HISTORIC BACKGROUND

May, an only child, is the daughter of a well off television producer. She was always a happy child, but she never knew her mother, who left her father shortly after her birth. As such, she only ever knew motherly affection from whatever nanny was taking care of her. Her father was often busy, and rarely had the time to spend any time with her. Though it's not as if he didn't try. His work often took him across state lines to attend meetings and the like. But, as wealthy as he was, he was able to put her up in good, private schools.

In her teen years, May was an exceptionally spunky girl, easily befriending most people and making few enemies. In high school, she got good grades, and partook in a multitude of extra curricular, almost all of which she used to maintain her figure, including cardio kick boxing, running, and occasionally yoga. But her favorite thing was Cheerleading, which was where she met her cousin, Lilly for the first time.

At first, Lilly was cold to her, like she was with everyone else. but she eventually grew accustomed to her, and even began to see her almost as a friend. The two made a great pairing, always working hard to make sure they were the best in their squad. The two of them grew incredibly close. At least, as close as Lilly would allow her to be.

Upon graduation though, Lilly left, heading to Japan without so much as a word. May never knew why, but she figured she had her reasons. It wasn't until she came across the AFW on TV that she saw her again, wrestling! Of all things! May should have known she'd do something crazy. And so, giving her father little warning, May took off to Japan as well, intent on seeing her cousin again, and maybe trying this wrestling thing out for herself.
