Simone had started to move in, looking to polish Betty off, but there wasn’t any point in raising her fists in defense. The bell rang, the round was done, and Betty stood there with her arms out and his grin wide. Smirking. Defiant. Right up until the bell rang.

When Simone rushed up to meet her, she stepped in and accepted the challenge, pressing back hard. ”Just wait one minute, dumbass! You’re about to see all I’ve got!” She gave Simone a hard push in the chest, shoving her back, right before the referee moved in between them and made a wall, keeping them apart.
