Fighting Style: Very street fighter-esque. Quck and straightforward kicks are her most preferred means of attack. She strings these into long combos, with punches, grabs, and other maneuvers stuck in there in an effort to keep the opponent on the defensive, using her impressive speed to disrupt the opponent's attack pattern. Although her stamina is good, allowing her to unleash a flurry of kicks without getting too worn out, she's also quite frail and something of a lightweight. She can take on stronger opponents capably enough, and will participate in all kinds of matches.

Finishing moves:
Crescent kick spin - sort of a breakdance move... Marie performs a handstand, deftly twirling her legs outward into almost a split, spin-kicking the opponent's upper body area as many as 5 times with lightning speed. The first two kicks she can perform without moving her hands, but to go more, she must spin herself on her hands with perfect balance...

Moonlight (hentai?) - To be used after the Crescent Kick Spin is performed. After however many kicks as it takes to break her opponent's stance, she grabs her opponent's neck in a leg log and pushes up off the ground with her hands, which results in the opponent slamming back-first into the mat with Marie's ass down on her face.


Personality: She has a very feminine personality, largely representative of the flirty and elegant French female stereotype. Despite her pride in her femininity, she also takes pride in being a strong woman, staying fit and practicing a mixture of kickboxing and martial arts. Though normally very earnest, not shy at all, Marie seems to feel the need to keep quiet about her relationships and interest in other women, timid to publicly express any more than platonic feelings. She respects honorable and respectful people, but is disgusted by loudness, rudeness, crudeness, and other types of loathsome behavior--things she's dubbed 'American qualities.' Quite haughty of Americans and the qualities she thinks they display, she will often act demeaning towards people she thinks are american or who display those qualities.

History: Due to a parental dispute not long after she and her sister, Chelsea, were born, the two girls were separated at birth and taken away to live with one parent in separate countries. Chelsea was raised in America with the girls' father, while Marie grew up in France with their mother. The girls were told the utmost minimum about their other parent, due to the grudging nature of the parents' dispute, and not informed at all that they had a twin sister--until recently. Possibly due to something in their bloodline, both twins were ultimately drawn to AFW, Chelsea early on, and Marie quite a bit later... Upon Marie's arrival, she discovered with shock that she had a twin sister, and immediately sought her out for a match.
Having been raised in France, Marie speaks mostly French, but her English is quite good despite her fairly thick accent. She studied Japanese for just a bit before flying out to AFW. Her last name, Rigot, (pronounced rig-OH) was adopted from her mother's maiden name, but since her mother and father were related, however shortly, her true surname remains Stanton.
