Here they were. They'd come a long way since they formed their tag team, Blazing Blizzard were now going to fight for the tag team titles here on the center stage, Summer Splash. Not only that but they were going to fight Akiha Kosha and Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt, the dreader Imperial Order which had reigned as Tag Team champions for quite a while now.

After their meeting with them at their tea ceremony ~Crème De La Crème~, where Chelsea and Belinda had been left down on their backs, with a table pinning them down and covered in beverages and pastries.  The Swede felt pretty sour about this, even more sour at the fact that she had stopped Chelsea from ripping Gwendolyn's head off and lead to them to being downed under that table.

She let out a sigh as she laced up her boots and finished tightening her gloves around her hands. Turning over towards Chelsea she'd nod her head. " You ready for this?" Belinda asked as she'd then turn towards the locker room door. Belinda felt pretty ready herself, prepared to take on the fearsome duo and hopefully walk out of the ring as the tag team champions along with her closest friend.

Chelsea could count on one hand how many times she had been this pumped to fight. And honestly it wasnt even about the fact that it was for the tag titles..Or her first PPV match for that matter, both big deals for her. No it was because she really wanted to just rip the heads off there opponents. Gwen had pissed her off treating her like she was the 4th wheel in this scenario riding off peoples coattails. An accusation that had followed her pretty much all her life, first with Amy which only made things worse when Amy ended up spending more time with Kyoko cause of there tag team and treated like a big deal or a force to be reckoned with cause she's also very respected a world title contender with even Belinda talking about how good she is, well had Chelsea been there the day they faced off with the Imperial order she would have been more careful and watched Amy's back and ensured they did win, and regardless of how good she is she also failed to win the World title. Well jokes on both of them, neither are in a match this SS while Chelsea is here, though now she's riding Belinda's coattails according to Gwen, no matter how much she improves its like she cant catch a fucking break everything she ever does seems tied to someone else. But Gwen can say that all she wanted Chelsea had a chance to prove her wrong and be damned to anything else nothing better would stick it to the rich bitch then holding her tag belt over her head and calling it her own. Plus she owed Akiha a bit longer, she had constantly tried to hold that continuous pin match loss over her head so much and the fact that it was there only match to date meant Chelsea needed some good old fashioned revenge, good a time as any to do so on one of the biggest stages AFW had. Also she was just as responsible for the table spilling on her head as Gwen was and the redhead never forgets a slight. No one would be saying she hadn't earned this success when she made Gwendoyln or Akiha tap..Hell maybe she could submit both.

"Been ready, no tables of cakes to stop me this time." Chelsea said moving out on que, entering the ring to an applause as Chelsea danced on the ramp while Belinda came out to even more cheers as Blazing Blizzard looked to be the ones that ended the tag team reign of the two champs. Chelsea moved down the ring with a purpose looking as serious as ever while still high fiving fans n her side of the walkway before she rolled into the ring. Waving at a few more fans Chelsea spun and looked at the entrance ramp as determined as ever to finally put an end to these Imperial punks looking t pat Belinda on the back she whispered. "Sorry about this but I might yank some of your fiancé's hair clean off today. And Gwen's buns but I doubt you care too much about those."

The shimmering sunlight greatly complimented the outdoor and rustic amenities of the Roman coliseum inspired arena, a somewhat chilled breeze in the air helping to alleviate the oppressive heat bearing down on the audience. For Gwendolyn, the elaborate gladiatorial-inspired venue was the only aspect of this year's summery event that remotely interested her. The illustrious and fancifully adorned road that her tag-team title reign had paved the way for having  been littered with the crushed dreams and aspirations of farrrrr more competent adversaries than the slipshod pairing thrown at them today. Gwendolyn merely interpreted all of this as the bottom of the barrel being sufficiently scraped up in order to cobble a team together that could potentially offer them a minute challenge...well, at the very least, Imperial Order was able use this ho-hum opportunity to cleanse themselves of the ~Crème De La Crème~ curse, and finally leave their interview segment without being cake shoved in their faces or squid perched on their heads. In Gwen's mind, that was a victory almost as satisfying as defending their tag titles would be~...

The stirring boos and virulent disdain already started filling the expansive halls of the Roman stadium once the appointed fan favorites theme music had faded away. Several seconds of deadened stillness transpiring before the grandiloquent theme of the reviled bluebloods irritated the ears of all in attendance, red and gold confetti raining down from above after being blown into the sky from machines all around the arena. But rather than a red carpet being rolled out for the haughty noblewomen...eight strapping men dressed in Roman garbs and sandals would come marching out, carrying upon their shoulders the wooden beams of a frilly and ornate palanquin.

Silken curtains shielding those inside from being seen by the clamoring rabble, only their vaguely distinguished silhouettes being visible as the lowly strongmen traipsed down the ramp while carrying their high-born passengers. The wooden carrier once used in ancient times to separate the lowly peasantry from gazing upon the royalty inside now being used for a similar purpose, the pretentious spectacle continuing onward until the palanquin was brought to the edge of the ring. When the pompous aristocrat herself would part the curtains and elegantly arise from inside the carrier adorned in her form fitting wrestling attire and tag-team belt slung over her shoulder, entering the ring through the ropes with a coy smirk and fanciful wave to her "adoring" public beside Akiha.

"...oh come now. You have to admit I do have a particular flair for making an entrance~..." Gwendolyn uttered to her tag-team partner, though she internally admits that her Halloween PPV entrance ranks just a smidgen above this one. "Now, I do believe it is your turn to sully your hands at the onset this time, Madam Kosha~..."

This was Akiha first time in Italy, she had actually arrived a week before the entire PPV was supposed to take place.  She had spent a good amount of time taking a look at the sights and learning a bit about the culture.  The crimson hair wrestler had actually also found out a bit about gladiatorial combat.  In truth, everything they were doing was more of Hollywood version of Gladiators and not historically accurate.

Though now she needed to push that all aside, it was time for Imperial Order to defend their tag belts.  When it came to making entrances, no one could defeat Gwendolyn, which is why Akiha had always allowed her to make the entrances.  She just had to make sure to be included, as she remembered a past experience where they entered separately and Gwendolyn managed to steal the entire show with her entrance.  

Being brought in by having eight strongmen in such a fashion was a truly unique experience.  The two would then set out and enter the ring.  She then heard her tag partner comment about how she had a flair for making an entrance. “No, I don’t because that doesn’t do you justice.  Honestly, if there was a belt for making the best entrances, you would remain undefeated until you retired.” stated Akiha in a professional tone though she was speaking truthfully.  She was then told that she would be starting this match.  “Very well, I will set them up so you can knock them down.” said Akiha in a confident tone as she then made her way to the center of the ring.

Belinda would stretch herself out a little, lacing her fingers together as she would crack her fingers, knucles and arms. Making sure she was all nice and limber and that there would be no complications. At the sign of their opponents though, there was a noticable change in the crowd. From the great cheers which they had thrown the way of the Blazing Blizzard, Imperial Order on the other hand was met with nothing but jeers and boos. It was quite a stark change in tone.

Though Belinda would look over at Chelsea, placing her hand on her tag partners shoulder as she watched the team of Gwendolyn and Akiha make their way towards the ring in a palanquin of all things. It was a rather fancy entrance, but Belinda felt it a bit too posh and arrogant for her taste.

Still, she would nod her head and as the two opponent, a rather opposing team of a buxom blond and a cute redhead. The two teams stood almost like mirror images of each other. When Belinda saw Akiha step forward and be the one chosen to take the first spot in this match, Belinda would turn to Chelsea, give her friend a smile and then pat that shoulder. " I'll take the first swing at this." Belinda said as she flashed a friendly grin to her friend.

Belinda would then walk up towards the center of the ring and place herself opposed to Akiha. Listening to the referee step in beside the two and start explaining the rules. Belinda's focus was on her rival though. " Hope you enjoyed being champion, cause today is your last day." Belinda said as she would puff out her chest a little.

Well, it was time for Akiha to face her arch-rival, Belinda Northman. The two had fought time and time again, both getting wins over each other. Now things were different, as each of them had a tag team partner. She would then make her way towards the center of the ring, getting ready for the match to start. The crimson hair crusader would then watch as Belinda did the same and made a confident statement. “You are wrong about that. My time as Champion is just starting, I will carve out a legacy unlike any other.” stated Akiha in a confident tone as she brushed her hair aside.

The bell would then ring and Akiha would then take two steps back towards her turnbuckle where Gwendolyn was waiting. The Japanese crusader would then extend her hand out to be tagged by her partner while having a confident smirk on her face. The duo had come up with a plan, one to throw their opponents off their game.

The odd parallels between both teams became significantly more noticeable now that the diametrically opposing pairs were occupying the same ring. Each pair consisting of a supremely confident blonde and a fiery redhead, but most similarities ending right there given the polar opposite reception they received upon entering the arena. A swirling buzz of anticipation emanating from the audience as the clanging of the bell formally confirmed that the match was underway...until the crimson-haired aristocrat abruptly changed gears and tagged herself out. Stupefying the crowd as the Gwendolyn merrily accepted the tag and made her way through the ropes towards Belinda in the center of the ring.

"Ah, my sincerest apologies, Madam Northman. But it appears as if a seasoned competitor of your proficient caliber has given my esteemed colleague quite the jitters. Please, allow me to serve as your opponent for now~..." Gwen elegantly enunciated with a humble and ladylike curtsy, her own pompous smirk mimicking Akiha's as than began to circle the ring along with Belinda doing the same on the opposing side. Her nonchalant waltz not having the slightest hint of urgency as stretched her arms from side to side across her chest.

A prolonged amount of time passing before Gwendolyn was apparently finally ready to initiate a lock-up, her outreaching arms and twiddling fingers indicating as much as she inched closer and closer to Belinda...only to abruptly change gears and backpedal several steps for a tag out. The audience's bewildered confusion now turning into booing frustration at the lack of action...

Belinda raised her right eyebrow as Akiha suddenly backed up after the bell had rung and walked towards her tag partner, watching Akiha tag in Gwendolyn, with it she watched at the beautiful buxom blond came into the ring and started to nonchalantly waltz her way closer towards Belinda who remained in the center, a bit confused. 

Hearing Gwendolyn's words only confused her a bit, she never figured Gwendolyn was one for throwing compliments her way, yet she figured it would rile up Akiha as well if she played along. " It would seem so, I don't blame Akiha though. After all, she must still be feeling our last match. It was a rather crushing defeat for her, don't you agree, Gwendolyn?" Belinda spoke out as she would stick her tongue out in a teasing manner to Gwendoly and then glance over at Akiha. 

She would watch as the fellow blond settled into her wrestling stance and Belinda would do the same, ready to lock up with Gwendolyn and finally pay her back from last time they faced off, at Summer Splash no less. 

Arms ready, fingers twiddling as they got closer and closer, inches away from locking up and then suddenly Gwendolyn backed up. Belinda would huff out as she watched Gwendolyn tag in Akiha again. " What, are you scared now too?" Belinda let out as she would stretch her arms out, pretty annoyed at this game of chicken that was going on here.

Catched the scene with as much confusion as anyone. She had just wanted to get things started but of course she knew Belinda got first crack at her fiancée. That didnt last long as she tagged Gwen in, someone Chelsea wanted first crack at and almost offered her hand out to Belinda to begin to tell her to tag her in instead...and then Gwen tagged right back out. At this point Chelsea just facepalmed, completely wildered by the supposed tactics of this. And looking at Belinda as she wondered what she thought of it.

"Loo I know you two lean on each other for confidence to do mundane things such as fight but this is a Wrestling PPV not a Harlem Globe Trotters game." Chelsea said looking at both members of Imperial order and wondering if they were going to actually be serious this time.
