Leah Shaw vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders

Alaina grit her teeth as the chop hit and she scowled but her forearm did the trick. However before Alaina could flatten Leah she had Leah dodge as she smashed her shoulder into the corner! Alaina was then rolled up, feeling Leah pinning her while the official moves into place!

"ONE!"

"You little twerp!" Alaina hissed as she thrust her legs and shoulders straight bursting out of the pin at one. She was quick to her feet knowing the same would go for Leah. It was time to make this little brat pay but she had to get her to sit still. Alaina reached out trying to yank Leah by the hair. She wanted to stun her for a second by snapmaring her around a couple times before attempting to lock in a rear chin lock on Leah provided her snapmares were successful in getting Leah down in front of her in a seated position.

Pin early, pin often. That was a good way to wear down an opponent and keep them on edge that any move could be the last one. It had been something imparted to her by Beowulf during their training and she made sure to make use of it, especially when it came with a slam. She hunkered down, trying to get as much as she could from the sneaky reversal. After only one count the Amazon burst free, Leah leaning back to keep herself from nearly being struck in the face by the forceful kick out.

Both women rose in tandem, but Leah’s position had slowed her just enough that her opponent beat her to the punch. She brought up her hands to grapple when the Amazon lunged at her only to be surprised when it was her hard that was grabbed instead. Her head was jerked down and forward, dragging her boots along the mat as Alaialna wheeled her around with her impressive strength.

The canvas shook as Leah was tossed over a shoulder to slam her backside on the mat, being pulled back up for another that left her backside aching something fierce. Her body shifted with the force of Alina bearing down on her, arms clamped around her head, cranking her neck with a chin lock. The blond let out a pained groan, pawing at the tightly cinched hold she was being subjected to but unable to slip her fingers anyplace to pry at it.

“T-that was dirty.” Leah groaned, likely referring to having her hair grabbed. She reached back, grasping at one of Alaina’s arms and the other hand behind her head. Pressing her heels to the mat, she pushed up, trying to force both women to rise as she stepped her way backward. She tugged at Alaina’s head and squirmed her own, working the top of her head to rest against the Amazon’s jaw. Without warning she dropped her weight, trying to drag her opponent down with her into a jawbreaker in an attempt to free herself.

Alaina cranked the pressure up on the hold but was surprised when Leah managed to stand them up. It was then that Alaina was reminded of one negative part of being a taller woman in the ring. As Leah dropped Alaina was in perfect position for that jawbreaker and it worked like a charm! Alaina grunted as her jaw now throbbed, her head snapping back as her hair flew everywhere. Alaina's hands came up to her jaw while she stumbled back on limp legs stunned for a brief moment that Leah could act upon.

“Owowow-” Leah reached up, rubbing the top of her head where Alaina's jaw had been pain throbbing. It had been an unfortunately desperate move to free herself, but a necessary one if she didn't wish to languish in a submission hold. The young rookie pushed off the mat, glancing back to take note of where her opponent was, but coming out of her rise to run the opposite way. She twisted coming at the ropes, sinking her back into them before slingshotting off back towards Alaina moving with far momentum had she just moved to her in the first place.

Launching off the canvas she threw her body backward toward Alaina, a practiced and picture-perfect execution of her flying hip attack aptly named hip-hop. She was hoping to floor the big woman and catch herself on the landing to continue the assault. Given the opportunity, she would step up and hop into a big leg drop across her chest before rolling over for another quick pinfall attempt!

Alaina felt the sudden smash of the hip attack ramming into her while she was wobbly. The pain of the hit and surprise of it led to a stumbling, falling amazon as she crashed down to the mat. She groaned and her limbs flopped up before landing lifelessly on the mat as Leah kept following up with the big leg drop and pin!

"ONE!"

Alaina groaned and bucked once to no effect but she thrust hard to the side and got a shoulder up off the mat just prior to the two count. She tried to shove Leah away, hoping to rise back to her feet without Leah hounding her with more attacks.

Leah had scrambled over the top of Alaina and gone for the standard pinfall, mindful to press down her shoulders actively with her weight and hook a leg. It was extra effort on her end instead of just draping herself across the Amazon but the purpose past it being a win control was to burn out her opponents by having to work to get up under a time crunch. Her head bobbed with the first count and was about to again when her opponent jerked hard and threw up an arm. The blond gave a small huff but was grinning and genuinely excited knowing full well it wasn't going to be that easy to keep someone of Alaina’s caliber down. She was already in the process of easing back when she was shoved hard, leaning back on her knees and nearly falling on her butt. "Darn."

Still close, she followed Alaina’s rise with spring in her step, circling close she aimed to hold onto her advantage. Just as the Amazon had reached her feet, Leah laid in hard trying to hammer her in the back with a stiff forearm strike to her lower back. She would try to follow up by slipping beside her opponent and throwing an arm around her waist and slipping a hand beneath her thigh to quickly heft the big woman off the mat and scoop her horizontally before dropping to the mat with a sidewalk slam. The blond wouldn’t go for the pinfall though this time, looking to immediately get back up if not stopped.

Alaina felt herself grabbed and was surprised when Leah lift her up. She shook her head and reached over to try to grab at Leah but she was already descending crashing hard to the mat! Alaina groaned and gasped for breath, trying again to rise to her feet before Leah could act. If Leah wanted to slam Alaina was more than happy to show her how to slam! The amazon was determined to take it to this blonde bimbo, and in shock that the airhead was managing to take it to her the way she had so far.

Leah was long since gone while Alaina rose up, rocketing across the ring to the far rope. She threw her back into them with gusto and came firing back toward the rising Amazon like a bullet. As she neared, Leah cocked a fist and threw it out in a wide haymaker swing at the open air. Her entire body spun as she took the last few strides toward her opponent in a seemingly out-of-control tornado of moments before reaching her with a massive spinning clothesline with enough momentum and force behind it to the floor even the biggest of competitors in the league.

If Leah landed the blow and knocked Alaina off her feet, she would follow the woman to the ground with a standing elbow drop into yet another pinfall only this time without hooking a leg. It had been a dizzying attack and she was recovering from everything spinning a bit for her right now. She would give a breathless laugh though, seemingly having a hold time throughout all of this.

Alaina was rising and stood just in time to get hammered by a flying Leah, crashing back down to the mat again! She moaned and her limbs flopped up as the elbow drop came back down on an increasingly frustrated amazon! Alaina was in some pain for sure and her pride was getting smashed up worse than anything.

"ONE!"

Alaina kicked the mat and raised both legs up before kicking while bucking her hips up, pushing Leah off just before a two count. She was still hurting as she grit her teeth, smacking the canvas a few times in a mix of pain as well as frustration. She was trying to get back up and as soon as Leah was in range Alaina was going to send a hard punch right into her face looking to start repaying some of the favor.

Leah bucked forward off of how she lay back against Alaina, letting out another chuckle as she took a small moment to catch her breath from all the running about. With a small shake of her head she started to stand herself up though unlike the rage-fueled Amazon, she paced herself after the fast offense she had just laid down. The rookie wheeled about as she stood to face back to Alaina only to find a fist flying at her face.

She instinctively dipped back in a lean, trying to avoid the blow but she had seen it far too late. The crack against her jawline was sickening, snapping her head to the side with a spray of saliva misting in the air. The young girl took a few stumbling steps back but still managed to keep her footing to the surprise of the crowd who had seen her take the huge punch.

She trained with her brother several times a week and he was a bare knuckle boxer. Regardless of whether she wanted to toughened up, he made sure every mistake was met with crippling body shots or knockout haymakers. Most people would likely be horrified by the prospect of just how she learned to take a punch gracefully.she gave Alaina a small upnod, and channeled her brother for a moment to throw a softball taunt her way. “Heh… You hit like a girl.”
