Strategy: Jinx is a highly acrobatics speedster who relies heavily on her ability to avoid taking damage while delivering a high volume of quick strikes or opportunistic throws that make use of her opponent's momentum against them. She likes to show off by mixing in feats of agility and flexibility into her moveset so she can be frequently found limboing bridging under strikes, cartwheeling out of the way of charging opponents, or somersaulting into big body splashes into other wrestlers.

Her bread and butter is barraging her foes with an overwhelming number of quick strikes, which while not noteworthy for their strength, make up for it with the sheer number she throws. Her strongest assets are her submission moves which primarily make use of her legs. While her most devastating holds take place on the mat, she is flexible and creative in her applications allowing her to scissor hold standing opponents while handstanding or mounting towering opponents from behind to wrap them up in full-body stretch holds to attempt to drag them down.

She has incredibly poor staying power as she takes hits, making her more of a glass cannon in the ring than anything else. Getting caught by too many strong moves will leave her sluggish and vulnerable to the point she can never really recover her speed in longer matches.

Personality: Jinx is incredibly gifted when it comes to her acrobatics style, and she knows it. Possibly a bit too well. She is overconfident to a fault, thinking of herself as being among one of the greatest wrestlers currently in the profession. While capable of becoming great one day, as of right now she is far from as good as she claims.

She will very rarely admit to her shortcomings, childishly blaming her own faults on exterior causes such as arena lights blinding her if she gets hit with a move she should have been able to dodge, loose ropes, or slippery canvas if she botches one of her acrobatics moves, or cheating in the case of an opponent really laying into her. She embarrasses and flusters easily when confronted about these things and can on occasion have a bit of a tantrum about it.

When she is winning a match in her eyes, she will slow it down to showboat for the crowd. Performing unnecessarily complex offensive moves that throw in flips and cartwheels, or making use of a variety of rest holds to grind down her foe while gloating. She enjoys playing with her opponents if she gets them in a weakened state, not unlike the cat-themed gimmick she has.

Past/History:
Competitiveness was something drilled into her head at a young age. A talented young with gymnastic gifts, she was trained to be ready for what was going to be a long and fruitful career. A praised junior gymnast with accolades piling up and a possible shot at the Olympics on the horizon it all fell to pieces suddenly… thanks to puberty. Her gifts it seemed were multifaceted. When her body grew out of ideal form to complete, she was forced to bow out of the career path that was ordained for her.

She set her focus on other fields where she could still make use of her acrobatics gifts. Dance became a primary focus as well as free running. While competitions proved to be enjoyable, they lacked a certain something. High stakes and a large stage. She needed something where her talents could shine in front of a massive audience to earn the acclaim she felt entitled to.

A field turned her own to wrestling, specifically within the Lucha style. Slick moves, hard hits, and cool costumes. She was sold. She set to work creating a personal that spoke to her. Feline grace, bad news for her opponents… Black Cat was a bit too cliche, and taken, so she opted for a few other ones. She debuted after rigorous training as “Sexy Hexy” but the gimmick didn't really take. They expected her to be more of a witch or voodoo priestess. She simplified it to something shorter, more to the point, playful. Jinx!

With a few years in training and scattered indie appearances, she was scooped up by AFW talent agents. Impressed by the vast amount of talent, she signed partial contracts to both Tension and Friction to test the waters. She had her eyes on a few choice wrestlers in each brand. It was time to scratch some names off her list.

Fun Facts:

Just Kitten!: If the tables turn on her, she is not above claiming she was just playing around or in desperate situations pleading for mercy. This is almost always her playing possum though, looking for an opportunity to clamp on a submission move and take back control of a match. She has no real issue with lying so long as it is a “little white lie” in her mind.

Cuddle Constrictor: Opponents who are unable or unwilling to break free from her holds will find she enjoys the contact. She will give most of her victims affectionate treatment to ease them into submission, enjoying nuzzling, kissing, or licking her prey while she squeezes them.

Nine Lives: While not especially tough when it comes to taking hits, she is hard to put away. She stubbornly kicks out of pins or can crawl her way to rope breaks out of submissions even if she is too weak to put up an actual comeback.

Mousy Sneezes: Jinx has incredibly “tiny” sneezes, one of the few things she is openly embarrassed with herself about.

Hair Care: Jinx is a competent hair stylist, mostly out of necessity. A general inability to find capable hands to style her hair for matches has led to her doing it herself. She has an unspoken love for braiding long hair as well.
