Silver Ace vs River Styx: Tables Match

Well that was to be expected really. Styx was built like a goddamn tank, it was going to take a lot to actually put the bitch down in a way that would make her STAY down.


Ace had only just started to push herself back up to all fours...when the table came right down, smashing upon her body, getting a cry out of her, as she fell back onto the floor, groaning as the table was left on top of her, covering up her slim, athletic frame.


"OWwww...."

Immediately after dropping the table down, Styx pulled it back up and unfurled one of the legs, fully intending to set it up and bring this match to a painful, abrupt close - but she didn’t. It was tempting to finish Ace off now, but that would be way, way too easy. This was a former champion she was dealing with, here. A big finish. Beating her wasn’t as important as beating her in a decisive fashion, proving that she was at the top of the food chain.

It could wait. This was essentially a hardcore match, so she had the advantage.

”Table match, huh?” Styx threw the table away and started to stalk around the fallen Ace, keeping her eyes close and alert. ”You do know I’m about twice your size, right? Gonna get my big ass through a table?”

Styx took a step back, then moved in and delivered a swift kick towards Ace’s side, aiming straight for the ribs with the tip of her boot. Hard toe. Guaranteed to hurt.

Okay, tables were officially added to Aces shitlist, cause that fucking HURT.

But it didn't hurt as much as what came next, Styx's heavy boot smashing into Ace's side, an exclamation of pain leaving Silver Ace's lips, the sheer force of the kick actually lifting Ace off of the ground and throwing the silver haired girl back, throwing her under the ring!

"GAH! D-DAMNIT! You bitch!"

Ace yelled from under the ring, technically safe from being put through a table, arms going around her sides on instinct, her side feeling like it was on fire!

Ha, Styx got a bit more distance with Ace in that kick than she'd been expecting. Put Ace all the way under the ring, which was, of course, not where she wanted her opponent to be. Easy fix, though.

Styx took a moment to flip the audience off - not because they'd really done anything to deserve it, but because she damn well felt like it - and moved in on her prey, as the referee cautiously looked down on them from above.

”Rise and shine, babe.” Styx snarled as she reached under the ring, grabbing Ace by her ankles and yanking her out. ”Time for your medicine.”

Oh man, her side felt like it was on fire. This bitch might have bruised her damn rib just in the first 10 minutes, just giving Silver Ace yet another reason to want to pound Styx's face in. WITH HER FISTS OF JUSTICE!

"Get off!"

Ace exclaimed, kicking out with her free leg, not so much aiming as just throwing her leg down as hard as she could, weather she hit the womans wrist or arm or face didn't matter, what was important was that she escaped the womans strong grip, needing to get back on her feet under her own terms, not the, no doubt highly painful, terms that Styx would have.

In all honesty, aside from the irritating way this match had started, Styx was glad Ace had called her out. Beating her in a straight match would get her a bit more credit than an ambush, and she could use the boost after the debacle with the tag match. Not to mention the overall catharsis of putting someone - anyone, really - through a table.

So she was eager when she pulled Ace out from under the apron. But few things douse eagerness quite like a kick in the face.

”Guh!” The bald brawler was smack straight on the chin by Ace’s leg, hitting with a force that gave her a painful reminder of a certain Latina world champion. It was enough to make Styx let go, and she wound up staggering away by a few steps, coming close to the barricades as she wobbled.

While Silver Ace had no intention of staying under the ring, she also had no intention of letting Styx pull her out and keep kicking at her. While Ace's own kicks were like fast striking lightning bolts, River Styx's booted kicks felt more like big sledgehammers smashing into her body.

Having kicked Styx away, Ace rolled to the side, coming out from under the ring on the right side of the ring, as opposed to the bottom side that Styx was on. Seeing Styx near the barricade, Ace rolled into the ring and grabbed the ropes, going for another high flying attempt, bouncing off the middle rope to get to the top, then springboarding off the top rope, coming down at River Styx with a high cross body off the top rope!

Okay, this was annoying. Styx could already tell it was going to be one of those matches, where her opponent played tag with her until she finally managed to put the kibosh on it. It was irritating, but that was the cost of being a human tank. Everyone liked to play little games with her, see how far they could get before she smashed them like bugs on the windshield.

Gallium had gotten some mileage out of it, but Styx still smashed her. Ace would be no different.

When she found her.

Styx turned around to find that Silver Ace had dashed off somewhere. She wasn’t in front of her, and her first thought was that she was hiding under the ring - an area Styx really didn’t want to go with her big ass.

She was contemplating her next move, when she heard the crowd roar, heralding the rising action. That prompted Styx to look up, and what did she see? A flying Ace. Heading straight towards her.

She managed to get her hands up in time, but that was about it, for all the good it did. Silver Ace still crashed into her like a runaway freight train, knocking her against the barricade with enough force to make it move a couple of inches. As the crowd cheered, Styx sank down and went all the way to her knees, reeling from the blow, shaking her head to clear it out.

So, yes, maybe Silver Ace would be a little different from Gallium.

Success! Ace, not a natural high flyer, had just attempted more high flying moves in one match than she had in her entire career, and so far, both of them had been successful! Valley Doll would be proud!

...Except maybe for the part where her cross body hit River Styx too high up on the chest, so that, when the woman fell back into the barricade, the sheer momentum caused her to continue, her body sliding over River Styx's head and taking a nice 5 foot drop, tumbling down over the other side of the barricade and landing on the hard concrete floor.

Rather than get up right away, Ace stayed on the floor for a couple minutes, the hard impact of her cross body, combined with the hard drop onto the concrete, was enough to knock the wind out of the Canadian beauty, laying on the floor near the very fans now cheering her for her risky move.

”Fucking flying shit…”

Again with the crazy-ass diving. Again. Styx didn’t exactly keep track of Ace’s matches, but even she knew this was an unusual strategy for the silver-haired woman. Maybe taking so many rules out of the equation was making her more daring, maybe she was just trying to mix it up to throw Styx off her game. Either way, as Styx grabbed the barricade and started to pull herself up, she couldn’t deny how well it had been working.

To a point, at least. Judging from the wipeout Ace took into the crowd, she was learning what that point was.

”Fuck out of the way!” Styx growled to the audience crowding around, making them back off as she reached over the barricade. She grabbed the smaller woman by the arm, lifted her up, and flung her over the barricade like a rag doll. As tempting as it was to do some crowd brawling, Styx wasn’t dumb. She wanted this fight to stay close to the tables.
