The Weekend Before...

When Caroline's suplex put Alaina down on the canvas, she sped toward her to capitalize on the opportunity. Seeing the Amazon lying on her side, Caroline picked up speed and ran toward her to deliver a sharp kick straight to her exposed back.

Aiming to soften Alaina up for a back submission of some sort, Caroline hoped that the kick would not only hurt, but also knock the Amazon onto her stomach. As soon as she was lying face-down, the rookie would go to stand over her, preparing to work her over even more!

Alaina felt the impact of a sharp, painful kick crashing into her back! She cried out through grit teeth as she rolled to her side, her back arching at a seemingly impossible angle for her.

Alaina gasped and let out breath as she slumped down on her stomach, her hand rubbing her back as her foot tapped the mat rapidly! She was quickly getting it handed to her by the rookie!

The realization that she was managing to keep Alaina under control was almost surreal to Caroline. She didn't let it go to her head, though, and she didn't stop either. The Amazon's career had demonstrated her own talent for keeping opponents down once she managed to get the upper hand, so her opponent would have to keep up the pressure!

Standing over Alaina, Caroline hopped into the air and fell down with her legs bent, aiming her knees right at the prone Amazon. If Alaina didn't manage an escape, Caroline would keep one of her knees planted on her back and lace her fingers underneath her opponent's chin before pulling up. A simple chinlock, unfit to gain a submission, but just right for softening up the defender's sore spine.

Alaina was laying on the mat as the knees dropped down onto her spine! She moaned in pain as Caroline tried to wrap her hands around Alaina's chin. Alaina was thoroughly humbled at this point, with Caroline in control.

Alaina groaned and brought her hands up to grab each of Carolina's wrists and began to use her strength to try to pull them apart! "Ngh....not today!" Alaina said as she tried to use her power to get out of a bad situation!

Getting a hold on Alaina proved to be much easier than keeping the hold. Caroline's chinlock didn't stay cinched in for long as Alaina seized her hands and began to pry them apart. She still had control, but not for long, not as the Amazon started to once again overpower her.

Deciding to quit while she was ahead, Caroline tried to slam Alaina's face into the mat before releasing her grip and pulling away. With the rookie's weight off of her, Alaina was free to rise, but Caroline wasn't planning to give her much of a break. As soon as her opponent was back on two feet, she would charge right back into the fray, kicking a leg up to plow her knee into the Amazon's stomach.

Alaina's face bounced off the mat and she groaned, getting up and looking frustrated! Her frustration would continue as Caroline forced the amazon to double over with a hard knee strike! Alaina was being humbled something fierce in this ring, and she had to try to stop Caroline.

Stumbling back, Alaina nearly slumped to a knee but managed to stay up. Gritting her teeth she lunged forward and swung a big forearm strike right at Carolina's cheat in an attempt to halt the rookie and her momentum!

Caroline felt a shock ripple through her leg as her knee crashed into Alaina's stomach with all her momentum behind it. It didn't surprise her that the Amazon managed to stay upright, but as Carol crossed the distance that Alaina had backpedaled, she wasn't prepared for her opponent to counterattack so quickly.

“Ough!” Caroline spluttered when a stout forearm nailed her square in the chest. Caught off guard, Caroline nearly got knocked off of her feet, and she reeled backwards while struggling to regain her composure. There was no time to regain the initiative; with Alaina likely to press her newfound advantage, the rookie was finally on the defensive.

Alaina saw Caroline stumble back, giving chase immediately. The bigger amazon rushed right at her opponent and extended her arm trying to crash right into Caroline with a running lariat! If this hit, Alaina knew it would have to take Caroline down to the mat.

If Caroline dodged, then that was a different story. Right now Alaina was focused on trying to gain any momentum she could. Caroline had to be shown that it wasn't so easy to have her way with Alaina inside the ropes.

Caroline hadn't even gotten her arms back up before Alaina caught up with her, hurling a ripped forearm at her stunned opponent. Her bicep made hard contact with the rookie's face, sending her hurtling backwards. Hitting the canvas with a bang, Caroline winced as the impact rattled her skull.

“Rggh!” Carol groaned, rolling on the mat in pain as she cradled the back of her head for a moment. In a flash, the upstart's momentum was gone, left at Alaina's mercy as she struggled to get her bearings again.

Alaina saw Caroline go down and knew she had managed to stop the young ball of energy. She grunted as she pulled Carline up to her feet once more. The amazon bent down to grab Caroline between the legs and around her shoulder. Alaina tried to lift Caroline high and hold her up like a trophy for a brief moment. She spun the young woman back towards the center of the ring before slamming her down on her back as hard as Alaina could!
