Chloe Ruiz Vs. Samiya Kusanagi

Samiya had Chloe trapped in a nasty finisher this early in the match, which only made the white haired Brazilian grit her teeth and shake her head, feeling her body being bent into an unnatural shape as Samiya leaned back more and more which only caused the red and black clad fighter to pound the mat with her right fist even harder.

The Assassin only made it more difficult for Chloe to fight her way out of the hold as she bent back even further and made Chloe's foot almost start to reach the back of her head. The Brazilian was a flexible one after all, but she wasn't going to let Samiya break her in this hold, or any hold!

The Brazilian would crawl and reach out her right arm towards the ropes, she had managed to get closer and closer through her struggles but now she had finally managed to get close enough to try and grab at the bottom rope with her right hand and try and hold on tight! Looking for that rope break.

No, Chloe was too flexible and too stubborn to tap this early, even to the infamous Sharpshooter – it was breaking out the big guns early but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. It had the crowd intrigued, it had Chloe on the back foot early and the damage she was doing would be useful later in the match.

The more Samiya worked that lower back, the more she could slow her agile opponent down and make it more about her own style of fighting.

Meantime, of course, she was aware that they were rapidly nearing the ropes

Well, Chloe was in the ropes as the ref soon informed Samiya, right before demanding that she break the hold.

Yeah, so what?

Samiya ignored the ref’s instructions, then she ignored the count, continuing to work the hold with all she was worth right up until the last possible second before the five count.

She had no intention of being disqualified but the five count was there to be used. Hell, she didn’t see Chloe having any qualms about using it in exactly the same way.

Right before the ref would have to call the match, the Schoolgirl Assassin finally broke the lock and let Chloe’s legs go.

Then she paused long enough to slam the heel of her boot into the small of her opponent’s back before stepping clear as the referee shoved in between them, Samiya’s arms spread wide in a gesture of faux-innocence.

Not a bad start.

”So much for the ‘top dog’,” She taunted with a smirk.

Chloe grit her teeth as she held onto the bottom ropes, shaking her head as she just waited for the bigger woman to release her or get disqualified. The School-girl Assassin was really pushing her luck though, as she kept the hold in until the very final second. Finally releasing the Brazilian and letting her legs drop down onto the mat, she would groan out loudly in pain and start to try and push herself up...

Only to be interrupted by a boot down onto her lower back, causing the tan-skinned girl to yelp out in pain. She would grit her teeth again and then slip out underneath the ropes, getting onto her feet on the outside of the ring by the ring apron and holding onto her back, shaking her head a bit more. 

"F-fucking...lardass...." Chloe winced out in pain as she was taking a bit of a breather now while she could.

Chloe, to give her credit, did try to get up immediately. But that didn’t last when Samiya stomped her down. That got the submission specialist a groan of pain that she couldn’t help but relish, right before her opponent fled the ring to the relative safety of the floor.

It was a smart decision, but she bet it had to rankle given how the Eradicator had been running her mouth at the start of the match. So maybe she could rub it in just a little more, get some mileage out of this.

Samiya just let her grin widen, sauntering a bit closer to the ropes while making sure she stayed outside of arms’ reach.

No reason to give Chloe an opportunity after all.

”Really? Taking a break already? Akino put up more of a fight than this.”

The Schoolgirl Assassin cocked her head curiously to one side, eyes fixed on Chloe.

”So, are you that weak or just a coward?”

Either way, the referee stepped up to the ropes and started to count Chloe out.

”One!”

Samiya just lowered herself into a crouch and smiled, beckoning Chloe back in. Of course, the other wrestler had plenty of time before she was actually counted out but the clock was now ticking.

Chloe would click her tongue as Samiya started to rag on her even more, she would grit her teeth and glare up at the woman as she would then shake her head.

The words of the purple haired woman only making the Brazilian want to tear her to pieces even more. Though....she was starting to figure out what Samiya's game was. It wasn't too different from what Chloe did from time to time. The white haired woman would shrug her shoulders and then back up towards the barricade as she'd stretch her arms out over the railing.

" Maybe if she'd used my strategy she'd have kicked your ass too." Chloe said with a cocky smirk on her face. " Nah vadiazinha....just smart." Chloe said as the Referee then called for the second count. " Two!!" She shouted out.

Chloe would move her hand up to her mouth and do a mocking yawning action. " Why are you hiding in the ring? Come out here and fight instead!" Chloe let out to Samiya's beckoning actions, with a wide toothy grin on her face.

Standoff time.

Samiya just out of arms-reach of the ropes, crouched over with hands resting on her thighs.

Chloe stood at the barricade, leaning against it without an apparent care in the world.

The audience not sure whether to cheer or boo.

And an official desperately hoping someone would disrupt the count – management hated matches ending via count out. And she could already see the reprimand…

In the meantime, the two wrestlers were trashtalking with the ease of two people who did it for fun and a living.

Samiya, on an abstract level, could even admire Chloe’s poise. Didn’t mean she was going to fall for her own trick any more than Chloe was, of course.

”Or you could come in here and fight?” The Schoolgirl Assassin shot back, ”Unless you’re too scared you’ll have to tap.”

Well, that was the obvious reason to go outside – take the fight away from the sanctuary of the ropes but also away from the only place that either pins or submissions counted.

More importantly, if that was what Chloe wanted, Samiya wanted the opposite. On principle, basically. Never give the enemy what she wanted. Hey, if Chloe wanted to get counted out, Samiya would take the win.

It wouldn’t be pretty but that was on Chloe, not her.

"Three!"

The referee called out as Chloe remained outside of the ring, rolling her shoulders a bit as she listened on at Samiya, hearing the woman speak in her cocky tone, as the Schoolgirl Assassin didn't seem to want to come out and play.

The Brazilian would have to come into the ring eventually unless she wanted to lose to this Japanese girl. For that reason, Chloe would start to walk away from the barricade, stretching her arms out a little and waving them back and forth to limber herself up.

" Four!"

" Scared huh? I think you're the one who's scared of a real fight, but whatever." Chloe spoke out as she would move up to the ring and slide into the ring. Stepping up towards Samiya as if she didn't have a care in the world, but she was more than ready for what she expected to be an attack from Samiya Kusanagi.

”Five!”

”Nothing to be scared of,” Came the inevitable response, ”At least, I’m not getting a real fight from you.”

But, by that point, it was clear that Chloe had had enough of the waiting game. Possibly because she was somewhat closer to the fans, who were very clearly less than keen on how this was going, whereas the half-Cuban had the advantage of being in the ring.

Either way, here she came. Time to get ready again.

Well, Samiya honestly wasn’t sure if she’d have preferred to get this win by count out or not. But, regardless – so much for that plan. She hadn’t really expected it to go any other way. The referee, judging by her soft sigh of relief, hadn’t been quite so certain.

But Samiya? No. She just couldn’t see Chloe letting that happen.

Staying in her crouch, she watched the Brazilian Eradicator casually pull away from the edge of the ringside area. Make her way over to the ring. Slide in. Stand up…

At which point, Samiya went from standing to moving, lunging forward as she went for a straight takedown on the taller woman. Chloe was most likely expecting something but that was still her vulnerable point, that moment as she got into the ring and before she got herself settled.

Risky, yes. Worth it, also yes.

Chloe couldn't help but let out a few 'tsk' sounds as she made her way casually to the ring. The referee was able to get to a six count before she had made her way to the ring-side and started to slide in, tsking all the way because of Samiya's words.

Of course the Eradicator had a reason, it seemed as if the School-girl Assassin wasn't taking her too seriously? Was it because she had been defeated by Akino way back when she made her debut? Perhaps. Though that was a long time ago, and Chloe knew better against the type of opponent that Samiya was.

The Second she got up into a stand, Samiya rushed towards her and...the lighting fast Brazilian used her cat-like reflexes to side step and grab at Samiya. Using Samiya's own momentum against her to as she would attempt to aid that momentum and launch Samiya right between the ropes and out of the ring! Letting her fall from the perilous height out from between the middle and top ropes down onto the barley padded floor outside of the ring!

With the count heading all the way up to ‘six’ before the Eradicator made her way back inside the squared circle, there was a fairly obvious current of discontent among the fans watching. Most of them were fairly secure in their belief that neither Chloe nor Samiya would want to see this end on a count out.

But still! They were there to watch wrestling, not circling! Not even with trash-talking, not when the bulk of them couldn’t hear it.

For Samiya’s part, she’d just been waiting. Timing it to perfection as Chloe got up, she then rushed her opponent, gloating as she did so.

Only for Chloe to have predicted just that and for her slippery opponent to slide out of the way at the very last moment.

Ah.

Left to her own devices, it was anyone’s guess whether Samiya would have been able to stop herself. She wouldn’t have had much room for error and she had picked up a pretty impressive turn of speed so… Probably not on balance.

Given that she was aided on her way by Chloe, that ‘probably’ could safely be taken out of the equation. Samiya had no way of stopping her onward rush, and with the ropes coming up quickly, she was left to throw up her hands and do her best to shield her head.

Then she was through the ropes and was feeling that nasty sinking sensation for the brief moment before she collided with the padded floor.

There was a crash. A groan. And a not-terribly-mobile Schoolgirl Assassin lying in a heap on the floor, clutching at what were certain to be bruises the next morning.
