Tasha Jackson vs Peggy McIntyre - Twisting A Shamrock?

For once, Tasha Jackson was prepared. For once, she wasn't just stepping fearlessly into the unknown, convincing herself to be ready to face whatever opponent she might be facing in the ring tonight. For once, she had actually printed out a sheet of information about her opponent tonight - her key stats, and a brief summary of overall record. More than enough info to prepare for the match, right?

"Peggy McIntyre, Irish. Age 22. 5'6, 146lbs. Record 13-11-1."

And the translation of all that to Tasha? "Ha! I'm bigger than 'er... And ooh, she's younger too...so maybe also dumber! And that record... Nah, not very impressive. I can do better. I'll eeeasily overpower this Irish gal, and tear her apart if she's getting nasty!"

But were those thoughts actually mean? Not really. Deep inside Tasha was a good girl, but obviously raising one's own confidence never hurt. Besides, she did actually think that the stats were on her side...

Tasha Jackson - The Southern Twister:

Ida Corr's "Ride My Tempo" was still one of Tasha's favorite songs, and as usual, it was making her smile widely as she marched down the ramp towards the ring. Greeting the crowds in the process, the Alabaman went once more through tonight's setup in her head. It was a standard match, standard ring, no tricks, no stipulations, nothing suspicious. Just pure good ole wrestling, right?

Jumping up by the nearest turnbuckle as she reached the ring, Tasha took a sip out of her signature sweet tea bottle, before jumping into the ring, and getting up on the ropes by each corner to greet the audience with a big smile. Finally settling down in her corner, the Southern Twister kept sipping her sweet tea, while waiting for her Irish vict-...err, opponent to make her appearance.

Peggy was pacing in the back, clad in her free one piece attire along with her gold pads with her green and gold boots. She had trained with Alaina who was a big, lean wrestler much like this Tasha Jackson woman appeared to be. Peggy knew trying to overpower her would be useless. Be fast, strike hard, and throw in some nice suplexes when she least expects it. Peggy was going over her gameplan in her head, ready to face off against whatever Tasha threw her way. Hopefully.

Peggy's music began to play and the Irish woman came out, waving to the crowd as she bound down the ramp towards the ring. She climbed up onto the apron and through the ropes before looking over at Tasha. "You are a big one for sure, but I'll be thrown' that big butt o' yours all over the ring before ya know what hit ya." Peggy said with a grin, sounding confident despite the fact that she may have been a bit of an underdog in the matchup. She stood with her hands on her hips, waiting for the bell to ring, her eyes never leaving Tasha.

Tasha watched intently as Peggy made her way towards the ring. And frankly, it was rather curious for her to see what she saw! The Alabaman didn't really know what to make of this woman. On the other hand, her appearance with the knee and elbow pads and boots was definitely suitable for a real wrestler. But on the other hand, her curvy form, and the green one-piece swimsuit, while definitely suitable for an Irish gal, still reminded her more of a swimsuit model! If anything, that only served to reaffirm her previous perception of her opponent...

Once Peggy got talking, Tasha could sense that she had an attitude. The Alabaman hadn't even said anything yet, but Peggy already got going with her remarks! And they didn't sound all that nice... Yeah, Tasha was taller, and she had some muscle, but big sounded to her ears like Peggy was just trying to taunt her!

Now whether or not Tasha's assessment was accurate, she couldn't tell. But it still served the purpose of boosting her determination to teach this Irish gal a lesson tonight! "Oh yeah, ya think so? Well don't worry, I'll show ya what's big tonight!" A little bit of smack talk didn't appear to hurt in this case... And as the bell rang, Tasha was in no way in a mood to shake hands with Peggy. Instead, she decided to find out whether she could surprise the redhead with a quick Spear right off the bat!

Peggy was caught off guard as Tasha ran in, crashing hard into her! The big woman hit like a truck and Peggy let out a loud groan as she was planted against the mat! "Uggghhhhhh!" peggy groaned as she felt pain surging through her torso, and to make matters worse she had Tasha right on top of her! Peggy tried to squirm around and free herself up a bit, doing all she could to free up one of her arms.

Peggy knew this was a bad spot but she wanted to at least try to fight her way out as she attempted to swing her fist up at Tasha as hard as she could in a bid to free herself!

Tasha had already found out that Peggy could have a loud mouth, and the next thing she wanted to find out about was whether the Irish woman had anything to back that up. The Spear was her method of doing it, and the Alabaman considered the odds for its success being about 50-50. She figured that if Peggy was actually a capable wrestler, she'd be able to dodge her attack, but it was just as likely that the green-clad redhead would be indeed more suitable to be employed as a swimsuit model than an actual wrestler...

Needless to say, the success of the Spear shifted Tasha's perceptions heavily towards the latter side. The redhead began squirming beneath her, and that was just fine. Tasha had no plans of staying on top for now... Instead, she wanted to get back up, and pull Peggy up too! But as she had begun getting up, Peggy's fist slammed to her midsection! It halted the Alabaman's progress for a moment, but one punch would not be stopping her this early on in the match! "Didn't like that, huh? How about the throwing around part then?" Instead, Tasha wanted to keep up with progress, and pull Peggy all the way up in front of her, only to then try lifting her up, and slamming her back to the mat with a drop suplex!

Peggy fancied herself as a good striker but a look of shock appeared as her strikes that landed didn't really phase Tasha! Instead she was pulled up while she was still surprised and lift into the air only to come crashing down hard to the mat! Peggy let out a scream as she landed, squirming about and kicking the mat as she was laid out in agony on her back! Peggy wanted to get up and pound Tasha or kick her down to size.... but right now she was in too much pain to get up to her feet!

Peggy's scream was music to Tasha's ears. Apparently the redhead had not been prepared for such a swift start for the match at all! And probably she had underestimated the Alabaman as well... But that was fine, Tasha was intent on showing the Irish woman exactly just what she was capable of, and not only her, but also to everyone part of the AFW viewership tonight!

While Peggy was obviously not yet ready to get back up again, Tasha was not about to let go of an opportunity to shine. If anything, she wanted to establish her dominance even further, right from the start! So, the Southern Twister began pulling the redhead up, but not in just any manner, but trying to lift her up to her shoulders to a Fireman's carry position in the process! Provided that her plan worked as expected, Tasha would then attempt to slam Peggy back down again with the fireman's carry slam!

Peggy groaned as she was lift up across Tasha's shoulders, kicking her legs and trying to free herself but she was just a little too slow to pull off an escape. Instead Peggy found herself being hammered down against the mat with ring shaking force! She let out another scream of pain again, kicking her legs and clearly hurting after Tasha's big fireman carry slam!

Peggy gasped for breath as she laid on her back, again at a loss after being on the wrong end of Tasha's offense. She tried to roll away before getting up, trying anything she could think of to put some distance between herself and Tasha.

Tasha had only performed two moves, and Peggy was already rolling away from her like a desperate prey. Needless to say, it was quite an efficient boost of confidence for the Alabaman. Not that she really needed one, but hey, confidence was rarely bad thing in a wrestling ring, right?

"Ya still think ya gon' be throwin' me around girl, huh?" Trying to break down the opponent's confidence was rarely a bad thing either, right? That was exactly what Tasha wanted to do, as she trailed behind Peggy towards the other side of the ring. She didn't want to give her a chance to escape, wanting to be right in front of the redhead as she would eventually be getting up. Then she could have a chance to find out, how the pretty little swimsuit model would react to getting put into a bear hug hold...

Peggy stumbled her way up to her feet only to be helped up at the last second, her torso crushed in a nasty bear hug! The scream that escaped Peggy's lips was loud and ear splitting as she was again on the wrong end of Tasha's offense! Peggy had enough and knew she had to try to fight back! Her arms were wrapped up by taste's arms, leaving Peggy with limited options in her attempt to escape this incredibly agonizing hold!

With a loud war cry Peggy reared her head back, trying to head butt Tasha over and over until she was free of her grasp!
