Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Valley had a healthy appreciation of legs, possessing a healthy pair of her own, so she could say with confidence that the ones crushing her head at the moment were top notch. Good size, but not too bulky. Firm. Nice quads. Lean and strong, just the way she liked them.

That being said, she was not a fan of them being used to choke her out and snap her head clean from her neck. That needed to stop.

And it did, thankfully. Valley managed to get the ropes, the referee called for the break, and Sayumi obliged, letting up a scant second after the official’s order. It was a professionalism that she appreciated - even Valley herself had been known to hold the count for a moment or two after a break, wanting to milk the moment for all it was worth. But the damage had been done. The Slamazon’s head was in a spin, her equilibrium messed up, her neck aching.

It meant that she was too woozy to mount a comeback when she was lifted off the floor, a fact that her opponent used to maximum effect. She’d been stumbling on those wobbling legs for a mere moment before she was lifted straight up and hoisted about, held against her opponents budding chest. She knew what was coming, recognized what was about to be done, but knowing a move was going to hit and stopping it were two wholly different things.

Up she went and down she came, crashing hard on her back, bouncing a bit on the impact. She had to bite her lip from crying out, as the agony rippled through her body like a waved, head to toe and back on the spine. A good move, and one that left Valley lying underneath, Sayumi aching and trying to guess what her foe would come at her with next.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Post by Yori Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:44 pm

The ring shuddered under the hard impact of Sayumi's weight coming down alongside Valley, flattening the veteran out across the mat with a huff. Thoroughly in control again, she was hitting a stride that found her able to work back stamina and breath, something she often times struggled with in the ring. While she was having an easier go at the other woman now, she had to try hard to keep herself from being psyched out by the pressure of it all.

This was Valley Doll she was manhandling. Someone who had been in this game for longer than she had even known wrestling was a thing. Any slip, any misstep could spell her end… stop it Sayumi.

Seated beside Valley, she leaned in to shove the other woman hard, rolling her over onto her front while climbing into her hands and knees. She crawled overtop of the veteran, laying her shins across the other woman's back as if kneeling for confessional. An arm reached out on either side, trying to wrap her fingers around the other womans chin with one and her thigh with the other.

Sayumi rocked in place, breathing in and out with the motion before throwing her weight hard behind her. In a swift tumble she was rolled up onto her back, trying to suspend the other woman in a bow and arrow hold. If she managed to hold her in place, she would extend her legs, bending Valley across her shines as hard as she could muster while keeping her grip.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Valley hissed and started to push her way back up - a feeble attempt, she knew, but one she had to go for. She wasn’t able to get too high before Sayumi moved back in, wisely looking to keep this train rolling, and clearly going for a submission hold of some kind. Smart move on her part, really. She’d previously had good success with the submissions, and it was clearly an area that she had an advantage over Valley on. The Slamazon had a ground game, but it was a side dish at best, far from her main course. Not only that, but wearing her down would limit her options, pay dividends in the long run.

Smart. Smart and dangerous.

She had an appreciation for the classics, too, something Sayumi showed off when her knees came down on Valley’s back. It only took her a moment to realize what this was a setup for, but by then it was too late. Her chin and legs were gripped, she was rocked back, and she found herself in a tight Bow and Arrow hold., caught in Sayumi’s snare.

Valley was a flexible woman, able to bend her back further than most could dream, and that helped her out somewhat in this position, but her body wasn’t made of rubber. With this hold, she was stretched and bent to the limits of her comfort zone, and it was all she could do to flail about and paw at Sayumi’s grip, hoping in vain to make her slip up and let go.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Sayumi's eyes narrowed into a look of intensity as she worked over Valley's back, suring up her grip between hard pushed with her legs that sought to break the veteran in half. While it didn't appear the blond's struggling was helping her donation, the Japanese native knew the truth of it. She was having trouble making the submission as effective as she could be while her opponent fought her this hard, threatening to pry her fingers loose. She was determined to continue to capitalize on this opportunity for as long as she was able.

Her fingers curled, digging into the veteran's skin, white knuckled straining with each hard pull. Despite her best efforts she could feel her grip slipping. Did Valley notice? She couldn't be certain, but one thing she did know was the Slamazon was tough as nails. Regardless of the punishment she could dish out, she couldn't get this woman to tap.

"Come ooooon!" She gave one last effort, extending her legs as far as she could, arms shaking as she drew each side of Valley's body in. Slowly her fingers gave ground, centimeters at a time as she turned the hold up to hellish levels in a true test of endurance for the veteran until her grip inevitably would fail and send the two women awkwardly flopping apart.

Valley had to admit, she loved Sayumi’s choice of submission hold. The Bow and Arrow was, in her opinion, one of the most effective and underused wrestling moves out there, targeting a part of the body that so many other moves neglected, and in such a novel way. It was one of those moves without any obvious counter, and while it left your arms free, immobilizing the legs meant that you couldn’t hope for a rope break unless your opponent was silly enough to do it close to the edge. Which, for the record, Sayumi was not.

You were just sort of stuck there, until you either gave up or your opponent ran out of stamina for the move. At least, that was the obvious way things were supposed to go…

At any rate, Valley would’ve liked to give Sayumi applause for the move. Shame that she was in too much pain for it.

Her flexibility was being put to the test. Sayumi was far from the strongest wrestler she had ever taken on, but she had gravity on her side her, and while Valley was more limber than most, she wasn’t Gumby. She could only bend so far, and her spine’s protests were showing that. But for the moment, all she could do was swing her arms about, left and right.

And left and right.

And left and right.

And left and right.

Valley wasn’t just randomly flailing anymore, but was moving in a clear pattern, swaying back and forth. Each time, she rocked a little more, timing her swing to build up momentum each and every time, making her and Sayumi tilt to and for like a baby in a cradle. She waited until the last moment, until it looked like they were on the edge of tipping over on the left, then threw herself hard to the right, attempting to use the moment to rip her body free of Sayumi’s grip and flop on top of her opponent, hoping to get her with a surprise pin.

Without her hands to anchor Valley down, Sayumi's legs shot out with the intentions of ejected the other wrestler from the hold. They snapped out, extending fully to slam into the mat, but Valley hadn't gone with them, instead she came down over Sayumi's chest, pinning her to the mat. The weight of the veteran wouldn't normally have been an issue, but not expecting this had caught her off guard and winded her for a moment.

"One!"

"Ngh!" Her first instinct was to throw her legs up, but the way Valley had draped across her other body found kicking at the air with no real way to get up her shoulders. She twisted roughly, shifting beneath the other woman to force an arm free, extending it to the sky just before the second count hit.

Sayumi brought her hand down onto Valley's side, giving the other woman a hard shove to try and get her dead weight off on top of her, likely expending more energy than she had in making that happen. If she managed to shake the other wrestler, she would promptly roll to the side to create distance before starting to rise.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Valley hadn’t though for a second that her little stunt would be enough to pin Sayumi - really, she’d just been focusing on escaping, and getting a pin along the way was merely a by-product, something she figured she might as well try while she was in a spot for it. In that regard, it all worked the way it was supposed to, buying her time to get up and-

Nope, not happening.

Valley tried to stand up after getting shoved away by Sayumi, only to discover that her back was really not up for the task at the moment. She fell down to her knees halfway up, hissing and cursing under her breath, as her mind raced to try and find a way to move in, something she could hit her opponent with. Not much was coming to mind, shame.

For now, she had to settle on recovery. Getting up to her feet would be a good start, so she grabbed the turnbuckle pads and began to work her way up in the corner, grabbing one, then the other, until she was up on her feet with her back against the corner. Not an ideal spot, but she was vertical.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Sayumi had readily started to recover from earlier in the match. Pauses in action where she could breath helped that tremendously. She performed best when she could slow things down with hold, even taxing ones for her body like the bow and arrow. Rolling off to the side, she rose up to a knee in a rather spry motion, surveying the landscape to find Valley struggling to do the same. A smile graced her lips, finally feeling like she was doing good in this match… maybe it was time to try and end it?

Stepping up to her feet, she trudged across the ring with quickened steps, everything in her body language sending off warning signs. She had a serious air of finality to her movements as if she was coming in for the kill. While her opponent drag herself up in the corner, the Japanese native broke into a sudden spring to cover the distance between them.

Arms pumping, she jumped forward, throwing her upper body back in a snappy motion. Legs side by side, heels forward, she flew at Valley to deliver one of her signature Stinger dropkicks to slam the woman back into the corner she was resting in and soften her up for what came next.

Hitting the mat, she rolled backwards in a tumble that popped her right back up, ready to charge in to attempt to grapple what was hopefully a groggy Valley. If she got her hands on the woman she would roughly yank her away from the corner, dragging her towards the center of the ring. Just before they reached the final destination she threw her weight forward, twisting to the side to send her hip into the veteran's stomach to bend her forward.

Sayumi kept a hand on Valley's shoulder, throwing the other arm up with fingers displaying each number while she counted down with a pump of her fist. "Three! Two! One!" She moved to straighten the blond back up, promptly slipping a hand between her legs to scoop her up, trying to hoist her up onto her shoulders to set up her finisher.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Post by acuyra Sat Aug 17, 2019 8:02 am

This was a bad situation for Valley, but how bad was it?

Sayumi had shown to be a formidable opponent all throughout this match, and it was only really now that Valley was coming to truly grasp her style. She’d thought the woman would go for flashier, quicker stuff, the sort of moves that so many younger wrestlers favored these days. That, she knew how to do well, and if it had stayed at a lightning pace, she had no doubt whose court would have the ball right now.

But it hadn’t, and that was because Sayumi had a deceptively well-rounded style. Nothing too flashy, nothing too crazy. Safe moves that would always wow the crowd, but could get her ahead in a clinch. On top of that, the woman had  surprising well of stamina, able to rebound fast once she had a few seconds to catch her breath.

It all came together to make a troublesome package, and that, more than anything else, was why she found her back against the wall right now.

It was that last quality which gave Sayumi enough energy to raise up and send Valley flying with a dropkick, one that had more than enough power to knock the Slamazon clean off her feet and send her hurtling into the turnbuckle. The younger wrestler was on her in a heartbeat, wisely striking while the iron was hot and pulling her away on stumbling feet.

Valley was just about to try a counterattack when Sayumi’s shapely hip shot out and hit her in the gut, landing with the force of a haymaker. It bent her forward, knocked out the air that she managed to accumulate in the past few moments, and made her unable to do anything as her opponent shot fingers in the air, rallying the crowd.

A finisher. She was going for a finisher.

What that finisher was, Valley didn’t know and didn’t want to know, at least not while she was the target. The woman reached down and scooped her up, hoisting her up on her shoulders, and that was when the Slamazon took her chance. Her last chance.

”Zero!”

She pushed off Sayumi’s shoulder and fell behind her, but that wasn’t all she did. As Valley fell back, she grabbed her opponent by the head, placed her knees into her back, and let gravity do the rest, attempting to take them both to the canvas and hit her with a Lungblower in the process.

Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page - Page 6 Empty Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page

Even though the fatigue, Sayumi's excitement shined though. She hadn't really gotten to use her finisher before so the idea of christening it on a veteran like Valley Doll and picking up a big win was enough to make her heart nearly burst from her chest. The crowd was behind her, counting down after the first number despite not knowing why… the lavender haired girl wished she were able to bottle up memories because this was one she wanted to keep.

Getting Valley up, the woman's weight seemed lighter than before… was it adrenaline pumping through her veins?

Nope.

It was carried momentum of someone unwilling to be put away slipping up and sliding past where she should have remained perched on her shoulder. The surprise didn't hit Sayumi until she was being dragged backwards into lifted knees spiking her in the back. Her lips parted in a silent, breathless scream as she was crippled by the strike.

Eyes wide as her reality was shattered, she snapped forward off Valley's knees to flop face down onto the mat with a heavy and likely painful thud. She reached back with a hand, gripping her lower back while writhing in agony. Her boots kicked at the canvas like a child throwing a tantrum, doing anything that felt it could lessen the pain in the moment.
