, the one that could actually see. Was Carmen actually using the maid’s blindness as a weapon against her? Surely she couldn’t be. Not her. This had to just be meant to wear her down a bit while the boxer planned her next move, right? That didn’t stop Akino from constantly trying to spit dirt out of her mouth while one hand tried to fight Carmen off and the other tried to rub the dirt out of her eye, which was an annoying and miserable experience. But she just couldn’t bring herself to believe that this was Carmen’s strategy.
